Please in a situation a candidate applied for G.T bxs he was only on 4yr experienced at the time of application,
He then clicked 5yrs during interview and was even asked about that by the panel.
What do you think will be his fate, can they consider the candidate as E.H?

This is a faceless forum, theres no need to hold back any piece of information. The list has been approved and there’s no going back. I made these shocking revelations because everything has been concluded.

I must commend neverdown, Ferguson, Tamihawtt and Smatgrid etc. for their significant contributions on this thread. These guys have provided us with genuine info in the past. I expect every other person to follow suit.

I concur with smartgrid's statement bacause i heard it from three independent sources, and for your info this session may not likely to be known by many people
Also, they may not even call any of the nairaland monikers, remember this is just a sample call woo
and i also did not hear about the result of the meeting but at was yesterday i was very sure that the session will hold today.

In view of this, a total of 400 would be recruited, as against the 250/300 been speculated.

If you think this number is incorrect, kindly put your argument forward

As for the "when" question, my source who is a top top shot in dpr said we'd be contacted before the end of the year.

What i want you to understand is this,
If you have ever worked somewhere you should understand that the issue of recruitment is solely the responsibility of corporate services/HR
So, who ever ur source is if it's not from hr is not reliable and u should stop deceiving people with that even if it is from a Dpr zonal director bcs anybody outside the hr knows very little about the processes
For your information, Dpr is recruiting 400 or more this time around and toward the end of year add more

I am 101% sure that as at Yesterday, 13/02/2018 No list (GT/EH) has left DPR for fcc. The successful applicants has been selected. But they are still going through rigorous checking and finishing touches.

It's very possible to send the list to fcc from today till the end of the week. And it's possible to get the approval this week as dpr has been complying with fcc at every stage of the recruitment. The certificate of compliance could also be obtain this week and successful emails to roll Next Week.

That's all I know from my little source. You don't have to agree with it. Wishing everyone including myself the best of luck.

I just want to help address two issues which seem to be on the front burner nowadays. Both issues can be easily be deduced by previous antecedents.

Most people are worrying themselves about HOW they will be contacted and some are even speculating about DPR publishing the 'list'. First of all, there would definitely be no list published. DPR has never published a list of successful candidates, that list only exists in their offices at the HQ & zonal/field offices; Even at that it would not even be pasted on d notice board but be in the HR/CS offfice. Why is this...?? Like a 1 moniker commented (Heinsberg or so), DPR is a high paying job; if there is a list of new entrants published in the dailies or online & your name is there, Do you know how many of your cousins,nieces,nephews,uncles, friends, ex-BF/GF's would be at your door the very next day... Even your landlord would show sef but just to inform you nicely that he would soon increase his house rent People that are beefing you would see you as a prime target for kidnapping etc. The mode of contact which DPR has used over the years is by a phone call or a text. Its mainly a phone call, if you dont pick up then a text is sent to ur number; even emails aren't a certainty. This is the first time the portal has been used till this time and it was used successfully in shortlisting, so I expect it to be used again also. So, there would be no list of names published in the papers; for those who are seeking the publicity, you can laminate your appointment letter & carry it like placard around your neck after you collect it Just be ready to be 'dropping' money everywhere and paying double for whatever you buy cos every1 would see you as a big boy/gal and want to exploit you.

For those who are asking the WHEN question, ie when they'll be contacted, again antecedents set the tone. The last 2 (or maybe 3 ) sets of DPR resumed in late March/Early April. I think only the 2006 set resumed in July or so. So why should this one be any different. As I said sometime in Sept/Oct last year, if the interview process is completed b4 Jan, you can be rest assured new intakes would resume latest in April. App letters are usually issued 3/4 weeks before the recommended resumption date in order to give one time to tidy up their affairs, so its most likely just around the corner. I CANNOT GIVE ANY SPECIFIC DATE, but just know that its close. Y'all are even lucky that the process was this 'fast'. You have waited this long, what is another 4/5 weeks...?? Just relax and keep on praying that you'll be one of the lucky ones.
