It shouldn't be a problem. If you'll be using a family member's address on your form, you should have declared that family member on your application to avoid stories that touch.
If it's an AirBnB or a rented apartment, it's no problem because it's understandable that being new to the UK, you wouldn't have made firm arrangements at the point of your application submission.

1. Does your course require it? Is it stated on your BRP that you need a police clearance certificate? If no, then you don't need it.

2. Depends on who attends to you; you might or might not be quizzed. Basic questions should be around where you will be staying / heading to and around your school. Further questions will depend on your answers to the first set of questions.

Hello fellow Nairalanders,

just to ask, for a family ,is it adviseable after getting the visa, for the main applicant (student) to go first while the family comes later, maybe in a month or two . Hope they wont be issues for the dependants when they are coming later.

You can include them on your spouse's application too except your spouse normally contributes nothing financially to the kids upkeep.
