The cheapest IUI I've heard of was 100k and that was like two years ago sef.

That was what he told me...like I said earlier, I've not gone thru d process so I can't give full details about it. But d hospital is affordable, trust me.

Enter a bus to Badagry roundabout, from there u enter a bike (#50) to Great Physician hospital &not d church ooo. PM me for d Doc's number. It's important u schedule an appointment with him b4 going. If u have test results/scan u hv done before, go with dem EXCEPT u don't mind repeating them.

He charged me 70k for IUI for 2 cycles...which is relatively cheap (35k per cycle). But I'm scared, don't know d success rate. With God on your side, u will have a testimony.

Yes I use Great Physician... I live in Agbara (Opic estate) but we r relocating to inside Lagos dis weekend cos of dh's new job.

I have been TTC for almost 4 yrs.I have underlying health issues(ovarian cyst and fibroid),but I was always told in the hospital that they are not really the course of my infertility.though, I was told to do surgery to get rid of the cyst and fibroid.my parents are against it so is mother in law, so I was always given herbs,concoctions and so on to shrink them but all to no avail. meanwhile the cyst is growing large from about 2cm to 9cm( as at the last time I went to the hospital around January this yr).During this period, I also used to visit Islamic pharmacy (for those that live in the north, they should know about Islamic pharmacy) there I was given different herbs ranging from fenugreek, black seed and the oil,Asparagus, and another herb called treasure and I am also a friend of garlic,lemon and ginger, all these I used to take with prayers and hope.The last time I went to the hospital in January,the doctor told me I just have to do the surgery cos the cyst is noe a complex one from a simple cyst to being a cystadenoma,the doctor said the cyst is very large and one of my ovaries may go with it during surgery, I was scared and instantly when he said that,I told him in sha Allah (by the grace of God)my ovary will not be removed, he said if one is removed the other one will work well.I said I don't care,all I know is that non of my organ will be removed.And I told myself I won't go to the hospital for these reason again unless for another reason. I continue to take my Islamic herbs and continue to pray.Around June,hubby came home for eid and it happened but on that same night my period came,July period came,August,waited no show,that was when I posted and one of our mamas said I should go for test.I did hpt and lo and behold it was a bfp.All I know is that God did it.it is not by power nor by might, but by His special grace.May He visit all soon.Awaiting your bfps.

Congratulations mama, dis your testimony has built up my faith that God can actually turn an unseemingly impossible condition for our good. Ovarian cyst (whether complex or simple) cannot stop my BFP!

@mamatwiny, another mama has said it all, clomid doesnt work for everybody, and taking it cd 5 to 9, ensures fewer but mature eggs, cd 2 to 6, gives more eggs less mature > wch may hv been beta for you. you may try those dates if you are braze enough to try it again.
letrozole is preferable though more expensive, ..another mama said ovaboost does the same thing too.
next do tvs from day 10 or 11..if u hv a 29/30 day cycle...n trigger once the eggs reach 21/23mm and hvnt ruptured

@other mama asking about endo -
its strange, how come the acute period pains started immediately after the hydrotubation?.
hope the procedure didnt shift the tubes a lil,...i would suggest a 2nd opinion from other docs.
shud it be comfirmed...castor oil massage after af and stop b4 ovu, promrose oil tab, ruzu bitters, serrapeptase etc..all help to cure endo

Thanks for ur explanation and concern mama. My gynae actually said "it might" be endo, he wasn't specific. TTC makes one react badly to certain terms, which I did. I learnt ovarian cyst can cause painful period as well...my tubes and reproductive organs no shift at all bikooo they are all intact. I spoke with 2 other gynae doctors as well, so I'm relaxed that all is well in Jesus name, Amen!

Dear mama's,
I took clomid this cycle from day 5 to 9, but surprisingly I didn't ovulate on day 17 I am sure cos I used ovulation stops to test. I went for TVs today being CD 20 and attached is my result.

It seems clomid doesn't work for me. Why do you thing the egg shell was thickened and did not rupture. It has grown beyond the 25mm , now 27 mm and leaking fluid. The lab technologist said the egg is spoilt and DT this cycle won't work. Also note that my period moved by 8 fays the first time I took clomid. This is my second cycle and I doubt I'll ever take it again.

I now ask myself if I am sure the egg ruptures in unmedicated cycle.

Clomid is the genesis of this cyst wahala I entered, no doubt it works for some people. I pray the follicular cyst resolves on its own. Be positive!

No trace of endometriosis was seen during the scan, rather a simple ovarian cyst of 32mm was seen (It used to be complex ovarian cyst of 45mm). I pray it all disappears soon.

Good morning mamas, I was off for sometime to cool off my head from TTC wahala.
Congratulations to all belleful mamas, wish you all H&H 9months journey.
I've been experiencing excruciating menstrual pains after I did hydrotubation in June. Need to take ibuprofen to ease the pain. I called my Doctor today and he said it might be endometriosis! I was shocked to hear that , he said I should do a pelvic scan and take ciprotab + flagyl. I'm really heart broken! From ovarian cyst to endometriosis! Why me??
How effective is women's best friend on endometriosis? I don't have money for surgery. Make una help me oooooo! I'm loosing my mind seriously.
NB. I don't take sugary stuffs at all.
