CookieBrown:
Women are lower than men period? Really? Well okay so your Mother and sisters are lower than me , infact their lives are worth less than male criminals , i can rape them and get away with it and i can use them as workers and pay them much less than others. If after reading this you still think women are less than me then you have just showed the world how low you reason.

What is wrong with Africans? Is it the air they breadth or the water they drink that makes most of them so stupid.
Shut up and get lost! If u can comment without insults then be quiet!

Gender equality is not part of our African tradition - Nigerian tradition is now the same as the African tradition? What tradition are we talking about by the way? The same one your knuckle dragging forefathers created out of thin air? If you really believe in this " African tradition" as you claim, why not crawl back into the cave you originated from? Why not take off your English made clothes, Asian made phones, German made cars e.t.c. ? Bloody hypocrite and savage, why are you so afraid of Women? Rubbish African Tradition that has contributed nothing in your life or this World.
You dont have to insult people to make your point. We may have divergent views but its not excuse to be rude. Learn to be civil when commenting.
Btw few years ago when the ineffectual buffoon signed anti-gay bill into law, you all hailed it because homosexualism is against our culture and tradition. So what has changed between then and nowhuh You supported govt to make laws based on "african tradition" then, so you can not be heard to complain now. This rejection of equality bill is firmly in line with our tradition. Women are lower than men in africa, period!

Despite all your hypocritical moral codes, where is your country amongst the community of nation? Poor . Filthy. Dark. Primitive.

Please. Get the bill and read it.

Gender equality is not part of our so called African tradition but looting, tribalism, ethnic cleaning, jungle justice, worshipping of thieves , etc , are a part of our African traditions? Isn't it?

At Topic : How could a corrupt and depraved Senate with the likes of Yerima, a known paedophile or Dino, a known wife beater, support such a bill?

I'm sure you've not even read a page or course from such a great bill. If you had, you won't tow the path you did. The bill seeks to eliminate ALL forms of violence and deprivation against our women. What's wrong with allowing our women become all Providence has empowered them to be?
Call them names all u want. But nigerians support only laws that are in line with tradition. And by tradition, a woman's place is in the kitchen!

Its the same argument that was made for gays, so why shld we change it nowhuh

it is never in any tradition.

even the bible and that so called Quran said it!

WOMEN ARE subservient to men weather them like it or not!

infact! if that bill ever pass, homosexuality will become the things of the past in this country.
Yes oooo....gbam!
Politics › Re: Nigerian Senate Fails To Pass The Gender And Equal Opportunities Bill. by blackpanda: 7:08pm On Mar 15, 2016
Gender equality is not part of our African tradition. Women must be subservient to men cos women are under men. We dont want gender equality, just the same way we dont want homosexuality. Let us follow our african values to the latter!

Akaujaa:
People who criticise Buhari now are either illiterates or pretenders. Change goes with sacrifices and pains. That's the simple truth. Nigeria before now, failed to diversify her economy and so depended hugely on oil. Now, the price of oil (which we made the mainstay of our economy) has nosedived worldwide and yet, we expect things to remain the same. All we want the government to do now is to perform some kind of magic, forgetting that planning precedes success.
Dont mind the lazy greedy goats called wailers!

rhosymedre:
You may be right that maybe Jonathan should have addressed the problem of corruption seriously.

However, let me demonstrate that "stealing" can be different from corruption.

1. Consider this Scenario

A government official is driving on the road with his convoy and escorts; with their sirens and unruly nature, they bully other road users out of the way and even damage their vehicles.

That IS CORRUPTION even though it is not stealing!

2. A government official dips into his department's budget and diverts one billion naira to his own account.

That is STEALING; it should not be dignified with the nicer word "corruption"!

3. A clerk in a governement office demands egunje/gratuity/'PR' of 2000 naira before releasing a form to a member of the public who needs it.

That IS corruption --- but not quite stealing.

So you see, when understood properly, the statement that "ordinary stealing, they are calling it corruption" is actually correct!
Hahahahhaah
I cant stop laughing!!! grin shocked

wao!!! Am sure your comment was moved by hate and hence bereft of common sense. The act may have taken place April 2015 but the matter before the court was well after the incidence occured which was after PMB was sworn in So anyone will be right to ascribe the failure of the DSS to put up an appearance in court to the current govt stance of flouting court orders.
Then following your argument, we should also ascribe the initial violence committed to the person of Goodluck Jonathan as his regime was famed for bullying and beating the masses. Afterall, this is not the first case of security personel brutality on citizens!

The President is doing his job. He does not need people who only claim nigeria in name to talk about things they have no clue.

What exactly will be achieved by the President sitting down in Asorock doing nothing?? I believe we have institutions that function properly with or without the president's direct involvement.

The Presidents trips are not for fun or leisure. So short sighted ingrates need to find elsewhere to channel their noisemaking!

U re just pathetic,

U really don't know what amaechi is arguing using d airport as a point.

My point is, if he had saw it as a priority den as a governor the same way he saw it now, he would have done it.

But if he didn't see it as a priority then, then that is more reason why the FG never saw it as a priority too.

As for wike being the education minister and not doing any school in rivers, well rivers is not the only state in naija, but I am not talking about wike now, we are talking about amaechi and his hypocrisy.

2ndly, GEJ and his administration were voted out for their in competency. So,amaechi should do his job already as a transport minister and stop trying to score cheap and pointless political and campaign goals.

And talking about education under GEJ, was it not d same amaechi that cancelled the maritime institute from his region?
You can make your point without insulting people. You only get frustrated when your arguments are weak, myopic and just plain ridiculous!

Amaechi is doing his job as transport minister. You are the one unnecessarily aggrieved. Anyway your opinion doesnt count. You can hate him all u want, it changes nothing.

buhari is only human and a politician..
why so much faith in a politician who has politicians as his ministers and advisers?

we can talk about Efcc, presidency, Nigeria etc...but i don't enjoy talking about GEJ as a failure or buhari has a success.. cos it brings sentiment.. as far as inam concerned, they are all d same with very little differences in d way the operate.

thank u.
You may not want to hear it, but for now the efcc works with the government's body language. Under jonathan the body language was simple: stealing is not corruption. Which means arresting looters was a waste of time and we saw it in several cases aviation minister, farouk lawal etc

Whereas Buhari's body language is to arrest and prosecute anybody involved, no matter how highly placed.

Lets face facts, all these arrest would never have been possible under Jonathan. Infact u wont even hear of the case, let alone arrest. Spurious committees will be set up to destroy any evidence
