Agreed Wike is power driven. This is the portion of every career politician. If you are out of power you are out of reckoning. There is nothing wrong with that. No one knows this man again because he is no longer a member of RVHA.
The height of this Man lies is that Rumuepirikom has no road. All roads including internal roads in Rumuepirikom are tarred. This can be verified.
Wike won 2015 election because of the anti-Amaechi sentiment. Most Rivers people wanted to vote Jonathan presidency and Dakuku governor. However, when Jonathan lost the equation changed. It was a protest vote on Amaechi. This repeated itself in 2019. Wike might be anything but he won the two times he contested.

It has even lingered for too long. But better late than never.

The sanitation of the FCT was inevitable. It's unfortunate after Obasanjo's administration, we saw mostly mediocre FCT ministers.

Most of these shanties are sited in the heart of the FCT furthermore, on people's lands, most times leading to unnecessary land disputes, poor hygienic conditions, criminal hideouts and most importantly, retards the development of the FCT.

I believe there was adequate notification period before this exercise. The Country is quite hard for most Nigerians, but sanity and development must be sustained.
It's the responsibility of the government to prioritize affordable housing schemes for citizens, and very importantly, eschew corruption so it succeeds.

In addition, strict punitive measures should be put in place for corrupt officials in land administrative agencies such as AGIS, and in Development Control.
