[s] nwabobo: So keeping a billion dollars at home is money laundering? I wonder the kind of education you lots get in that country.
Just to help you so you don't embarrass your self further and possibly in d midst of intellects.
Money laundering is "the crime of moving money that has been obtained illegally through banks and other businesses to make it seem as if the money has been obtained legally"
To educate you further in a manner that would be clear and unambiguous to even an elementary school pupil, the word 'laundering' is the grundy or present participle of the word 'launder' which means to 'wash and iron' ie making something dirty to become clean.
If I decide not to keep my monies in the bank and chose to keep it under my mattress, it's nobody's business and I have not contravened any law.
Be properly guided dude. [/s] Grow up kiddo. U know nothing. |

Paperwhite: Shehu Garba lied.Buhari have simply been intolerant of the judiciary or showed impunity to court judgements that never went in his favour.Fela's forceful conviction by a judge who later became stricken by guilty conscience & apologized to the late music icon is a peculiar case.Recall the Dasuki & Nnamdi Kanu cases. Why do they kept changing the judges handling this cases & opting for secret trial? Since they can't get any evidence to convict these fella,so they kept looking for judges who will play along. Amaechi should resign to clear his name as this is a weighty allegation on this government otherwise the judges are right in their assertions. Gosh! Nigerian education system is truly in shatters |

Politics › Re: S’court Justices Under Probe Withdraw From Sittings by blackpanda: 7:57am On Oct 31, 2016 |
nwabobo: Do you think you are addressing kids? The allegations against the judges are also mere allegations. You said they were caught red handed, red handed doing what, collecting bribe? It's not a crime for you to have a billion dollars in your house, it becomes a crime if the money was gotten through illegal means and so far, this has not been established against the judges.
As for the 2nd part of your post, you need to go and read the judge's letter to the CJN, he never said Amaechi came to meet him on the date after judgement had been delivered, he said he reported to the Chief judge on thst day.
Do not try to obfuscate us here please. You see, u come out fuming with all manner of noise, only to expose your ignorance. It is a pity that someone who claims to be educated does not know that money laundering is an offence. For avoidance of doubt, keeping a billion dollars at home IS A FEDERAL OFFENCE! So dont come out to make noise when u have no clue what u are saying ok. The corrupt judges can name any names they like, they can even claim buhari paid them bribe. But at the end of the day it is mere hearsay without proof. The fact remains they were caught with large sums of money in their custody which they cannot account for. Wen combined with the plethora of petitions against them, even a blind bat can see the handwriting on the wall! |

kcnwaigbo: But Amaechi is yet to step down in line with the example laid by the judges Why will he step down. The judges talk is merely an allegation with no atom of proof. Just unverifiable stories. On the other hand, the judges were caught red handed. The anti-graft agencies to investigate amaechi, and if found wanting then he can step down. But the judges story is also fantastic. As at the time they claim amaechi was bribing them, they had already delivered judgement. So why will someone be bribing u wen u have already delivered judgement than cannot be reversed?? Makes no sense |

nwabobo: How about Amaechi? Even raising the issue of amaechi further indicts the judges. It means politicians have been coming to them secretly and they didnt bother to report such, which is another violation of the Rules of Professional Conduct. Even if the amaechi story is true, it doesnt absolve the judges of this particular crime. |

freeze001: This is what a proactive government determined to improve its country does. Meet needs by involving and promoting local solutions; even international expertise is brought home to favour and enhance domestic operations.
@blackpanda, u really cannot absolve the Nigerian government from time immemorial of deliberately sabotaging our development due to greed and ineptitude. You say our expertise in ur opinion lies in agriculture, petroleum and solid minerals. Can u explain why till now from the 50's when crude was discovered, we are still dependent on international oil companies to even tell us how much we produce and export till date?
Agriculture yet till now, rather than imbibing international best practices for profitable yield and manufacturing, we are still here trying to smuggle laws to maintain and preserve archaic, nomadic lifestyle of a certain sect! Solid minerals? Don't get me started!
The so called expertise u say Nigeria has that should then preclude her from 'putting mouth everywhere' did it come from thin air? Was it not introduced and developed from a point? What has happened to those? Leadership has been dead in this country and there is no defending it please! With the technology and manufacturing nucleus in the SE and in d 'computer villages' dotting the Nigerian landscape why has government not 'put mouth' there?
U talk of inability to produce even indigenous cars, how much support has Innoson received? Rather he's been starved of forex so much that he's had to suspend production and what has the government done? NOTHING! I dont know what that rubbish u typed means. Were u just trying to insult a tribe or what. You keep blaming govt, but are u ursef ready to go to farm?? Pls if u cant be constructive, then be quiet! |

I dont agree with u. Nigeria cannot be putting mouth everywhere, that is not how Government functions. Nigeria lacks both the infrastructure and technical expertise for weapons and aircraft manufacture. We have not even been able to manufacture and acquire our own indiginous car let alone aircraft.
Nigeria should focus on where it has comparative advantage, which is in agriculture, petroleum and solid minerals. We must not do things just because others are doing it. Thats my view. |
