Am very well my cappo! Na time zone difference things . My baby gender is XX. Counting down to November at this rate cos am awfully tired as sleeping is now a herculean task.

My angel arrived in the early hours of the 5th of September 2019. EDD according to scan at 20weeks was 8th sep.(i didn't know my lmp).
Actually,am not sure of the reason i didn't identify with my team,its either i forgot to submit the post i typed or i submitted it nd my team refused to identify wtme. But that didnt stop me from learning from the thread sa.

This pregnancy was very different from my first,infact i had the opposite of every symptoms of my first. From excessive eating to serious laziness and big tummy,but i bless God it ended in praise.
From about 36 weeks i was already very tired of being pregnant,and i only tried to wait till 37weeks bfr i started doing tns to induce labor . i walked,danced, climbed stair case,did kpekus,drank castor oil but DS baby no gree show.
So i just decided to wait. 5th of september was my antenatal day and i was deteemined to drink another castor oil bfr going to see whether labor will start while am at d hospital but as God will have it i didn't get to drink it.
At about 1 am my son woke me to drink tea,i was in d middle of attending to him wen i felt a tap down my tummy,and something like a discharge followed.so i went to d bathroom to clean up but i strted feeling drops of water instead. That was how i started leaking water o,i woke hubby nd we started contemplating on how to get to d hospital at dt time cos we dont have a car. At that time contraction had not started so we just waited.contraction started at past 2 and i endured d pain till around 3.at around 3,i cldnt hold d pain anymore so i told hubby to start trying for uber and luckily for us we got a ride.
The ride took us about 40min and i went to heaven nd came back with crazy pain.
When we eventually got to d hospital and checked i was already fully dilated. And within another 30min my daughter was out weighing 2.95 without tear.
The relief i got afterwards was heavenly and i cldnt thank God enough for making d labor very brief.
I pray for all remaining preggy mamas ,safe and swift delivery is ur portion ijn.
As for me,am out for gud o.

As seen ehhh for 2 days now, haba, its too much na!! She isnt the most stubborn or difficult person here na. Let her get off people's faces. Madam zaynie and other experienced mothers penned down lovely pieces for our enlightenment and that even got me shivering to my bones yet she comes out this morning with another stupid post. There are so many bitter experiences i have recently heard or known about concerning pregnancy complications and infant mortality that has kept me on my toes of late.

Good day wonderful mothers.pls mothers is it safe to travel a 24hrs at 34 weeks pregnancy? Like the trii is 24hrs journey with just an 1 stop over...to me I don’t think it’s safe but want others opinion kindly help me out

Confirm from the dr and airline. I think for high risk pregnancy and multiples it is recommended to travel around 30 weeks or earlier. 34 weeks is the maximum by most airlines. But if your bump is way too big they disregard your dr's fit to fly. I was also told by a colleague that some airlines measure the bump size to ensure one fit the seat area with some allowance. When in the aircraft, be sure to stay hydrated and use compression socks to prevent excessive feet swelling and inproved blood circulation. Choose a seat by the aisle so u can take walks from time to time.

Fine November mamas.... who else don get belle for their eyes, nose and mouth My fine oblong face has turned round like an orange. My pointed nose is now wide, my eyes no dey open full again.... lol. I have been feeling sexy until I took a picture today..
chai.... and this man has been consoling me that my face still looks same.

This got me laughing real hard. My dear same with me every part of the body ( face, neck, buttocks, breasts) are now so round and big. My feet have grown bigger , cant wear my old shoes anymore so i just settled for flat sandals. Just like urs, he keeps saying i haven't changed that i still look very fine and i just yimmu him.

So I started my leave on the 23rd cos I was already feeling too tired to wake up early. EDD was 2nd August 2019, in my mind i have more than a week.
On the 24th being yesterday around 4:30am I started feeling cramps. I tried sleeping back, no way! So I felt like peeing and I went to the bathroom and wiped after using and saw that the colour of discharge has changed to brownish, that's how I called hubby to bring my bags that we are going to the hospital. He was like what? why? with sleepy eyes. It's not even 2nd yet! I said me sef don't understand cos I passed my due date by 1day for my first so na that mind I still carry somehow.
So we left the house and got to the hospital around past 5am. My daughter went with us and I had to carry her on top contraction while we wait for the doctor to check me. Motherhood ain't easy!
So they brought out my folder and doctor asked all those their questions. Only for one fat nurse with fat fingers to say she wants to check how many cm gone. Chai! I said my own don bi! As she inserted her finger eh I felt so weak only for her to say madam you are just 2cm. The doctor came to check and he said 3cm and nurse said no it's 2cm that his hand is too slim and tiny. I felt weaker and said na una sabi for my mind. Sha give me bed make I lie down.

I got to the room prepared for me and just jumped straight to the bed as I was already tired from the bom bom pain. The doctor still came up to meet me and asked, why am I shouting my bom bom, my bom bom when contraction hits me? And I told him, that's because the pain is in my bom bom and not my abdomen. Only for him to say he has never heard of such. Well, there is a first time!

In short every 15mins I kept ringing the bell for the nurses. I told them to give paracetamol but they bluntly refused. It was so annoying. I remembered the last time I requested for paracetamol and the nurse was closed to me as soon as she said no, while the contraction hit i held her hands and squeezed it. Let her feel my pain too!

So around 8am, I rang for the nurse to come check how far gone, and she said she cannot, that there are timings. That I still have a long way to go. That by 3pm I should have been closer to giving birth and she left. I waited for a few minutes, rang for them again and none of them showed up. So I stood up and went to meet them myself. On my way, a thick blob of blood fell and I told them the pain is much that they should just check. So the matron took me to the delivery room and said let's just check and told a nurse to do it and she said I was 7cm gone and they were like not possible. The matron had to check herself and said its true. She then told the nurse to burst my water. So like 10 minutes later I told them something is pushing me and they said don't push that its not yet time. Na so the 6 other nurses in the delivery room was just staring in disbelieve. I repeated it again and they said not yet. Anyways, na so I open leg, all for one of the nurse to shout see baby's head.
So she said wait and rubbed olive oil on her hands and told me to finally push, I did gladly! And in 3pushes my princess came out and 3coughs placenta came out.

The doctor came up to check how far gone in cm and saw my baby and said, wow! Baby is here?
The nurses was like this is a miracle. Of course, it is! I serve a living God and not one dead one.
God is good to me! I give all glory to God! God alone be praised! Hallelujah!

@cappo jeniluv, i think i will wait till early next month for another scan. And yes my bump is enormous, so i wasnt surprised when i was told baby measured over 21 weeks during my 20 weeks anomaly scan when the gender was also revealed.
@ruthiegal, thanks so much for sharing i guess i have to accept it if another scan gives the same gender.

To all mamas and my November teamies particularly, keep waddling strong, the lord will see us through to the end. Amen!!!

Cappo jeniluv, i sight you. How are you waddling?? November teamies, hope you are all enjoying the kicks now I get so fascinated by this beautiful experience it can only be God.
Meanwhile experienced mamas pls how accurate is gender scan at 20 weeks, i was told my precious little one is a girl but for reasons i cant explain i still strongly believe baby is a boy. Pls dont ask me the reasons for my strong conviction cos its truly funny, lol.
Fellow November team members, do u already know your baby's gender??
Please experienced mamas throw more light on accuracy of gender prediction.

I havent decided on the state yet owing to the recent trend of visa rejection by the US consulate targeted at those who birthed in the US of which alot of my friends were affected most especially those who used hospitals in houston, texas. My initial plan was Houston or dallas but most hospitals(oakbend, west houston) in Houston and dallas have been red flagged, so am still uncertain.

Thanks cappo!! It eventually stopped when i laid down to rest as soon as i got home. The seat in the office is way too hard for my buttocks and i also think the pencil heels i wore contributed just as nurse kaffy mentioned.

Mamas pls is it normal to have lower back sharp pains on the left side (just above my buttocks)?? I am just 18 weeks gone and a FTM.

BS conclusion:
I was praying through each contraction, confessing God's promises. When the contraction was consistent, I told hubby to carry bag to head to hospital. Just then, mil, who was a retired midwife came in. While I was being helped to the door, water broke and I was having urge to push and feeling something between. I was returned back to bed, hubby called doctor and a nurse was sent. (hospital was 10 minutes drive away).
Mil took the delivery before nurse came.
Baby came out at past 9am after a push. Baby weighed 3.5 with no tear. While I didnt have any s*x during this pregnancy, God made a way.
I bless God for this blessing. I was calculating this labour by my previous birth that lasted 36hours but God made this easy for me..

May God visit gtc mothers and easy delivery to everyone.

Shoutout to March2018 and August2018 teams. The Lord has wiped away my tears.

Team June, we are mouthed! Easy delivery to the rest teamies.

I am coming for the full gist, but please a quick one, I have a new addition to my family about three weeks ago, so I informed CPC otttawa through the CSE I raised earlier. But to my surprise, their response came with a PPR message yesterday morning, while asking me to submit my baby’s birth certificate for her own application.
Later last night I discovered that my profile has been opened and they have sent the details of what I need to upload for her own application to be added.
Good for us, we have done her international passport, birth cert and medicals. All documents are reading for uploading.
However, I am a lil bit confused, should we still go ahead to our passport including our new baby’s own as demanded by the PPR letter. The letter states that all passport must be submitted on or before May 1st.
Happy people in the house, please kindly assist with evidence based information to guide us through this stage@ifeoma, joo2018, newmum etc etc

Congratulations to you and your family. Please can u help allay my fears/concerns so i get armed with appropriate information . Considering your baby was born in april implying you did medicals when baby was about 2 months of gestational age. Please how did your spouse get chest xray done?? Did the panel physician wave it?? Are there safer techniques employed for pregnant women??

Please house is there any post ITA pregnant mama or papa (if your wife is pregnant) who passed medicals considering xray risk exposure to the baby??

Were you able to get the xray done??

Did u have to wait till baby was born to conclude your medicals??

good evening mommies in the house please what where the signs you have after missed period I missed period but no much signs except for lower back pain like period then the tip of my breast hurts a little I want to go for blood test on Saturday

Mine was soreness of breasts, food aversion and nausea without vomiting. I was highly nauseated though it is gradually wearing out now.
I tested with the regular urine home test trip before going to the hospital to confirm 3 weeks after with a scan.
When was your last menstrual period (LMP)??
