None ooo, abeg. I can't come and be looking like a monkey on the road. All those things are best eaten at home, where you can be as local as you like. |

TylerPerry: So, I deprived my two private students of every privilege a phone can offer since December. Having their parents cooperate with me was the best part....they had 294 and 336 respectively. The truth is: good preparation precedes fantastic results. Tell that to some parents, they'll frustrate such efforts with all forms of excuses and thus indirectly making our effort useless. Science is fun, know this and the rest is History. Sadly, not every child can afford teachers, especially teachers like us. That's why I'm more concerned about students who self read and did exceptionally well in the just concluded UTME, my thumbs up to you all. God bless Nigeria Like, sometimes I seriously blame the parents of these students. My brother got three hundred plus in JAMB, and yet the boy he was teaching got two fifteen. And the father said his son's score was very good. I just shook my head. |

I've always said that burial should be a little affair. Someone dying is not reason to eat and drink. Celebration of life is totally different. |
Family › Re: What's The Hardest Part Of Being A Man ? by BlackRainDrops: 8:18am On May 11, 2024 |
ChybuzzDD: So, which other major care should a man provide other than these??
If a man manages to provide everything he kids need, he's definitely caring for them.
If he fails to do these, you guys will still crucify him I'm not saying he shouldn't provide. Understand me; giving your children money is not your only responsibility. You should be there for them physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Money is good, great even, but it is not everything. |
Family › Re: What's The Hardest Part Of Being A Man ? by BlackRainDrops: 6:47pm On May 10, 2024 |
LiveWire85: Watching my father daily has made me realize that the hardest thing about being a man is the fact that nobody really cares about you, because they think you ought to be man enough to handle every jab life throws at you. You are allowed to show zero emotions and no weakness .you are only relevant and seen as man enough when you shoulder everything even if it kills you in silence.
I really pray God strengthens and comforts every good man out there. That's why we have to support them the best way we can. What you give is what you get, except in some special cases. If you care for your family as a man, they will surely care for you, too. Some men feel like throwing money at their children is enough. Parental care and buying every toy they want in a store is NOT the same thing. |

aguluobi: Bro leave all this clowns against the project.
It takes a visionary leader to drive a vision not a drunkard like Peter Pandora Obi.
I can not believe graduate can not comprehend the vision behind the coastal highway as basic as it is. Funny enough I sincerely believe they do but just chose to be mischievous because SW Lagos S& Tinubu Eko Atlantic will benefit massively from it that is why they chose to antagonize it. The question is: CAN NIGERIA AFFORD SUCH A PROJECT AT THIS TIME? |
Politics › Re: A Coastal Highway Of Misplaced Priority & Abuse Of Due Process - Premium Times by BlackRainDrops: 8:30am On May 06, 2024 |
benuejosh: South South people are so happy because of the coastal road that will be constructed and they have not hidden it, South West people are happy because the road will be constructed. The Northerners are not worried about it and have not said anything. But you see South East, they are very bitter because of that road. Why? A project that will take up to eight years to complete is hardly realistic. Why not complete the ones that have already been done half-way? |
