tpia.: unfortunately for you, sweetie, your bad belle colors everything you type on this site.
If they say go fix your village now, you'll claim you have no village.
yeah right. So according to your comment it is alright to build projects and on the other side misappropriate tax payers funds |

tpia.: I think you need a job before bad belle does you in. shut up - I have always said u were illogical - can you not see the number of questions that require an answer - I pay taxes so i should be able to hold the governor accountable . I refuse to be bamboozled by projects here and there when the grand scheme of corruption is taking place. |

Politics › Re: Assembly Sets Up C’ttee To Investigate Fashola by blacksta(m): 10:22am On Jan 30, 2010 |
felele: This is interesting. They should extend the probe to the Lekki-Epe Expressway concession, and the way it was granted. They should focus their attention on the companies operating the concession, especially Hi-Tech Sand-sand company, as well as the land holdings granted to companies and individuals connected directly or remotely to the LCC in the Lekki Corridor.
Special attention should be paid to Royal Garden Estate, Beechwood Estate and the 1500 hectare New Lagoon City project. If their investigation does not cover these pieces of choice real estate, all true sons and daughters of Lagos State should know then that the real face of the so called "true face of Lagos" is none other than the so-called toothless god-father of Lagos politics himself.
They must tell us also, how Alpha Beta Consulting came to be appointed a revenue consultant for Lagos State, and how come they are earning the stupendous amounts we are hearing of (last figure I heard was N1.7bn/month!!). They should also tell us who the individuals behind Alpha Beta are, and what they did before forming Alpha Beta, which apparently came to life at the advent of the first term of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Governor of Lagos State. Thanks all.
Finally, residents of Lagos must regard this as a clarion call to arms, for this presents us with an opportunity to finally confront the Evil Dragon of Bourdillon and his legions of demons in human skin, both in the civil service and politics, and hand them a final and comprehensive defeat. I concur - If Fashola is claiming to be open and transparent government i see you no reason why his government cant go all the way. If you are clean then you are clean. Their is no such thing as part clean and part dirty (you are still dirty). Lagosians are been bamboozled by projects are failing to use their brain to think. I refuse to be deceived by projects here and there. Please be advised that is the responsiblity of any credible government and does not require applause from the masses |

Politics › Re: Breaking News - Nigeria Court Backs Sick President Umaru Yar'adua by blacksta(m): 3:06pm On Jan 29, 2010 |
ndu_chucks: I completely disagree with you here. The court is absolutely correct in ruling that there was no constitution requirement for him to formally write to parliament, informing them he is on "medical vacation". Writing a formal letter to parliament informing them he is on vacation is the only event that will jumpstart the transferring of executive powers to Jonathan.
Our elders need to apply pressure on Yar'Adua to do the right thing - the time has come. Yar'Adua should stop toying with what the millitary may be forced to do. According the news and your comment - Their is absolutely no need for a vice president. cause the president can take a forever holiday without handing over to any one. |
