God has made my family smile again.

After 7hrs of active augumented labour, my bundle of joy, my "bababatunde", the one that came to console my family on the death of my father; baby Dominique Iwinosa,Owie has finally landed at abt 5:05pm 30/6/2016.

Thank you mamas for ur word of prayers. May God raise people to meet you at the point of your needs. Amen!

I still sneak my phone in to charge too, for night shift there's no close monitoring so we still get to use our phones.

@Sugah, I'm team PINK , have 3 different Edd's so far, it keeps changing with every scan I do but based on lmp and scan at 12weeks its sept 26th

Congrats on team pink, u wouldn't want to knw d number of Edd's I av. I av done 5 diff scans with 4 diff Edds and none correspond with Lmp's own. All I ask frm God is for me to give birth once I reach 38wks seriously anxious to see my Lo.

Pls mamas, pray for me. I went for ANC and my baby's heartbeat wasn't felt at all. After some time, the doctor checked and got very fast heartbeat. Now I've been admitted and they wanna induce d delivery process. Dem don put something inside my jajaina and all I feel is cramp. I'm 37 weeks.

For my organisation. U don't have to tell them cos it has no effect.
U wee still do ya night till 24weeks.

But I told my direct boss at 12weeks she.
We have 15days annual leave and 12weeks paid maternity leave..

What is expected is scan showing you are 24weeks to pull u out of night shift.
Then maternity leave at notification at one month to go.
Lucky me. My annual leave still has 12days so na to first enjoy am before I apply for maternity.

Why don't u ask someone in administration @olaoyekemi?

We work all d shifts till 27weeks in my place too bt it depend on d direct team lead,
I had to use ogboju for mine coz of my previous experience, lost my last pregnancy after night shift.
My annual leave ll be 15days when I am ready so dat's wat I ll use first before deh start taking frm my maternity leave.

@ olaoyekemi, it depend on d organization, I had to tell my ogas immediately I got my Bfp coz we work shift and night is inclusive, so I was placed on morning shift only. For maternity leave there is no laid down rules deh start marking frm once u give birth except one apply b4 giving birth. For me am trying to accumulate my annual leave so I ll use to dat to relax first before using mat leave.

Blessedmum, I didn't like the white naming outfits I was seeing for boys in the market too, 'fishy' looking things, some of them were even made with satin. My daughter wore a cream dress with headband for her own and it was nice. For this baby, I eventually got a simple white cotton romper that came with a cap. Even then, I intend to change him into a top and denim dungarees once we are done with the main ceremony.

D one I saw was also made with satin and u need to see d price, if I buy it am sure I won't wear it for Lo again after naming. I ll take my time and look for nice wears for him to wear.

Mum Zaynie and Proudmom38 don make me overcrack my ribs here, even Lo is joining in d laughter.
