I agree with you totally. Now do you also agree with me that this woman coming to the social media, writing solely about one Mr. Nnadi as calling SARS to kill her son is baseless? She and everyone knows DSS killed her son and her petition or emotions should be against DSS and not a man who already surffered a lot in her sons hand all in the name of tarnishing his image.
The mans offense was reporting a kidnap case to DSS and you and I know the instruction to shoot one of 8 fleeing culprit should never have came from him.
You still missing the point. YOU ARE NOT A COURT OF LAW TO DECIDE WHO LIVES OR WHO DIES.
No matter the offence you believe someone committed, no matter how grievous, nobody has the right to kill another person.

I am not, neither are you a you! Maybe if you have a grand parent, I will wish this to happen to you so you. only then will you know the pain.
Again no body went to shoot him if he didn’t run. Mind you this happened in broad day light in a joint where there are so many witness!
Only if you can check the facts you will stop being sympathetic to a criminal
You still dont get it do u. All your appeal to emotion is pointless. Nobody has the right to kill another whether the person was escaping or not. Any killing outside the judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction is murder! Period.

Well, I think voting either of them is like starring down a gun barrel manned by a toddler. You'ld never know what to expect from one who hasn't been an all-rounder, not supervising things thoroughly till the end and the second man whom our fathers are vehemently rejecting due to the hardships he caused in 1983-85 with his unfriendly policies, a habit he still has intact.
But I'll simply go with the familiar one since I survived four years of his reign previously.
That new dude doesn't impress me. He has been there since 2003 and hasn't been elected. If he still didn't improve himself all this while, why should I turn back to begin to admire his 'questionable' qualities? Why?
I guess you were wrong.

For me I believe buhari had very poor choice of words. He was frustrated and agitated after being unable to clinch the presidential sit twice. But in all honesty I can't say buhari was solely responsible for electoral violence. That would not only be impossible but naive.

The truth is when it comes to violence, all major political parties have their thugs on standby who are ready to do just about anything to ensure victory. If u don't have money and thugs in nigeria, u can never win elections. And by thugs I also mean police and army. Nobody is innocent neither buhari not jonathan nor pdp. Even Nigerians tend to support whoever is more forceful and spends more money. They will sing ur praise during election then cry crocodile tears thereafter

One thing I've come to notice about the east is that they love to oppress each other. They use all means to humiliate and destroy each other. No brotherhood, no love and no unity in the east. Sad.

PoliticsLet's Talk About Nigerian Hypocrisy by blackpanda(op): 5:24am On Dec 14, 2020
We as nigerians are the world's biggest hypocrites. We love deceiving ourselves and telling ourselves lies, accepting zero blame or responsibility.

Somebody said, "the change you seek starts with you". Our leaders are not the problem rather the problem lies with each and everyone of us. I know many will read this and as their brain is only wired to distribute blame either by tribe or religion, they will just assign the writer to "them-them".

If we really want change then can we be real and stop deceiving ourselves? Why am I saying all this.

Go and check anybody in the history of this country that has ever been accused or indicted or convicted for corruption, you will find that behinde that individual are millions of Nigerians that have either benefitted, are benefitting or secretly wished they had benefitted from the loot.

If u have the chance of a one on one visit with a senator or minister, I can bet my left earlobe that the first thing that will run through the mind of a nigerian is not development or to discuss contemporary issues, the number one request is how to hugely benefit financially from the politician. Every nigerian politian has thousands, if not millions of mouths demanding to suck from the tanker of wealth being gulped by him. They will demand for money from daughter's wedding to mother's burial to house, car etc.

But the day that politician is caught or let me use the right phrase "blackmailed by the powers that be" same Nigerians will choose to play ostrich, pretending to be so self righteous and holier than thou. In this country, thousands of civil servants retire every year into penury and poverty. Those are the unlucky ones who either never got to "chop" through out their years in service or maybe were restrained by religious or other beliefs. Guess what? Nigerians curse these seemingly "honest" ones as good for nothing, useless, mumu etc. But the ones that are able to loot heavily and come back to share pittance to the community are branded as heroes and role models.

Let's just face the truth: everybody is a thief in nigeria. Everybody! Including u that is pretending to hate corruption publicly. shocked

PoliticsRe: Civil Servant Paid Himself ₦145 Million As PIB Media Fund In 2015 – Senate by blackpanda: 5:02am On Dec 14, 2020
seunmsg:
That the senate public accounts committee is just conducting a public hearing on 2015 auditor general’s report says a lot about how serious we are about fighting corruption. The OAUGF has already released the 2016, 2017 and 2018 audit report but we are still on 2015 in 2020.

Even at that, they would play around with the issue at the public hearing and then reach a compromise behind camera. At the end of the day, nothing will come out of this just like all others.

Until the part of the constitution that deals with how audit report should be treated is amended or the Federal audit bill is passed, nothing will come out of Auditor General’s annual report no matter the effort put into it by Auditor General and his team.
Forget report or constitution. The truth is that the whole system is engineered to fail.

You can never become a permanent secretary without proper lobby/political & financial settlement. U spend millions to get the position, so won't u recover?

Let's not play the ostrich. With the poor salaries and devastating working environment, nobody can tell me the won't chop if given the opportunity. Abi u will pay rent, school fees and feed your community with whathuh

Noise

Many will rush here to judge and castigate when in actuality 100% of Nigerians wish they had opportunity to loot. The anger is not really at the looting, but the fact that u are not the one chopping.

When your uncle or community leader who is a permanent secretary gets to d village, y'all will line up begging for money for one mysterious problem or the other. Where do u think the money comes fromhuh

Hypocrites!
