Hehisjosh: Guys please lets be careful of the advice we provide on here. Your school accommodation will do if it meets the accommodation requirements of the embassy ok.... A valid accommodation letter or contract must state the following: - The amount of the rental (the cost of the rent per month or week or per day which ever one) -The duration of the rental (either it states the exact dates or states that it covers the entire period of studies. Note it must cover a minimum of 1 year.) - Address (Location of the accommodation) - Embassy prefers paid accommodation reservations. So it needs to state that the reservation has been paid for. However if payment is only allowed on arrival like with most school dorms then it must state so in the contract. -Needs to be signed by your landlord, property agent/representative/lawyer or a school representative (In the case that its your school providing the accommodation) Also please note: the accommodation contract does not have to be signed by a lawyer but rather the point is that it has to be signed. It should either be signed by your landlord, property agent or a school representative (In the case that its your school providing the accommodation) In your case if the embassy rejected your school accommodation letter/contract, that means it did NOT meet the accommodation requirements expected by the embassy. Guys just because your school is providing your accommodation and giving you an accommodation letter/contract it does not mean that your school has the right format for it, your school needs to ensure the letter/contract they provide meets the embassy requirements. If it does not embassy will reject it or give your number 8 stating you have not justified the purpose of your stay. So check your school accommodation letter or contract please if it does not meet the requirements as above please tell your school to update the accommodation letter/contract Please if you have any further questions please ask to avoid stories that touch. Hope this helps someone. 4 Likes 1 Share |

sleo170: Looks like a solid plan to me the only thing is that 900k a month payslip itself from a sponsor is in itself more than sufficient. But if you want to add cc of 3m as well np that works as well. 1 Like |

YourGrandfather: It is possible Yes but its still up to the school you are transferring to, to make that decision. The reason why it is suggested that you try transferring to a similar course if you wish to transfer is that you may be able to transfer some of your courses from the old university to the new university. Of course if the courses are not similar u can imagine that some of them may not be able to be transferred. But like I said transferring to another school or changing schools while in Poland is VERY POSSIBLE. |

Been getting this question a lot so I want to answer it so its not asked over and over again. Question: As an international student, Can I change universities when I get to Poland? Answer: Yes you can absolutely change universities when you get to Poland. Usually universities will accept to consider students who intend to transfer after they have completed at least the first year of their current university. So that they can of course evaluate your grades. Secondly it is usually preferable if you want to transfer to another university that you are transferring to a similar course in your new university. But remember it is at the discretion of the Rector in the university you intend to transfer to if they will accept your transfer. But generally the answer is YES you can change or transfer to another University in Poland. Just check with the Uni before hand. |

Soraco57: Dear friend biko you cannot advise him to get a visa appointment before paying tuition fees. Why ? Because especially if he is paying from Naija the payment takes a bit to be processed ok and the schools have to wait to receive the money before issuing the final admission documents u need for visa processing and sometimes depending on the school this could take up to a week or more in total. So u know you cannot control the date the embassy will give you when you call for an appointment for visa ok. The embassy assigns date at random you cannot choose . So supposed on a given Thursday he or she calls the embassy for an appointment date and the embassy assigns he or she an appointment date for that following Monday which is just a few days from the Thursday he called . When will he start sending payment for tuition? Even if he sends it will take some time to process so that means he might not be able to get his final admission docs from the school in time enough to meet up with the visa appointment for Monday . My dear pay your tuition fee first and get your admission docs before u call for an appointment. What you should be asking your school before you pay your tuition aside of whether they will refund your tuition is if they will support you by providing you with an extension letter that u can use as part of your visa documentation in the event that you get an appointment date at a much later time when school has already resumed. Guys as you search for schools try to ask these questions that will help you determine which schools will really work to support u more during your visa process. Let’s be careful of the advise we give each other on here pls. When in doubt pls ask others. Hope this helps someone out there. 1 Like |

Polixenes: See eh don’t get caught up in all these names of the cards. The point is just what I said in my previous post ok. Let me re-iterate it, as long as it is a CASH BACKED CREDIT CARD it will definitely have a credit limit set to it and you will and should be able to request a certificate of credit card limit. Doesn’t matter if the cash u use to back it up or fund it is in USD, POUNDS, EUROS...whatever currency ok as long as it is a cash backed credit card with a set limit u good to go.. read my previous posts I have already explained what a cash backed credit card is. Hope that helps |

YourGrandfather: Your accommodation contract should cover a minimum of 12 months not less and maybe some where in the contract the landlord can also state that the contract is renewable or so. Hope that helps.. 1 Like |

aussielover: There goes one problem right there. Your accommodation covered only one semester. Per Poland visa requirements and Schengen visa laws: At a very minimum, Your accommodation contract must cover THE ENTIRE PERIOD OF VISA VALIDITY along with the amount of the rental. National VISA D is granted for a period of one year maximum. So at the very least your accommodation contract should cover the period of one year. (Which means at least 12 months) Additionally it could also be answers you gave the questions asked by the VO during your interview which conflict With the docs you submitted. Im trying to get in the VISA officer's mind if your purpose of stay is really for studies then you should not only pay your tuition but you should also ensure that you have accommodation during the period you are studying. so at a minimum you should have gotten a year contract with rental amounts that state that at the end of the 1 year contract it will be renewable etc .. so maybe its just raising a red flag to the VO that your purpose of stay is not to go and study but rather to just use study as a means to get to poland and then do something else... or go somewhere else. So basically they feel you have no intent to study in poland. So you need to try to appeal with a remediation showing them that you do have intent of going to Poland to study and no other intent. Did your school provide you with accommodation or was it private accommodation and what school? I have not seen your application and your supporting documents in its entirety so I’m only making this analysis based on what u just said above. Based on what u mentioned above To remedy this situation, I would suggest the following: 1) contact your school and pay the entire tuition for a year and get a receipt showing you have paid tuition for an entire year. So since you have paid a semester already you will pay for an additional semester. Make sure you get receipt confirmation showing u paid for one year. 2. Get an accomodation contact that shows u have reserved it for an entire year at minimum(12 months). In there maybe they should have some wording that says after a year the contact is renewable etc... the contact should also list the rental amount. If u need help with securing accomodation n the contract ask on here and someone may help. Or you may ask the company that provide u with the one u have to update it to comply with what I mentioned above. 3. Then a letter of appeal. In the appeal letter you will try to convince them that your intent is to go to Poland for studies and you will list that you have taken the remediation steps you have taken above to prove that your intent is actually to go to Poland for studies. 4. Statement of purpose letter which tells them why you want to study in Poland, why you chose the course you did, how the course will be helpful to you, etc You know at this point u have to do everything that u can to convince the VO u are going for studies. Because they already feel like your intent is not to go to Poland for studies. This is just my analysis based on the info u have provided thus far without seeing anything else u submitted. Hope this helps give u some direction. 7 Likes |

aussielover: This rejection reason is rarely given. But when its given there are couple of things we have to know to help: 1. Which school did you apply to ? 2. Did you submit accommodation contract ? 3. Also we need to see your visa application form to know what you filled on your visa application form ? 4. Did you pay your tuition fees? 5. we need to see the dates you put for leaving the territory of poland? 6. I hope the date you put on the application as your arrival date in poland is not too early before your school resumption date. I hope its not earlier than 3 weeks before your school resumption date. 7. I hope the date you put on your visa application for leaving poland is not too far from the date your course ends.. 8. If you had an accommodation contract, hope it covers the entire period of your stay. Infact there could be several factors but I just listed a few above 1 Like |

orlahtohbadt: No. They do not state the school you are applying to and they do not state the course. They may just ask you who you want it addressed to. I have seen some addressed to a school and some addressed to the Polish embassy. But it does not really matter who its addressed to. You can use it for to apply for any school as long as it is legitimately coming from MOE in Abuja. Hope that is clear? 1 Like |

Polixenes: Bro or sis they credit card funds can be in any denomination : Naira, USD, Pounds, Euros. You name it. As long as it is a Cash Backed Credit Card. PM Me if you need a referral to a bank that is familiar with a Cash Backed Credit Card. I have already explained the suggested amount of funds that should be in there. Please you can read my previous posts. But it usually depends on a lot of factors especially the city you will be going to and its based on cost of your tuition cost for a year + accommodation cost for a year + living expenses for a year + flight cost . That should help you figure out the minimum that should be on the credit card. But I suggest from 5M and up. Hope this is clear? |

Odez1: Any date from 2 weeks before your resumption date of October 1st is fine. But make sure your departure date falls within the date range in your accommodation letter (that is if there is a date range on your accommodation letter) and also ensure the date aligns with the start date of your insurance and also that it aligns with the departure date on your flight reservation. Hope its clear 2 Likes 1 Share |

Honestly you have two options you either just keep trying get help from as many friends as possible to help you call or you pay for someone to help. So it’s either you are persistent and get the appointment yourself or buy the appointment . Na so |

@Aremosarumi1 I just want to clarify my previous post on your question about NO OBJECTION LETTER/CERTIFICATE so u don’t get confused or missed. So depending on your circumstance please note that your if your are a student for example your non objection letter could also come from an institution like a school, stating that though you are undergoing classes, and that your absence for travel has been approved by them with no objection to your travel and that you are under a contractual obligation with the university to finish your studies so you will return back after your work contract to finish up. So university can attach documents showing that u are still a student there, that u have paid your fees and a letter showing they have approved you to take a break from studies to travel and u are to return to continue your studies. So that non objection letter can come from either an institution like I explained or can come from an individual could be from your husband stating that you are married and he has agreed with no objection for u to go work and because you are under a contractual obligation of marriage leaving behind our kids and your spouse, you will be returning back after your work to continue to take care of them etc. then he will attach your marriage cert, kids birth certificate etc. I just wanted to clarify that it’s u going to be writing the letter of no objection. It’s either gonna be an institution, agency or another individual. It basically states that u are under a contractual obligation of some sort and the agency or individual has approved your traveling for the purpose of work with no objection and you will return back to your home country once the work is done and continue with your contractual obligation. Pls post on the work thread any more questions u may have and I and others can try to respond there. |

Nzesinachi1: If u are referring to this poland waka, Based on history and experience from Applicants in Nigeria the polish embassy in Nigeria prefers payslips from sponsors who are based in Nigeria. Not sure why this is the case, but like someone once mentioned on here, it may be because the embassy may have to go through more hurdles with verifying them. I also don’t know if this applies to applicants from other countries who use foreign sponsors. But I speak only about Nigeria because that’s the one I know. So If the sponsor is based in Germany or in any other country other than Nigeria the sponsor can open a Nigerian based credit card account at a bank in Nigeria in the sponsors name and fund it, then request a certificate of credit card limit in his name as the sponsor . He can then provide you the applicant with that certificate of credit card limit and also provide a signed and notarized letter of sponsorship. This will suffice as proof of funds for the Poland embassy. Another option is you the applicant can open the Nigerian based credit card account in your name and your sponsor can fund it, then you the applicant can request a certificate of credit card limit in the your name and also the sponsor will provide a signed and notarized letter of sponsorship. In that letter of sponsorship the sponsor will state that he has funded you the applicants account perhaps as gift or something. This should also suffice as proof of funds. In both options the sponsor will have to provide a copy of their government issued ID as well . This goes for anyone who has a foreign based sponsor (meaning if your sponsor is not based in Naija then they can choose any one of the options mentioned above to prove the financial capabilities of being your sponsor to the polish embassy) Hope this is clear ? I have talked in detail about this in my previous posts and others have as well. Pls read my previous posts on this topic. Pls note: I try to take my time out to be detailed about responses so people do not ask the same question again. Pls if you ask a question that has already been answered, do not mind if I keep referring u to read my previous posts or go through the thread to read from others. |

iamadonis2: Which one is this na ? Legalization and visa have nothing to do with the other on this Poland waka. U can get visa without legalizing your documents. Wetin border patrol get to do with your docs not being legalized or not na ... pls stop this ....The only draw back in not legalizing your documents b4 u get to Poland is that with most schools u will not be able to start classes and u will have to courier your docs back to Naija to get it done. It’s just stressful of course but has nothing to do with border patrol or visa Pls read my previous post I have already explained in depth. 3 Likes |
