Mine is the 2008 v8 Limited (full option). You could get a V6 which would be more efficient with fuel consumption (I love the sound of the V8 and more torque)
The 4th gen 4runners(2003-2009) also have V6 engines. Its only the limited editions that have v8 engines.

Dude, go for a 4runner. I have a gx460, Audi Q7, a camry and corolla. My 4runner is more reliable and efficient than all these combined. A 4runner shouldn't be sold it should be worshipped. wink

Nice view point but you seem quite vile. Most companies in Nigeria would rather pay 40% tax and have these services provided for them i.e security, good roads, power, water etc. It saves any business owner the mental strain of having to deal with these. All that business owners are asking for is that the govt provides the enabling environment. Everyone deserves a good wage and 15k is not a good wage by any stretch but that was not my point. With an enabling environment there are more employment opportunities and more goods in circulation to counter inflation. I reiterate that a country that is open for business only 10 hours a day or less( i.e that has not provided the enabling environment like power, water, security etc for businesses that want to stay open longer) would never beat inflation.

You were quick to point out the good sides to saner climes, but you also didn't put the fact that they pay almost 40-45% Tax but you here in Nigeria is having tax holidays and bribing tax officials or not pay tax at all.
They also pay VAT on products of most times 19% and you here pay 7.5%,that is if at all you even pay.
And they do all these payment in hard currency ,so dir all this your diesel talk.
That labour that you want round the clock,do you know they pay factory workers in the west $12/hr and probably you are paying yours 15k a month?
Your only rational explanation/excuse should be economies of scale, not here chanting diesel for generator and security like say electricity and security(paid for via high tax rate) they in the west are paying for is free. undecided

I am in the manufacturing sector and I can assure you that no company wants to price itself out of the market whether big or small brands. It is very expensive running a manufacturing/production company in Nigeria. Every amenity e.g power, water, roads, security etc is provided by you. Moving goods across the country is a logistical nightmare. A simple example is this, in saner climes due to availability of power and security, staff of a manufacturing firm can do two shifts (7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am) without any fear of insecurity, cost of running generator, access to transport to and from work, etc. This firm gets more goods produced and pushed into the market therefore no scarcity. Their running costs are reduced because most fixed costs like rent, insurance, salaries etc are the same if your production is on for 12 hours or 24 hours in view of cost and sales ratio. In this country 80 percent of the businesses close by 5pm. No business owner wants to run on generator 24/7, no business owner wants to risk the lives of their staff by closing late even with increased pay or having morning and night shifts cause of insecurity. As a country we cannot beat inflation with an economy that shuts down by 8pm and starts again by 9am. That is 12 hours wasted in a day. Six months in a year. That is time that could be productive if the government is serious and puts things in place to an enabling environment for manufacturing/production companies to create maximum output. So please don't blame the companies like I said earlier, 'no company wants to price itself out of the market'. Apologies for the epistle.

Thats the problem with this 'grace of God' bullshit. It's best to know and understand what brought about the success you had in your business and continue that line or improve it. Thats a better analysis than 'grace of god'.

So it z police dt made him to b aggressive during a week siege to his house and suddenly to become sick wen he was arrested?
There was are legal procedures for all these. A search warrant from the court gives the police the authority to break into his house and whisk him off immediately. Arraign him and leave it to the court to determine if he is fit to stand trial. Why are they taking him to the hospital. Let the court decide if he is well. My problem is the foot dragging by the police which is now getting things complicated.

Please, there is no cause for this pointless hysteria. Dino will be put out of his misery soon enough. Just be patient.
All I am saying is that they should deal with his matter swiftly. All this prolonged drama is beginning to make things look like we are in a Banana Republic.

This is a national disgrace. We should speak out against such blatant abuse of power. The office which Dino holds should be respected and the tattered dignity this country has should be saved. If he has committed a crime arraign and imprison him. Or if they want to frame him then do it with some finesse. All these open handed intimidation must stop for the good of our nascent democracy. This road we are going is one that would consume us all.
Career / Re: How Lucrative Is The Legal Profession? by blaksril(m): 4:39pm On Dec 10, 2018
It's very lucrative. Carve out a niche for yourself. Most preferably in corporate/finance law. Certifications can help but you've got to break your bones by producing quality work. Let your work speak for itself. One deal in corporate law is wink and there loads of them. Just build up your experience (I didnt say certification) so you can put out quality work.

Please read my comment again and see where i stated "adjusted for inflation". That is criteria for of " all time". Black Panther is not the 9th grossing of all time. Its nowhere.
MobileGees:

So a movie that reached no 9 top grossing movie of all time is "no where". You think say he easy to get to that stage

Check again!
Please lets not be beguiled by sentiment Black Panther is number 9 on the top grossing movies which is a worthy achievement. But in true terms of top grossing what is used is "adjusted for inflation" i.e where the amount the movie grossed at that time when converted to present value is ascertained. This is where you find "gross smashers" like Gone with the wind, Jaws, Sound of Music etc. Black Panther is nowhere.

It's so amazing the ignorance of some pple on this thread about the far reaching negative consequences of this barbaric agitation. I own Palm oil mills and other agro allied businesses in east and I can for one assure you that busineses are grinding to a halt in this region because of this agitation. Hate it or not the truth is that the north is the biggest consumer of eastern produce. We are highly industrious people, risk takers with extreme doggedness. But you don't throwaway the baby with the bath water. We have come so far as a people since the civil war, let us sit and have 100 or 200 year strategy for the igbo race within this great country. No ethnic group has fought a civil war and lost yet has risen to were the igbos are in this country. Rome was not build in a day.

Dude, that's mean. I doubt you run your own enterprise. The richest men in the world are salary earners, their companies have structure and that includes the salary of the C.E.O/Founder. I run three businesses and I am a salary earner in my companies. When you see something great endeavor to give it the props it deserves.
