Oga.. There is no problem, national security agencies act abi? That's one major problem with Nigeria, our behavior of the end would justify the means, we can't just do decide things right and in the right manner. A lawyer was telling me, that even the constitution doesn't recognize any agency as the DSS, what is stated is SSS. Normal Nigeria way, someone just decided to rename it DSS.
That is the problem with nigerians. Instead of opening book to read or even use google, you rather base ur opinion on what one "mysterious" lawyer said. Sir, the law is there for u in black and white. Is not about listening to roadside gossip or baseless insinuations ok.

As a concerned Nigerian, fighting corruption should be one of our first actions, but doing it in the right way, give the anti - corruption agencies the backing to do their jobs. If this method of fighting corruption continues. Impunity would continue and we would end up not getting the required results. They say, what ever is worth doing, is worth doing well, government should fight corruption in the right way. So excuses would not arise. Should the armed forces join in the anti corruption war? No, because it's not in their job specification. Same with the DSS their job specifications is simple ' Department of State Services (DSS), is the primary domestic intelligence agency of Nigeria. It is primarily responsible for intelligence gathering within the country and for the protection of senior government officials, particularly the President and state governors',
Dont say what u dont know. Go and read the National Security Agencies Act before u blab.

Now you are going in circles. How is any of the things you said news?

Kogis of Igbo ancestry, do you see them calling themselves Igbo rather than Igalas?

I know Esan( Edo) communities with Igbo ancestry, yet they don't call themselves Igbos, they are Esans.

Why exactly were you expecting Igbos of Yoruba ancestry to identify as anyother thing but Igbos?

Please, we are all related, yet there are thick lines separating us all.
There is no line seperating anybody. Those lines are just a product of ur imagination born out of hate and bias. Nigeria remains one and indivisible. If my father is yoruba, mother is igbo and she raises me in awka, names me chukwudi and I speak only igbo, Will u call me yoruba?? This silliness in trying to draw lines where they dont exist must stop. We are only related and bound by a single destiny

I thought we were speaking of indigenous groups, and not residents.
Well, in that case you are right, we have many non Igbos resident in Igboland, just as we have Ndiigbo Resident in the 36 states of Nigeria.

if you were talking about resident groups, then fire on by all means. But if you wanted to use the Yoruba ancestry of the Odiani clan of Enu-ani to claim a part of Igboland, then your plan is DOA.
Please read well before u spill trash. Fact is there are igbos with yoruba ancestry, there are kogis with igbo ancestry, there are edos with igbo ancestry. So stop deceiving yourself. There is no part of nigeria that is ethnically exclusive!
Politics › Re: IGBO SCHOLAR DISGRACES Femi Fani Kayode by blackpanda: 6:25am On Oct 24, 2016
Igboid:
No Yorubas are part of Igboland, anymore than there are Igbos in Isokoland.

Those people you call Yoruba had since assimilated into the Enu-ani Igbo culture, and today share same cultural, political and philosophical beliefs as Ndiigbo, also are partakers in our commonwealth, and so are Igbos today, just as Igbide though originally from Eastern Igbo, but having migrated into the heartland of Isokoland, had since assimilated into the Isoko cultural, Linguistic and political realm. They are in all raIgbos can nolonger lay claim to them.

I'm sorry my friend, there are no Yorubas in Igboland(Enu-ani). If you mean Igbos of Yorubas ancestry, then you are right, as Olukumis( Odiani) are of Yorubas ancestry, just as we have Ossomaris who are of Igalla ancestry, the Ettes and the Adukwus of Enugu Ezike Who are of Idoma ancestry, the Effium and Ntezi who are of Ukwelle ancestry, the many families in Ika who are of Edo origin, the Aros who assimiliated the non Igbo speaking Akpas within them during the war for the soul of Arochukwu with the Ibibios.

You see my friend, Igbo is not a monolithic group, we come in different shades. We are a conglomerate, yet we are one people, United by Igbo language spoken in a continuum of myriads of forms called dialects ,and many shared cultural and spiritual beliefs.
The 3 pparagraphs of ur epistle contradict each other and are largely incorrect. You say there are no yorubas in igboland? Wrong. There is no place in nigeria where persons of other tribes arent residing. The bulk of ur epistle only resides in your wild imagination. Nigeria is a large, diverse, intertwined and multicultural country. Cultures have merged as a result of movement of persons, inter-marriages and search for economic benefits. So stop day-dreaming. There is nothing monolithic about igboland. Igbos are also in edo, ondo, lagos and sokoto. There are kogis whose origin are from enugu and onitsha. And vice versa

I guess some people don't know the difference between A kingdom and and an Empire.

Nigeria was part of the British empire, does it now make us British?

That Bini stretched her land grabbing expansionism and imperialistic influence over Western Igboland is a known historical fact, but that doesn't mean that Western Igboland was Biniland, just as Nigeria being part of British empire didn't mean Nigeria is now part of Britain.
I know u feel u have spoken smartly. But my dear u have said nothing. Nigeria is still a member of common wealth, and there are yorubas who are part of igboland. Yes independence and decolonisation has changed this, but u cant change history.

So says a poorly trained SSS operative. I know that you people are under orders to invade the social media and swing public opinion in favour of your principal, No problem.

Since warrant is warrant go and use it to secure a conviction. Secondly why are you waiting for the AG ? Go and prosecute na? Butterfly that thinks itself a bird.
Shebi una dey form independence, refusing to submit to the authority of the National Security Adviser? Dabbling into political frame ups and interfering in governance. Go back in time ; Abdul Rahman Rafindadi was impunity personified under the previous Buhari regime . What happened to NSO after him would be child's play to what will happen to SSS after Daura. Dey there they call yourself DSS.
Wetin de do this one. Are u ok at all?? Who told u am DSShuh Pls just shut up before u get urself in trouble. Its not compulsory u comment. If u dont know something, shut up and learn!

Marotzke:
first SSS (DSS is an illegal acronym, unknown in law) does not prosecute.
They are statutorily required to turn in the results of their investigations to the (1)NSA ( for matters relating to national security for appropriate actions) .(2) police for matters relating to infringement on criminal justice system. (3) the Attorney General for prosecution (4) NJC, Army council, police services commission etc
If they have confidential information that warrants suspension of operators in these specialised services.
Procedurally they know that they can't convict anybody in any law court, that's why they are clamouring for jankara suspension.
First you don't arrest a federal officer using a magistrates warrant.
Second your search need to be meticulously transparent. Which judge will admit as evidence a box of cash purported to have been recovered by 2am witnessed only by DSS operatives.

Sting operations are normally accompanied by surveillance reports and video evidence of arrest in the presence of independent witnesses.

None of these requirements were met. In fact the whole scenario is very annoying.
[/s]

Somebody will read this load of nonsense u wrote and actually swallow the trash hook line and sinker. Please stop misleading the public and yourself. DSS can arrest anybody at anytime and at any place for actions that constitute a threat to national security. There is nothing like "magistrate's warrant" in law. Warrant is a warrant and can either be signed by a judge, magistrate or justice of the peace. So dont spread falsehood. The arrest of the judges is 100% in order. Period!

Does DSS forward complaint to NJC or its the other way round. DSS job is to investigate and prosecute. NJC already have those petitions some since as far back as 2011. Makes no sense waiting for DSS to forward another complaint.

During the eight years, he served as governor, the man unceremoniously collapsed the judiciary and the legislative arm with his executive. He made sure that, the judiciary never functioned, that the House of Assembly perform their legislative functions in his dining while he not only presides but also pontificates. The likes of Chidi Lloyd, Otele Amachree were his puppies, always willing and ready to dance Unclad not minding the glaring public eyes.

I have to say this is a very unfair and biased appraisal of amaechi. He did not collapse the judiciary, rather his then haters in abuja wanted to use the judiciary to destroy his tenure. Why should federal NJC be responsible for appointing judges to state high court when u have a State chapter of NJC. Are we not practicing federalism again. Pls the attack on this man is unwarranted and unfair. The truth is that his detractors hate him because the believe he was instrumental in kicking the ineffectual buffoon out of asorock.

And pls dont downgrade the justices lies. If someone truly bribed u, why did u keep quiet until u were raided and caught red handed with illicit funds. Was it amaechi that hid the money in ur house too?? Rubbish
