That's a lot of movement.

Then again, remember he is a new President trying to form diplomatic ties for his administration.

Traveling is a lot of stress, so rest assured the old man isn't traveling for leisure.
The question people should be asking is what the potential outcomes/fruits of each visit are, and not just criticisms of the visit in itself.

e.g What deals are being negotiated, what new treaties are being formed or being worked toward etc.

Then, if they determine that a specific trip has no defined useful goal, then of course, criticism is in order.
Dont mind the brainless useless twats! They dont care about the reason, they just love to pull govt down no matter how flimsy and ridiculous the reason!

first of all, the rapist is not 18 years old but 25 years old. How would you feel if a 25 years old kidnapped and get your 14 year old daughter pregnant. I guess you will go to court and beg for the judge to release the 25 years old man because he wants to marry your 14 years old child
Did u not see the part where I said he is guilty of statutory rape or u just feel like blabbing to soothe your ego. Smh

The girl is a minor. Yunusa is 18 an adult.
Yes he is technically guilty of statutory rape.
But I was speaking of his intent. Everybody makes mistake.
And before u call 18 an adult, remember yourself at 18. We all did stupid things. Even at 25 in the university, boys are still misbehaving. Let alone 18.

Its not an excuse tho. But I think the court shld temper justice with mercy. The boy is obviously ready to marry her. So its not a case of rape and run.

Even if d girl agree to elope with him,it still not right. For crying out loud,d gal is too young. Moreover y was she not immediately released to her mother wen she(d mother) came down to kano?.Y is it dat it was after it got to d internet n everybody started contributing before yinusa n his people release her?
Another question you should be asking is why bother to marry her, if its only abduction and sex the boy was after?? He could easily have locked her up and keep having sex with her without marriage.
I believe the boy's intent wasnt necessarily evil. He just committed a grave mistake by thinking that girls in the south are like those in the north that you can marry/divorce any how.
Crime › Re: #FreeYunusaYellow: SAN, 4 Lawyers File For Yunusa Yellow's Bail by blackpanda: 8:20am On Mar 11, 2016
I dont think they shld prosecute this guy. To me, this is just teenage love gone wrong. Except they can prove that Yunusa abducted her and forced her into marriage.

From the stories on social media, it almost seems as if they girl followed him on her own. Girls at that age are vulnerable. And even the Yunusa is just 18. Both of them dont knw anything

Let me clarify my self again. I am neither an advocate for disintegration nor a an igbo supremacist I am simply someone who understands the under belly of what I seriously considered as Nigeria's bellicosity in hypocrisy.

An instance is how some people who just boasted of their heroism in a fanthom Civil war fought by Egyptian pilots and chadian rebels with Soviet Union military hardware to unify a country but will not raise a finger to defend the slaughtering of their brothers and sisters in their own backyard.

Mytake is that 90 perct of people with such stereotypes are the worst hypocrits in fact calling Nigerians hypocrits is an insult to hypocrits Nigerians are worse than hypocrits.

Some people accused the previous government of not building a new road and one year in a government run by him all that is to their credit is a helipad in a down run state in the north.
Once again you are mixing up issues. What has igbo stereotype got to do with hellipadhuh Stick to the issue. All tribes have stereotypes. Generalisation is a part of life. It doesnt mean every member of the tribe is like that, its just our way of understanding each other.

It has nothing to do with biafra or pdp or apc or building of any hellipad!
Culture › Re: 5 Igbo Stereotypes Every Nigerian Must Drop by blackpanda: 5:22am On Mar 11, 2016
kettykin:
The problem in this case does not seem to be igbos but the other tribes who despite this ugly trait of igbos will go ahead to spill the last drop of their inferior hypocritical blood in order to make sure igbos are in the same country with them.

My take is that if someone is accused of being a money worshipper by someone who feels he is not then both parties are at liberty to get away from each other.

Any thing besides this is at best a cover up for hypocrisy and false patriotism. The same Nigerians accused Ghanaians of wrecking their country and organized a Ghana must go campaign. Today it is the igbos you accuse of doing all to make money that is organizing their igbos must leave Nigeria campaign, then I tell you the problem is with you.
Pls do not confuse issues. All tribes have stereotypes about then, but it is not an excuse for disintegration. So stop spreading hate. The fact that igbos love money, doesnt mean we hate them. They are our brothers and sisters, and infact their love of money can be a plus for the nation. They may love money, but they are also industrious, hardworking, courageous and provide jobs for nigeria's teeming youths.

Nigeria is here to stay!

Politics › Re: A Need For Core Technocrats In PMB Cabinets by blackpanda: 8:05pm On Mar 10, 2016
The way I will summarize this post is thus:

Good intentions, naive shortsighted conclusions.

You dont need to be an electrical engineer to be minister of power. The ministry deals with policy and regulation of the industry, and not the power generation or distribution per se. Besides, there are hundreds of engineers working in the ministry in their respective fields to deliver optimum results. Same goes for all the other ministries, except for Ministry of Justice where the AG must be a SAN.

Govt functions best with a mix of both politicians and technocrats. Politicians manage the people, technocrats manage the industry.
