Mamas abeg put mouth for this matter ooh...my period is two days late today (CD31). Early morning urine test is negative while blood test is positive. I did both today...is this normal?

That shouldn't be a concern then...start your marathon kpekusing ooo! It could be a sign of ovulation around d corner.

Chaaaaiiii.... TTC have mercy on us ooo.
I was gisting with some ladies yesterday, nothing related to kids/TTC ooo! All of a sudden, one of them innocently asked me, "what time do u pick ur children from school?".... I was automatically mute, na so I begin to dey look around as if she dey talk to another person other than me.

I just murmured some words and left...I felt less like a woman but I brushed it off. I later met her and told her I'm still TTC, she prayed for me & apologised for asking the question openly.

@Orney, I can relate to such feelings very well...but pls don't solve a problem by creating another one. God cannot deny us MOTHERHOOD, just hold on & research on the areas you need help. Keep trying & it will happen one day.

@Pampharez, the Lord is your strength....after my experience last year ending that led to my first preggy loss, I just don't trust all dez doctors anymore. I can't be spending without result...koleework(it won't work)! take it a step at a time and God will perfect d rest.

@Zino89, Congrats on your BFP.
@all mamas, TTC is just a phase and it will soon be over. Let's keep up in solving the puzzle and believe God for the BEST.

@fpeter pls,ignore that your friend!even in this ttc among ttc people some people will want to use you as their yardstick of progress.ttc friends have asked me what i have been upto i will tell them but when i ask them they will say they are trusting in God and not taking anything as if me na orunmila i dey trust!.

U r not alone on this @Pweetymii...Infact some will tell u everything is OK with them, meanwhile they need serious medical help. I no fit shout, I voice out my issue and HELP has been coming my way. We all blv in God!

Based on my research on Google, low progesterone was equally fingered as the most likely culprit.

Sorry I just saw your mention now. I know of Vit. B6, cyclogest and progesterone cream...they are good for low progesterone. Continue with the folic acid too, very important.

I don't know why it should be so tho, spotting a week before AF for like 2days and it stops totally, only for it to start right on scheduled days later. I'll prolly take a trip down to the hospital.

A trip to the hospital is the best option. I know someone with that experience, it happened her progesterone was the culprit...it was too low. Vit B6 settled it.

Got Married November (like I told d last doc Biko dont say its too early to try) every body seem to look at my belle no longer at my face. I have been taking well woman preconception maybe out of anxiety i get all the signal for baby but nothing. Now my period delayed by 5 days and still tested negative only to come out after d test. I have done pelvic scan and doc says its okay. Now i am booked to do hormonal imbalance test.I was told to come at the third day of my period but not sure i will get time off work so i plan to go second day.

Please what is the best time to go for this test.

Medically they might say it's too early BUT my sister d earlier the better in my own opinion. This TTC journey is not easy...but don't be anxious. Hormone test can be taken between CD 1-3 for best results.

I shared my BFP testimony with the house some few weeks ago, and there was something I didn't add, but I feel I should say.

I have a regulated cycle of 28/29 days each month, and my ovulation date is supposed to be on the 14th or 15th day of the cycle.
But I do not feel I took in on either of these days.

Usually, when I was actively ttcing, I would endeavour to kpekus with DH, anything from cycle day 7 or 8, up till cd 16 or thereabouts, religiously following the 'one day on, one day off' thingy. Then I would endeavour to keep off kpekus, as much as possible, while waiting to know the outcome at the end of the two weeks.

There were months when I felt, this was really it, and subconsciously begin to symptom-spot. Unfortunately, I'd get a BFN that cycle.

This month when I decided not to ttc, DH and I kpekused every blessed day from around cd 7 or 8 till cd 16. Then, it became like, every other day. I did not control our kpekus at all, I only gave in to DH anytime he wanted it.

The day I actually suspect it happened was a funny day like that. I never thought we would kpekus that day. We had a quarrel, DH stayed in the sitting room while I was in the bedroom. We were actually going to sleep that way

But I was somehow distressed in my spirit, I couldn't stay. (The normal me wouldn't even send). So I went to apologize. That ended the kwanta, and it resulted in a highly satiating kpekus, make up kpekus, with multiple orgarsms

We still kpekused after that though, mostly with a day in between, till about a day to AF. But I somehow feel that was when conception took place. That was about 5 days to AF.

My point is, you might not be sure that your ovulation is 14 days to AF, even if your cycle is regulated. (I read somewhere that someone ovulated during AF ). It could be earlier, it could be later.

Somehow, one could test to know when ovulation actually takes place, and in case you're not able to, try to kpekus as much as you can. Ovulation could be earlier or later than 14 days to AF.

Any way, I do hope my two cents help someone.

An early PT test will give a better explanation to this... with my experience of early miscarriage, my PT was positive for sometime even after the loss. If it's negative, then I suggest you see your gynae ASAP. Don't worry, it will surely end in praise.

Ive heard abt ds before. its a common saying among d yorubas. they believe if d surroundings of d womb is hot, there cant be conception. this indicate internal heat. Its one of d major cause of infertility. it kills sperm cells and also cause miscarriage. Surprisingly, it cannot be detected/ diagnosed in d lab. believe me only herbs work for it.

What are the symptoms pls? Orishirishi dey dis TTC ooo, I never hear dis one before.

Medplus at Ademola Adetokunbo VI gave me letrozole for 12,500 as at last year november. Kindly check with another medplus branch or pharmacy.

My dear I don't understand why they insist that I must buy the whole 30 tablets! I need just 10tablets (a card)....that is why it's that expensive.
