At that time Zik felt betrayed because that wasn't his plans with Ojukwu and Zik have to abandoned him and went to exile in UK and the rest is history.Before you blame Zik, did your fathers ever protested that they do not want to belong to Nigeria before Nigeria got her independence and Zik insisted they must remain in Nigeria? Every Igbo man then was pro united Nigeria from Ojukwu who ignored his father's advise and joined military in order to serve Nigeria to Nzeogwu and to all our political leaders until the Northern counter coup happened.My point is that before that coup ndi Igbo were very happy being part of Nigeria so why blame Zik?
Ojukwu and Gowon mismanaged the crisis and sent us to war they deserve the blame for Nigeria problems more than anyone else.

The Biafra war set ndi Igbo backwards and I do not think it was Zik's fault.
