We will protect our votes. Any party thinking they will rig the election and ask the real winners to go to court, risk presiding over a lawless country. People are really frustated and consider the forthcoming election as an opportunity to reclaim the country back for the majority. The bourgeoise believe they are more entitled than the rest of us to Nigeria. Things have changed o! What is happening in Sri Lanka will be a child's play. No to rigging in 2023. Our Mumu don do. |
On Petobi we stand 2023. |
Ratuk:I see that alot of people are not willing to endure a temporary inconvenience of waiting in the sun for a leader with a comprehensive plan but instead willing to complain for another 8 years of clueless governance. I won't find myself in such scope. |
This is so pleasing to the eyes and please organise a trade fairvof pepper soups to give us opportunity to pay and attend. With drinks to go with it. Maybe major Nigerian cities will make sense. Put a decent gate fees and music in the background. |
Congratulations to you Rita and Anosike. Best wishes to you on your union. You have had us glued to our televiision for so long, may the joy you bring overflow in your home aswell. |
Wow! Domkat Bali a general's general. Rest in peace. |
This year 2020 is an unusual year sha. Sacrifices are to be made in both sides. The children are the ones receiving the brunt of decisions made by adults. Under no circumstance should the lives of our young people be affected badly. I urge the school management to reconsider and reach an amicable settlement with the teachers. Considering they have served diligently all these years without agitations. Some of these teachers are responsible for a whole lot of people as well. Its important to consider that desperation can further affect the current shaky situation in our society. Progress is what we need. |
Please what do government do with all this generated revenue? To turn around and embezzle sam funds by bare faced criminals acting on behalf of our common wealth. I think the current system is gradually pushing the masses to a point of revolt against this system. What happened in Sudan two years back to Al Bashir- a very sit thight leader is not difficult to come to mind. You can't continue embezzling monies without accountability and expect people to part with their hard earned resources for nothing. Some of us are government on their own in places where we live currently in Abuja in this 2020. We provide our road, borehole, vigilante, generator for power.....haba! What is the benefits of paying these taxes abeg.

|
Too much activities means that we cannot be sure social distancing rules are observed. |
Honestly, keeping curfew is like starting a rat race. The rush to beat the curfew will be so much to defeat the aim of social distancing. Let everyone go home when they want to go home jare. Besides, some states who lift lockdown at a certain day of the week also encourage this mad rush to get things done in a hurry by the citizens. Best approach is to provide testing kits and proper tracking for anyone who has been in touch with index cars.

|
In all these, no one is remembering those folks who count on daily income to survive. Atleast those who do have job know where they will return to after the lockdown. I am seriously concerned that it may hurt alot of people who depend on those people in those cities for their survival. Let's not forget that so many of those labourers hurriedly left the city when the lockdown was declared. I think before things start to normalize it will take months at the least.

|
We are really in uncertain times these days since the index case of covid-19 was announced sometime in February. What I really don't understand is the reason given for non disclosure of names of those already down with the virus. Seriously, I assume that if the identity of those with the virus is public knowledge, it will be a way of slowing down its spread. Afterall, people can immediately know if they have come in contact with the person and quarantine themselves or approach NCDC for proper testing. Besides, I don't think it helps the society by non disclosure. There is more harm done when people with the virus mingle freely with other citizens. Hopefully, someone will see the need to change that policy soon. Till today, I still don't know the name of the Italian who is the index case in Nigeria. |
What are they gonna do with the planned tax increase of Vat? Roundtripping? Gather enough money to be used for financing next general election? Or to continue the embezzlement of public funds without remorse? Until we are ready to tell ourselves the truth in this country, we wont move forward. You cant keep doing the same thing since independence and expect a different result. Some people of privilege in authority think when they embezzle public funds they are securing their families and themselves from attacks. What they fail to realize is that the vice you refuse to take today will eventually haunt you. There were times in the past when travelling with security detail was enough, but is it the same recently in Nigeria? Everyone is beginning to feel the heat. We can't continue this way as a nation. People need reassurance that they can be able to conduct their business across Nigeria without fear or uncertainty. Some |
This is so remarkable and gladens my heart that selfless people will go to great length to impart a life. This is truly amazing. |
