Somebody should help me check if this is a valid head and shoulder pattern.
I think this is a valid pattern, but let's wait for the break of the neckline, could be a very massive fall waiting to happen.... My opinion though, and I stand to be corrected... shocked

It will not sir. No be today. This time too shall pass. Those that criticize rudely and all that have no doubt sent the good ones away hopefully something will change things around soon.
I will be organizing a contest soon hopefully by end of February and only those that are active here in the last 30days will be qualified to participate.

Total Prize money of $200( Skrill $ or hotforex exchange rate) will be at stake and a chance to manage one of my trading accounts of $5000 balance minimum for 5 trading days for the first position and 50:50 profit Sharing ratio with no more than 10% drawdown.
Your moniker is Infofirst, but I always like to call you the great infofirst lol grin, and this is one of the reasons, God's willing I will be part of this contest, not necessarily because of the prize money, but I wanna improve on my skills and also to put my little trading ability to test... God bless cool

At this point, I will gladly delete my moniker.........and say goodbye to everyone.

My genuine intentions have always being to bring life to trading in my country. I know things are rough back home and feel really bad when I see people trade cent account or I see $10 or $100 or I see a lot of demo accounts flying here and there. Many here have dm'ed me and have privately helped them but I have found that even when I tried to create a loving family that goes beyond just NL or trading, greed is one major instrument embedded in my country people that makes many out there roaring to devour and trick you.....at this point, I'm no longer safe.

Bye to everyone
Boss @pipsbasketing you don't owe anybody anything on this forum, It's only a fool that will take the good job you've been doing on here for granted... Do not allow the mistake or the short-sightedness of one man change you who you are, continue with your good deeds...God and even the universe will repay you in a million folds... If we have just few bosses doing what you are doing this forum would be a better place to be.....

Some random pointers for the new year. (may not appeal to everyone though):

-Your stop loss is useless if you don't practice proper position sizing. What will happen to your account if a flash crash jumps your stop loss and sends your positions to -2000 pips negative? Position sizing goes beyond saying I risk 2% per trade. How much have you exposed to the market, even without a flash crash? If you'll lose more than a combined 10% of your account if all your opened trades ends as losses. That account may not last long.

-Ditch conventional indicators. Especially all those shiny arrows that are all based on moving averages. There is a 99% chance they won't work for you. You'll keep running around in circles with them until you either quit trading or you dump them.

-Embrace higher time frames. This is even more important now that sharp intraday market swings are common. You'll find your trade 70pips up, then one tweet or one news sends it back down to -40. On the higher time frame (daily, weekly, monthly), the big picture move will continue after the effects of that tweet or news has cleared. Seriously, if you learn how to look at the big picture, you'll be unstoppable. However, what qualifies as big picture will vary from one person to another. You also need to make sure your strategy always reacts quick enough to major trend changes even when you trade higher time frames. This part is tricky, but when you nail it down, you'll know.

-Don't pay too much attention to correlation.
Most forex pairs are correlated somehow at the end of the day. Even if you choose to trade only GBPAUD, CHFJPY, and EURUSD, they are still correlated indirectly. Instead of avoiding correlation, embrace it and spread your risk properly.

-Don't trade one pair. That's giving too much power to one instrument. Your account will literally depend on how that instrument moves. Aim for around 5-15 pairs and maybe (if your account can carry it) 2-3 metals and the two major ndices in your watch list. The currency pairs should be decent movers that are not too volatile or too slow. Like USDZAR, EURGBP, CADCHF etc. The slow ones will move 20 pips in one week. The volatile ones can have 30-50 pips spreads.
As you get more entries from your list, close out partial positions to balance out your overall risk exposure.

-You won't buy skyscrapers with your less than $1000 account in one year. There's a higher chance of crashing it if you want to push the limits and make as much money as possible. You need at least $100k to start dreaming about using profits from one year of trading to build houses and that's assuming you have a strategy that will allow you make 50-100% of that every year COMFORTABLY without panic, fear etc tampering with your trading results. Of course you can find some Chinese guy or something that turned 1k to 1m USD in one year from time to time.. Can YOU do it?

With solid medium risk trading, it will take at least 10 years of compounding to convert that small account to something big. Unless you show skill early enough and start focusing on attracting investors (always the best way to go).

Remember, these pointers are not for everyone. Pick what you want, discard what you don't like. I don't have power to argue anything o. Happy New Year to everyone.
Food for thought angry

Nice one brother, I don't know why I just like you, maybe because of your persistence... kiss kiss kiss

Anyways, while you seem to get those streak of positive results and seem to start to get your thoughts together about this business; my sincere advice from experience is: Caution yourself to not be too familiar with your charts and strategies.

A time will surely come where you will be hit with streaks of lost trades and you will even look back on backtesting and find out the several times you would have lost trades with the exact same strategy which you have been winning with. Now I'm saying, before it gets to this stage, stay away from the charts now, and reflect on other things, come back after 4-5days and continue to do your thing with a fresh mind.

Overfamiliarity with charts will, at some point, make you feel no strategy actually works, then makes you return to point 1 and start to search pdf, YouTubes, forums for a better strategy. It has its way of dealing with one's trading psychology.

This I battled from experience and won.....

Above all, dm me the currently trading demo account details now, I will look into it by end of January, February, and March. If I consistently find the results appealing, I would fund your live account with chekele to trade with. If you continue to repeat the results on live, it can go a long way in your life.

compliments........ kiss
Keep opening our eyes sir.... May God protect, guide and guard you amen...

I can not guarantee that I will be around on FTA 21; but b4 then, I again want you all to strongly believe that FX is real, reliable, and can be profitable.
I have been in this business for some time with provable or verifiable results which I have shared here and with some in privates.
My very best advice for you is to learn how to fish rather than being fed - In other words, become your own boss.

- Post trades, discuss trades and/or general outlook and NOT results; exception: post results of the trades you call and not the ones you never posted before maturity - it is that simple.
- When anyone comes here to show trade results, don't be shy to ask him/her to show if the account is real or demo; trust me, it is their major tactic of luring people to corner them.
- Update your call if it hits SL just as you would definitely love to update if it hit TP, don't just let it slide hoping no one would notice.
- Call out traits or traces of scam as early as possible: these guys are everywhere and can go any length to milk you.
- Respect everyone's trading style and strategy, be professional in conversations that relate to their trading strategy/style - we all are different types of traders and we can never and never trade the same way.

Above all, I will say compliments of the season: Merry Xmas and Happy New Year in Advance
Boss please don't leave us, if you must leave atleast hide me inside your traveling bag... grin grin grin

Don't, I repeat DONT go near hotforex and the investors /PAMM account. 1.4million in 45mins.. they tell you your investing with "experts", yet you could lose your total invest in less than an hour! They set up those accounts themselves, allow you to make some profit then bomb the account. Be warned.
I didn't subscribe for Pamm account or any kind of account management program, all I do with them is retail trading and from my little experience deposits and withdrawals are smooth and swift which is one of the top priorities for me when choosing a broker....

PipsBasketings right now.
Wrong assertion, it gets to a stage in one's trading career that if you are consistent enough, withdrawals will not mean anything to you anymore except in few instances where the withdrawal is a large amount of money, you only enjoy the high and the euphoria for some mins, close your laptop and go to bed... Think of it this way if you rolls out drums, dancing, and celebrating your profits, what would you do if you incur losses?? Would you shed tears and start weeping like a baby?? I guess not... It all boils down to psychology, I strongly believe that withdrawals isn't something new to boss @pipsbasketings, Its no more a miracle to him like it would for a newbie... Its just a normal thing to him.... my opinion anyways and I hope you understands....
