Barcanista=whatlfy I meant kwankwaso. Now run along and go curse your dad. Phoool. You are the king of double speak. Anyways na so una be. whatlyf: vote ibb 4 president whatlyf: HATE HIM OR LOVE HIM, IBB 4 PRESIDENT, HE RULEZ!!!
@ANONIMI, after all your histories and stories, i find it difficult to be deceived by your antics. Lets face it, GEJ is a sissy, he isn't man enough to be a leader. Nigeria needs ppl like IBB, i thank God that MKO never made it to the presidency, otherwise, we would have been doomed. You yoruba and ur media cannot keep confusing us. We need IBB to make life difficult for all of you who took our money to sponsor yourself, your wives and children abroad! We need IBB to give us a new direction as a nation and not being an extension to the US/EU, just exactly what Ahmadenijad of Iran is doing! Iran today is far better than all these American/EU leaning countries like nigeria. Jonathan is a coward and a romote in the Hands of one Old otta farmer! Forget all these Abiola/June 12 rants because he had his own hidden agenda and IBB knew him very well, he was power hungry just like all these "democrats" parading themselves around. Hate him or love him, PDP or not, North or South, Home or Abroad, IBB rulez, IBB 4 PRESIDENT, COME MAY 29 2011! God bless Nigeria, whatlyf: IBB for presido!!! like it or not, he rulez, Jo-boy suck, he is not man enough to be president cos he takes orders from one old otta farmer whatlyf: Rivers State Vote will go to IBB, GEJ is too clueless and a SW tool. He has done nothing for the SS since ascending to presidency. I would rather have an Igbo PRSIDENT come 2015 and 2023 (being 2 terms) than a GEJ president in 2011, if IBB sings the right tune, focuses on improving the southeast - southsouth, I will deliver all of Okirika to him,
Even if i am a Niger-Deltan, i know my root and i have not forgot my brothers, Ndigbo all the way!!! whatlyf: The real truth is, whoever wins the PDP ticket will DEFINITELY win the 2011 presidentian election, either by legal votes or by legal rigging and their is nothing anybody can do about it, It is between two PDP heavyweights in the Persons of IBB and GEJ. Atiku is a joke and has always been. He does not have the support of his state, even the PDP has not granted him membership. Buhari is TOO desperate to be president, he lost it all when he left ANPP for CDC (a very unpopular political party). As for Ribadu, the last time i checked, he didn't publicly state his membership of a political party, so ACN giving him their ticket on a platter of gold shows how weak the ACN party is. Full of ex-Ribadu critics, corrupt old lagos attention seekers of politicians receiving sympathy from the Lagos dominated media (Especially PM News). In fact, Ribadu himself knows it that ACN can NEVER win (with or without rigging) election in the SS (Even Edo/Oshiomole support IBB), SE, NORTH,MIDDLE BELT and SW (with exception of Lagos). Infact the incumbent Governor of Kano state, malam Ibrahim Shekarau of ANPP have a brighter chance than Ribadu and his ACN jokers.
All in all, the PDP primaries will reveal the Next President of The Federal Republic of Nigeria!!! whatlyf: Rivers State Vote will go to IBB, GEJ is too clueless and a SW tool. He has done nothing for the SS since ascending to presidency. I would rather have an Igbo PRSIDENT come 2015 and 2023 (being 2 terms) than a GEJ president in 2011, if IBB sings the right tune, focuses on improving the southeastsouthsouth, I will deliver all of Okirika to him,
Even if i am a Niger-Deltan, i know my root and i have not forgot my brothers, Ndigbo all the way!!! whatlyf: I have always said it, and i still repeat that GEJ is not man enough to hold a leadersip position. He is simply a puppet in the hand of one old otta farmer.
We need MEN not BOYS as President, We need real president and not a ceremonial president. We need a leader who has experience. We need then man Alhaji Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida aka IBB whatlyf: Saraki is fronting for IBB. on the day of convention, he will duly step down and declare his support for IBB,all his delegates would vote for IBB, also for some other contenders. Note: Dr. Bukola Saraki is billed to take over his sister's seat in the senate, while his sister will succeed him in the Illorin Gov't house come May 29, 2011, whatlyf: IBB never shifted "all" the "blames" of his administration to the Supreme Military Council, He only said the decision to annul June 12 Presidential election was taken by the SMC, spot the difference, You pathetic MKO sympathizer, You guys have nothing against IBB, u are just ranting. Hate him or love him, he has LOTS of followers/supporters who believes in him. I hope he wins the PDP primaries, as this will authomatically win the Presidential Election whether by legal votes or by legal rigging. And there is absolutely nothing you or anyone can do about it. So live with it. |

Music/Radio › Re: Wizkid’s “ayo” Album Claims No1 Spot On Itunes by BlackPikiN(m): 2:02pm On Sep 21, 2014 |
20pounds: I don't think so. P square has gone to the dogs. Their last album was full of copy copy; they copied Eminado and other less known Nigerian artistes.
Wizkid has evolved with this his recent foray into the Afro-beat genre. The only problem is; he is not original and does not play any instrument(not to my knowledge). Afro-beat also entails pan-African disposition and wider outlook on life, instead of the bling bling culture he is used to.
Another reason the album is doing well is cos the internet world is controlled these days by youths his own age, whose understanding and appreciation of music is weird(any noise is welcome as long as it is from the artiste that live the kinda life, they desire). These youths can be found in the higher institutions and have all the time in their hands to surf the net.
P square on the other hand, sing for mature people. With their last album, they seem to have disconnected from their fan base. They are confused on whether to be a Davido or Wizkid! May be their quarrel had finally gotten to them cos they lack the synergy and energy of P square. The reason for all this is because p square don dominate una finish so tey na hatorade full your body? Tell me where they copied? Abeg Oga tell me how they disconnected with their fans? Is it with a tracks like Zombie( underground afrobeats with a consious msg) abi na sari sari, Ifeoma, being it on, collabo, ogadigide, no be joke, enemy solo, Ifeoma or Mms? Abeg tell me make I know. All this song wey I list get their target audience. You all need to know how this selection works. |

I have a load down of these naija youngsters but don't really have time to write about them here.
Goodluck to Isaac Success(Granada) watched his game last weekend, Emmanuel apeh and Alex ......(trials with inter Milan), Uche ikpeazu( watford), chubs akpom, dele Alli, Solanke, nwoko( 16, plays for the Maltese squad), and chuks Aneke, Kenneth Otigba.
We need a federation who can make this guys play for Nigeria. I know all can play for the country but we can pick out the good ones. I see no reason why Kenneth Otigba shouldn't be long time replacement for our defense. He's just too goo good especial for his age. |

Innovator90: Thanks Spyder880 for having nursed this very informative thread since 2012! So much wealth of information!
Kudos to Eagle Motors for setting up keke factory in Imo. As for the mower, I think any Igbo business man or industrialist can venture into that; doesn't have to be Innoson alone! We have thousands like Innoson...that's the beauty of being Igbos; we have no limitation!
I have been following this thread for a long time and would like to chime in. One thing I would like to see in SE is some collective regional development in addition to individual state development going on. It's great that Enugu is developing pretty fast but doesn't help the region when Anambra and Imo are slow in development, and Abia and Ebonyi are not yielding bare minimum. SE has more people with individual wealth in Nigeria and diaspora, and are also well connected globally. I would like to see all 5 states governors come together, create a Southeast Regional Development Commission(SRDC) or something of that nature. This commision will comprised of well educated and respected city planners, engineers, surveyors, scientists, doctors, economists, business men, entrepreneurs, industrialists and other technocrats at home and in diaspora. This commission will be responsible for directing, planning and development of SE region mega projects across state lines. I used the word "development" loosingly because their work is not really developing anything but to plan, direct and put in place economic blueprint and security for SE region...more like a think tank organization. Government, Individuals and Investors/corporations will do the development. This commission will design and plan the setting up of modern downtown in every state in SE...don't listen to the big lie that people from SW say that we don't have land, SE is very big enough for us. Lagos is the smallest state in the country, something you have never heard of is that almost half (40%) of Lagos total area is WATER...yes water is half of lagos land. And yet it houses 20 million people or more, and still have lots and lots of free land left for 200 yrs plus development. Sometimes I drive for 300 km non stop in Lagos and all I see is forest and free land. To the contrary, the smallest state in SE Anambra is one and half times of Lagos and only 10% or so is water...that leaves us with 90% of actual land, that's a lot, lots and lots of land for a population of only 4.5 million Anambrans. Lagos houses 20 million plus people, Igbo population in Nigeria is estimated at 30-35 million, 50-60 million worldwide, Anambra is 1 and 1/2 times of Lagos total land or 3 times of actual livable and developable land (minus water area); considering half of Lagos is water, do the math for Anambra land alone, adding other 4 SE states with more larger land area and tell me we don't have enough land. So please don't buy into this myth that you have no land...is a psychological war by people in SW to leave us discouraged. Same goes with the landlocked myth...SE is not and never landlocked.
Now back to SRDC task and mandate. Connecting every states in SE with good roads and flyovers where necessary, light rail across all states, siting of key industries, setting up plans to overhaul historic economic nerve centers...Aba, Onitsha, Nnewi, revamping moribund Enugu coal industry and other industries in the region, ensure that Ebonyi remains the food basket of SE and continue to export food to other states like their unique rice, draw out plan for a befitting, eye-popping SE regional capital in Enugu...Gov. Chime has done well. Partner with Igbo doctors in abroad to build world class medical center in the SE...we have the best of the brains in medical field, lobbying and lurying foreign corporations and industries to set up factories in SE and create jobs, give them free land and 5 yrs tax write off; SAB Miller in Onitsha is a prime example, ensuring that on-going Onitsha port, Abia seaport( Who says we are landlocked? Obuaku is more closer to the ocean than we know) or keep Ibaka seaport project going with our Akwa Ibom brothers, have research facilities led by diaspora and local engineers and scientists to prepare young minds in continuing Biafran invention spirit, law enforcement for the region, e.t.c. This commission has the sole mandate of economic security of the Igbos! Ohaneze has done a great job politically; crying out loud when they perceive marginalization of the Igbos in the political arena...has worked so well. Now is time to have something parallel to Ohanaeze but for ECONOMIC SECURITY OF THE SE in the name of SRDC or something similar. Igbos have the money, all they need is sincere, hardcore, zionist/jewish-type of spirit, honest, committed people to develop and engender the growth, development and security of the Igbos. Once SRDC has SE future economic blueprint out, trust me, you see hundreds Igbos in the North and West returning to invest. These people want to invest but are not sure of the economic viability of SE and lack of enablers as aforementioned.
Don't worry about the money for these projects with respect to government fund projects...we have money and have people who are well connected to world bank and IMF. If Gov. Willie Obiano can go to Abuja and raise 100 million naira in 24 hrs from fellow Anambra natives for drones and security of Anambra alone(https://www.nairaland.com/1831924/obiano-deploys-hi-tech-surveillance-drones), then Igbos around the world can raise more than 100 billion naira in 24 hrs for a collective regional development cause. Alternatively, If Okonjo Iweala, Charles Soludo and Oby Ezekweasili can champion the task to lobby the eradication of Nigeria national debt under Obasanjo and get almost all of our debts erased, they can also lobby the cause of the Igbos to secure $1billion every year for the next 10 yrs for these regional projects from IMF, world bank or other international banks particularly Okonjo and Oby as these two are entrenched in global banking. To pay back this loan, Each SE state can contribute 1-2 billion naira each year which is nothing out of 68 billion naira average yearly allocation for each SE states. Once these developments have matured....5-10 yrs, they can recoup these monies back in taxes, duties and fares from the use of the light rail system, toll ways, seaport, industry taxes and many more.
We Igbos are very successful and wealthy as individuals but lack good government, regional structure and enablers to harness our individual wealth to build an economic center of Africa. We can do it...He who pays the piper calls the tune! This is a near perfect idea. Is there a way to hold an annual 1-week summit for all igbo professionals (home and the diaspora) in Enugu or any other place in the SE, to deliberate and talk about the social and economic development in the SE? It should be headed, for a start by Soludo/Ezekwesili/Okonjo or someone who's a thorough bred professional. I'm not aware if such group exists for the SE region. |
