JejeIsLife: Well to the best of my knowledge there are 4 Main valid documents that will entitle you to work and live in Poland: 1. A valid Work or STudy visa 2. Karta Czasowego Pobytu (Which is a Temporary Residence Card) 3. Karta Stałego Pobytu (Which is a Permanent Resident card ) 4. Polish Passport Since u are still a prospective migrant to Poland, I believe you DO NOT have any of the above. Atleast not yet. None of these applies to you in Nigeria. So you should state that At this time u DO NOT have a valid document that allows u to work and live in Poland. Which is ultimately why you are applying for a work permit in order to apply for a work visa. 4 Likes |

JejeIsLife: As a skilled laborer, your skills are in demand for sure. 95% of the time, usually u won’t get the job offer directly from an employer due to several factors including language barrier. Most employers usually will work with an intermediary (e.g recruitment firms, Legal firms etc ). To ensure I stay within guidelines, Im sorry i won’t make references on here. Unfortunately amongst those legitimate ones there are also illegitimate ones as well so u have to put in a certain level of caution when making a choice about which intermediary to work with. 3 Likes |

Andercruz: 1. I can’t possibly list all the unskilled jobs here obviously too many to list. Most of them are factory jobs, jobs that do not require any special skills. 2. Yes as long as you have a job offer and work permit From the employer or employer legal representative. Getting a work permit for unskilled job is the easier part although it has more delays but eventually it comes out. The harder part is Getting the visa for unskilled workers. Like I said the chances of unskilled workers getting a visa from Nigeria is very low. It is NOT impossible but chances are much lower than a skilled worker . |

remecy: So just to clarify so u understand. A skilled job does not necessarily mean u need to write a test. A skilled job is more like a job that requires specific set of skills and training for example a plumber, a welder etc . An unskilled job on the other other hand refers to a Job that does not really require you to possess specific skills or training for example meat factory worker , cleaner etc . On a general note based on experience most good employers I have come across will actually test your skills for a skilled job on video yes....they do. Not all do but most will.....just to ensure that the applicant really possesses the skill in question. Hands on Skills test on video is usually a requirements from the employer as part of the process for these skilled jobs. So u cannot fake it nope. This is not usually the same for unskilled jobs. And just as an FYI, the visa success rate for skilled workers is actually most often much higher if certain measures are in place and they meet the requirements of course. Most skilled workers I’ve come across who applied for a work visa actually got visa as long as they met the requirements and proved verifiable skills. Most often their prospective employers go as far as contacting the embassy on their behalf as part of the application process. The appointment draw process for work visas also favors skilled workers most . They are given the most priority. Hope this helps clarify it for u and others. 3 Likes |

Kevinsun: If u are going for bachelors and are referring to SUT . SUT has a February intake but only for masters. There are other schools that have a February intake for bachelors . Check the thread someone posted a few schools earlier . But if u must go to SUT n going for bachelors then their next intake for bachelors is September 2022. |

mayoratikins: If you are going for bachelors SUT will not give u admission without jamb results. Their application process is very easy . Go through dream apply and follow the instructions it’s self explanatory. You can do it yourself. If you don’t have jamb like I said find another school because SUT will not give u admission without jamb results . Using someone to help u with the application will not change this. 2 Likes |

naijaboy756: Not totally true. But I can tell u with certainty that Work permits for skilled jobs right now are being prioritized and processed faster over work permits for non-skilled jobs. So if you are a skilled worker applying for a skilled position most often your work permit should take an average of 30 to 45 days max. If you are applying for a non skilled position, u MAY experience longer than usual waiting periods. Not always the case but happens very often than not. |

Schon007: With proper justification from your school and how u present things, it is not as tricky to justify getting a visa to continue classes in traditional format. As a matter of fact the justification can be easy, depending on certain factors and most importantly your school has to provide additional supporting doc/docs for justification to back u up. So it really depends on how you present/justify your case. Therefore I would say that b4 u embark on online classes confirm with your school that they will send you new acceptance docs and additional documentation for visa to support the reason why you need to resume school in a traditional format. If your school is willing to do this and agrees to, then u may proceed with online format . Most schools are doing this first semester in online format anyways. But pls check with the school for their additional visa support concerning this first because once u agree to online format they would not refund u if your visa is not successful. 1 Like |

cuteBB: Pls guys don’t be desperate, gullible and don’t fall a victim. There are just too many scammers out here and the fact is some people get to the embassy only find out they do not have a valid appointment. Do not fall prey. Even a legitimate link does not charge that amount for Poland appointment at this time. The individual had to come on nairaland severally to advertise which is a big red flag. Trust me if they were truly legitimate they would be no need for excessive ads. Beware....I understand it’s tough but y’all play safe out there. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Chybyke1992: Most schools will take 3 to 5 working days to issue the invitation because they have to get the approval of the invitation from the ministry of education in Ukraine. There after they mail it to u which takes another 3 to 5 working days to get to most places in Nigeria via dhl (e.g Abuja, Lagos ) So he is right in saying that u should expect your study invitation in your hand within a maximum of 2 weeks after you apply . |

nakeno: For bsc nursing in kyiv you can check out : taras shevchenko national university International European University Kyiv Medical University Bogomolets National Medical University For tuition u looking at between 3500 to 4500 usd a year for nursing in these schools located in kyiv. You can refer to their websites for the exact tuition fee but that’s the range . About visa things....though most people paid a so called visa assurance through an agent for visa, you can equally apply for visa yourself . I strongly encourage u to apply yourself. Pls just go through the requirements on the vfs site and ensure you have all the required docs and prepare well for the interview. Age is NOT an issue for getting admission for all if not most Ukrainian universities. As far as visa is concerned just ensure to account for any gaps in education if u have gaps because it may come up during your interview. |

Oluwakayodey: 1. Embassy knows the visa will be issued for 365 days That doesn’t change the fact that your intended date of leaving Poland would be after ur course ends . If you are applying for a course that’s 3 months or less then you should be applying for a short term visa not a long term ViSA D. Long term VIsa D is for courses over 3 months . I don’t know which program u are going for that is under a year but I personally don’t know of any bachelors or masters or doctoral programs that are less than a year. It’s not hard...answer the question on the form, just as they are asked... 2. Sponsorship letters do not require any kind of letterhead. You just address it to the embassy with a date and the sponsors address. Nothing fancy. Please see google search for samples . You all are thinking too much about these things n making them complicated for nothing. 3. If they do not have payslips then let them fund a credit card and you can submit his certificate of credit card limit as proof of funds. You guys are really thinking too much into these things and making things more complicated for yourself . Some of these questions although rephrased have already been addressed in the past. 4 Likes |
