scalping doesnt mean making few pips but being in a trade for an extremely short time....trading on the 5min or 1min is scalping and some considered trading on the 15min as scalping...its not uncommon for scalper to make 100s of pips in seconds and sometimes minutes...

Either way I’m learning new things everyday on this thread... this thread has been a salvation to me in my forex journey... and I most say I agree with you, because the 40pips I caught from @blackeuropean’s prediction happened in a flash.... so you are right sir...

Scalping is a trading style that specializes in profiting off small price changes, generally after a trade is executed and becomes profitable you quickly take small pips on high lot size. It requires a trader to have a strict exit strategy because one large loss could eliminate the many small gains the trader worked to obtain.

This is not trust fund account and will simply discussed on trading about it, way I applied to fx account is simply not same with equity funds from banks, and I take 1 percent total risk on her account and don't put stock trading into it, as her broker do not offer stock we trade, so no way to replicate stocks to her fx account, once her saxo due diligence is passed tomorrow and her VIP is fully funded, that VIP account is simply restricted to 20% yearly,with 0.5 risk with other trust funds account, but this fx accounts I'm doing now while waiting that of VIP, I can trade and scalp as much as I want with 1 percent risk.

Makes a lot of sense, as a newbie the only thing that has kept me afloat and also kept my head above waters is money and risk manegment... or else I for don run...

Apart from my Bloomberg Terminal, if you know about Bollinger bangs indicator which I mentioned here, you can always use it to detect trend and break outs. Go learn Bollinger Squeeze and Breakouts if you can, very good too once you are perfect on it. And learn to use 4 hours candle to confirm trends, this is mostly what i use to scalp on 15 minutes Windows.

Wow this sounds like a full blown strategy, it will be much appreciated if you can take time to break it down so that newbies like me will understand and implement it..

If GBPUSD gets to 1.27XX I will find a buy trade with 10% risk and if it goes to 1.25XX I will risk 20% very very very bad money management but its something that can be easily recovered as compared to holding back making a multiple fold increase of my accounts for the year!

So its 8 days to the end of the year and I've come up with this plan to see how we can improve on our trading as well as make some money, I will try my best to provide us with only low risk trades for this project and I do not guarantee in anyway that we would get these results but I see its possibility.

I will call this the Fisherman project and I seek the permission of the OP if I can carry out this on his thread. Stay dedicated to ONE teacher! Learn all you can from this person. What you will learn during your training is small compared to what you will learn by associating with that selfsame person for 10 or 20 years after you have been trained.

The end of your training shouldn't mean you don't keep up the relationship with him. Greater revelations will be shown you as you prove to be diligent with the first and base things he teaches you.

Sadly, not too many function in this manner and they end up short - changing themselves in life.

On the CAD/JPY, price closed with a bullish engulfing candlestick within an ascending channel on Friday.

If the bullish candlestick is confirmed this week, we could be seeing price move to 83.479 as the next possible resistance level. Mind you, a confirmation is very important before we commit to a bullish bias.

On the other hand, if price closes below support level 81.620, the Bears may charge to the next possible support level 80.034.
