Have finally come to announce my BFP.. for two solid years I was ttc all to no avail.I cried, so frustrated but God finally wiped my tears.. have also gone for the scan (tvs)and dey saw my LO. God is too faithful to fail.!! And dis shall be each and anyone of us experience in Jesus name.. Amen!

On what I did differently I used,.. I did hsg October last year. Immediately after it I started seeing my ovulation for the first time in 2years. I also was having recurrent staph and candida infection.. I used clean point tampon, went for test and no candida was seen. A pharm friend advised me abt foreva living product(she says it cleanses the syst. Of infection. )have even finished the foreva gel, was on the echinacea and garlic wen I noticed I missed my period... anoda most important tin is dat I ensured I i put all my pregnant friends in prayers. I also continued speaking to my womb...

Sprinkling baby dust to my fruitful mama's... Dis is our year! Oh yes!

Have been waiting to hear dis news since, congrats darling we ll all carry to term and deliver healthy children ijn.

For some reason I assumed preeclampsia was only associated with obese women (I don't even know why I thought that) but I have just read about it and im wowed. 1 more thing to pray against.

I have finally done th cercelage last week Wednesday. I was giving Erotromacyin and Flagyl after the procedure.

Please I keep having this feeling that some thing is Wrong with d baby I don't know. It just seems as if I shld b doin U/S every week Infact if not every day. I am just being paranoid. May be because I have lost one.

I don't just know what to do. This is my first pregnancy. I hv been TTC for 4 years. I am I my 12th week.

You are not the only one dear, am just 9weeks and av done two scan would av gone for another one today if not for hubby who prevented me, am always on d alert bt av resolved dat I won't be paranoid again, av decided to enjoy every bit of my pregnancy and am certain dis one is my miracle baby. Ttc for 4years too.

Congrats missade, wishing u a healthy 9 months, ur joy shall be permanent.
Let me also congratulate in advance other mamas in their 2weeks wait, it ll end in praise for u all.

when using pregnacare,i don't think u need extraa folic acid,except maybe u are carrying multiples

Usually, docs give you folic acid, fesolate, calcium and bcomplex immediately you're confirmed pregnant or they let you take pregnacare that contains folic acid. But since you're on progesterone supplement, maybe that is why he's giving you just folic acid rather than adding the others.
You can decide to take your pregnacare after the 12weeks mark. For now, i suggest you load up your system with iron-rich foods and lots of veggies. Happy bumping dear

It depends on how much folic acid it contains, if it isnt up to the daily recommended dosage, you may still need your folic acid

Gud evening evry1, plz I av a question as regards dis pregnancy supplements .i havent started antenatal coz my preggy is still 9weeks, was waiting for d general 12 weeks ppl wait b4 registering, however av been seeing gynae and drug he gave me for now is progesterone supplement and folic acid which av been taking religiously. Hope am nt part of those who ll take d E-slap? In my last pregnancy I bought pregnantcare I only took one b4 I lost d preggy and it hasnt expired yet, av wanted to take it since bt scared coz of my last experience, now am ready to break dat barrier I want to take it so I want to knw if it's advisable to take my folic acid with it or stop it since pregnant care contains folic acid as well? Abeg make una no ignore my question o coz I asked abt wat I could do abt catarrh nobody responded bt thank God it has gone on it's own.

@Blessedmum, I tink I'm more dan perfect to answer u on constipation issues. Omo! I swim inside constipation 4 d whole first trimester. Hmmm I hated my lyf, alfred of eating, hate nights since it was diff 4 me to sleep, restless real bad, Hmmm I hav 4gotten oda discomfort I had. I complained to my gynea n he said I shud eat more fruits 4 were it was all story story. He also asked me to try changing my prenatal drugs to see which one suits me, na so I completely drop all my drugs ooo bt it wasn't d solution either. Later, a frnd suggested I drink warm Liquid milk every night as at den I was in my early second trimester n constipation bcame story. Wat I'm trying to say is, constipation is a first pregnancy package bt try drinking warm milk at night n see if it will help in digestion. Kpele dear, it wil end soon.

@funmz, I will suggest teaching jobs 4 nw. Although d pay is nt very much bt it depends on ur location n d schl 2. Or go into selling okrika cloths. My 2cent though.

Gud evening mamas, a big congrats to those who just delivered and d newbies in d house.Please I need sabi mamas help, av been battling with constipation and yesterday was worst than every other days to d extent dat I couldn't sleep, tried going to d toilet bt poo refused to come(I poo in d morning though) I had to vomit b4 I was relieved a little. Dunno wat to use, I dont joke with fruit at all and I drink plenty water as well. Now catarrh has joined MS. Please what do u suggest I do concerning dis two issues?

If ovulation cycle goes with cervical mucus if ure dry all through it means ure not fertile .

I ll like to tell u dat in my last cycle I didn't see any cervical mucus and I was able to get pregnant. Some women are able to get pregnant without seeing it and that doesn't mean dat deh dont ovulate,it's jst dat it wasn't visible. Plz stop derailing d thread and take ur knowledge somewhere else.

Dear mamas, pls is it possible to start showing at 9wks? Cos everyone seems to know I am pregnant but in my last pregnancy even at 21 wks my colleagues did not know I was pregnant.

I eat breakfast BTW 9 and 10 but by 1pm I am practically shaking with hunger.

D funny thing is I do av pains like u too and eventually wen I carry out scan we find nothing, it might just be psychological.

Good day house..following frm a lower abdominal pain i felt few days ago,went to d hosp n did a pelvic scan today .was supposed to see d doc but cldnt cos i had to rush to see a customer, can anyone interpret ds?though all is well from a lay man's sught but don't understand some grammar.here is d result... The uterus is non gravid,anteverted and measures 8.05×3.01×4.19cm in dimension. Uterine outline is smooth and regular,myometrial echoes are normal and endometial plate is distinct. The ovaries are normal in size (RT:3.85×2.29cm;LT:3.30×2.45cm) and echogenicity.the pouch of Douglas is free
The urinary bladder is normal in content and wall thickness
Conclusion: essentially normal study

Ur scan result is okay, there is no infection.

@ Cheerychy, It was God at work. It took us 4yrs to get d perfect result, we started frm count of 7ml with 30% normal morphology and 10% active motility and now it has increased to like 73ml with 60% normal morphology and motility increased greatly too, dat was when I took in for dis pregnancy. A friend introduced us to Fertilsan and it was within a month of using it dat we got d change.

@ CheeryChy, God is in control. In my own case I did evacuation coz it happened in my 12th week and scan was showing empty gestational sac and d blood was jst coming out bit by bit. Just like ur gynae friend suggested u can carry out scan first. Sperm and egg quality do contribute to blighted ovum(not in all cases) however dat doesn't mean ur next pregnancy ll end d same way. In our own case hubby's Sfa was so poor, low count,motility and morphology. But everything is in d past now,it has improved tremendously and I carry a viable pregnancy.
