Not many are aware that the current Cross River State Attorney General Tanko Ashang is also a Director in the Federal Civil Service.

Apart from violating the Constitution, Code of Conduct and the Public Service Rules by holding more than one full time employment at a time, the Cross River AG who was just promoted again in 2021 continues to hold two public service jobs in a country where jobs are scarce and inflation is high.


It is true that they say anything goes in Nigeria, but violation of the very constitution which an Attorney General is sworn to protect goes to the very root of impunity.

It is obvious that the so called director either bought his way through or the appropriate authorities seem not to be interested in doing their jobs!

The handwriting on the wall is becoming clearer now. The truth is that no other party is capable of credibly challenging APC nationally as at today.

If you look at all the potential candidates in PDP, they have all been given a chance to rule and they all failed woefully. None can conveniently claim to have the support of the party itself. Moreover infighting and greed will never allow pdp succeed or even be unified.


The only other significant parties like APGA and Labour Party are just sectional parties. And even at that, they seem not to be able to even guarantee election success in the section of the country in which they hold sway.


So bottom line: it appears as if to win national elections means u either join APC or form a new party. But between now and 2023 can anyone form a new party with a strong enough grassroot to challenge apc

i married with 50k salary. my wife was a student. somehow we made it work and today we are very comfortable. Its not how u start or what you earn that matters, its determination, love and hardwork. A man must never be afraid to shoulder responsibility but also the wife must key into his dream and be a good helper.
