What is true Christianity without living it - Tunde Bakare Heaven backs you - Evil prevails when the righteous remain quiet . All this two faced Nigerians sef. One minute you are labelled docile, cowards and praying to much . Now you stand for your right they still complain.

Nigerians have been labelled docile, cowards, pray to much and all other manner of names but now they have finally come out united against a cause  - some idiots are still complaining  - Cant just get it --  This is definitely not the end but more like a start  - Majority of  the people who were at the events yesterday are part or would be joining a platform to participate in grass root changes.

The movement of change does not require many but a few who are dedicated , united against bad goverance.

PoliticsRe: Vp Jonathan's Life In Danger by blacksta(m): 10:35am On Jan 15, 2010
I am surprised at the current level of support for Jonathan  - The Media and people are making the guy look like a saint  - The fact still remains

1.  Jonathan is part of Yaradua
2.  Yaradua was  not elected but was imposed on the Nigeria
3.  Jonathan is a part of the evil plans of the PDP

I am rather happy at the present INfighting within the PDP( i hope it consumes all them) and could not give damn if Jonathan is giving a deadly cup of tea maybe then Nigeria can move forward.

I can now accept that " Nigerians do have a very short memory"

Emeka Offor:

If he were American or European, he would be on the Forbes list of the 400 richest people in the world. He estimates his net worth at three billion dollars ($3 billion), although a recent report obtained by Elendureports.com, puts his net worth at about six billion dollars ($6 billion).  This former "Julius Berger truck driver" claims to have been a former petty contractor until fortune smiled at him. He reportedly was given a nineteen million naira contract in 1983, and thus opened the gates to unimaginable wealth.

According to documents obtained by Elendureports.com, business tycoon Emeka Offor is being investigated by a branch of the American government. Another business mogul, Wahab Folawiyo, may also be under investigation. What do these two men have in common besides stupendous wealth? They are both friends of Pres. Olusegun Obasanjo. And they are both oil men.

Emeka Offor is one of the major financiers of the President's party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). In the last election cycle, he donated two hundred million naira to the Obasanjo re-election campaign. He is also reputed to have sponsored the former Governor Mbadinuju of Anambra State, some members of the National Assembly and Anambra State House of Assembly for elections in 1999. He allegedly parted ways with Gov. Mbadinuju because the Governor refused him unimpeded access to the State's Treasury. This parting with Offor led to Mbadinuju losing the nomination of his party for re-election in 2003.

metal-gong:
Most Nigerians are just silly and hypocritical elements. Whats wrong with raising funds for a campaign?
I bet you, if Soludo had decided to sponsor the campaign solely by himself, some idiots will say that he is now using the bribes he collected from the troubled banks CEOs. Most of you critics feign to reason like civilized individuals while forgetting that in a typical civilized society, electoral campaigns are mostly financed with the help of the candidates friends and well wishers.
I didn't see anything wrong with his campaign fund raising, although I'm a supporter of the incumbent governor. All we want is a free and fair election.
The problem here is not about raising funds but more to do with the people providing the funds . These people have questionable characters- The best investment one can to have today is donate funds to the ruling party and you are bound to reap major dividends at the expense of the masses

PoliticsNigeria Court Delays Sick President Yar'adua Cases by blacksta(op): 3:05pm On Jan 14, 2010
Nigerian judges have adjourned three cases aimed at clarifying who rules while ailing President Umaru Yar'Adua is in hospital in Saudi Arabia.
Government critics say the president acted illegally when he failed to hand power formally to his vice-president - sparking four legal challenges.
A court ruling on Wednesday backed the government, saying the constitution did not require such transfer.
Two adjourned cases will be heard next week, the other has no fixed date.
Mr Yar'Adua has been receiving treatment for a heart condition since late November.
His prolonged absence led to rumours that he was brain damaged or even dead.
'Meaningless' ruling
The BBC's Caroline Duffield in Abuja says even senior cabinet ministers seemed to be mystified, openly admitting they did not know when he would return.

YAR'ADUA ILLNESS TIMELINE
23 November 2009: Goes to hospital in Saudi Arabia
26 November 2009: Presidential doctors say he has pericarditis - inflammation of the heart lining
23 December 2009: First court case filed called him to step down
30 December 2009: Chief justice sworn in. Lawyers say this is illegal in president's absence
5 January 2010: Two more court cases filed and a human rights group wants president declared "missing"
12 January 2010: President gives first interview since going to Saudi Arabia

Nigeria's leader breaks silence
Yar'Adua's absence still rankles
Profile: President Umaru Yar'Adua
She says Nigerians are watching the court cases very closely after all the uncertainty and political anxiety of recent weeks.
Analysts said Wednesday's ruling by Judge Dan Abutu appeared to preserve the status quo - that Vice-President Goodluck Jonathan was in charge, but could not be regarded as official head of state.
But human rights lawyer and opposition activist Femi Falana, who is bringing one of Thursday's cases, dismissed the ruling as "meaningless".
"Jonathan cannot act for Yar'Adua because no functions have been formally and directly delegated to him by Yar'Adua," the AFP news agency quoted him as saying.
Mr Falana is asking the court to annul all decisions taken by the cabinet during the president's absence.
But during a short hearing at Abuja's Federal Court he argued that Judge Abutu could not rule in his case because Wednesday's case was so similar.
Judge Abutu passed the case to another judge, but a date for the next hearing was not set.
In another of Thursday's cases, the Nigerian Bar Association is demanding that power is handed over formally to Mr Jonathan.
That case was adjourned until 21 January.
While a third case, in which a rights group wants Mr Yar'Adua declared "missing", was adjourned until 22 January.
No reason was given for the adjournments.
Mr Yar'Adua has not been seen in public since he was taken to hospital in November, but he gave an interview to the BBC on Tuesday saying he was recovering and hoped to be able to resume his duties.
Doctors say he is suffering from acute pericarditis - inflammation of the lining of the heart.
He also has a long-standing kidney complaint.

N2billion been donated to soludo does not mean he must/will a corrupt leader. Soludo is good in doing what he's good in doing. It's that PDP has the money, perhaps they(pdp) want anambra  by all means because some of their prominent or founding fathers are from this state,so they intend making our "our dear state" their own. Requiring visas to go visiting your in-laws. If you don't like them, you can at least claim you were denied a visa.

On a serious note; those agitating for a new state are the corrupt leaders who no longer have any relevance in Nigeria and think that they will have some relevance in a Yoruba state.
