As far as I know, this school feeding program is something which is being implemented in over 20 states across all the different zones of the federation (not just the SE) and like every other thing done in Nigeria, the implementation isn't anywhere close to perfect. Ordinarily this school feeding thing shouldnt be news, but the way some individuals specifically from the SE on this forum keep expressing bitterness and anxiety over the program just leaves one amazed at what hatred can do to the minds of people.

Talking about hunger, whilst poverty is far more prevalent in some zones of the country than others, the fact is that every single corner of the country has poor and hungry people who would actually benefit and deeply appreciate little initiatives like this (irrespective of how imperfect its implementation might be).
