Hello nairalanders ,OK I need help with my relocation out to SouthAfrica ,My girl friend who is from south africa is willing to help she is working but currently does not know the procedures to follow. Please advise us how do we begin people. Thanks for your anticipated contribution.

Hey,

You can apply for Life partner visa; Life partner permits or visas are issued to foreigners who are immigrating to South Africa with a South African boyfriend or girlfriend (life partner) with whom they are in a permanent relationship you can also renew it in sa until you get your PR.

The must important documents you need is Notarial Contract from a lawyer then her ID and yours.

It takes time btw 6 - 10 Months except if you push it then 6-8 weeks.

You must be prayerful.

good luck

Please guys who has any idea on how to apply for SA business permit, please it’s very urgent. Thanks

Are you in SA already or Nigeria?

If not in sa look for someone to register a private business for you then sars certificate then a physical address proof(to register a business is cheap not that expensive) If you wish I can also help you with registering a business name & sars or still you can google for agents in sa doing so.

The minimum amount for those inside sa for business permit is R5m, you can have this amount in cash or in any form. But i dont think work and business permit re possible in sa... apply from home.

but if you apply from home, you dont need that 5m rands

visit vfs nigeria site for other documentation require then you have to wait for 6 to 8 weeks.

Please explain to me how you used VIP

@ Jubrilar,

There is nothing like VIP... except an 'agent'...

The Vip you are referring of which you only paid 10k that is for vfs premium lounge and it has nothing to do with your fast track applications with the embassy only to reduce your stress from those 250/300 daily applicant waiting to be serve...

Let us always say the truth so others can learn and find this place safe.

The consulate are always here I've seen them...

Hi All,

I would be glad if anyone could advise on the procedure for passport withdrawal as i urgently need my passport by next week for a very important personal use.

Is it possible to have my passport within two days of making request?

Does this have any negative consequence if i decide to reapply? Please note that my application for study permit was submitted on 7th December 2018 without any decision yet.

Thank you.

@Crew,
if what you wish to do with your passport is not that serious kindly wait a little on or before 7th April you will receive your visa.
Withdrawing application does not have any effect at all. It takes 2 days anyway, but at times might take longer. Life has seasons...
You can also demand for your passport whilst your application would still be in process. All you need to do is to tell them at vfs the type of withdrawals you wish for not to cancel the processing but to have your passport for an important...once they reach decision they will call you...

Thanks

He sounded desperate

hehehehehe @ DrCollins218, you said Adsales sounded what? have you forgotten so soon? you were once depreate here too? and in the School of Success . desperation gives birth to 'breakthroughs.'

It was your desperation that got you the help that approved your visa and released your passport. After many Months.

Everyone has ther way of handling issues of life / stress.

I am not a supporter of idle text, but we all know sa is beautiful n blessed,(even d consular read dat part of useless sa n smile hw much more our own pp) common sense will tell us why he said all that. He wasted a lot of time, money etc... he only needed encouragement and maybe assistance on what and what to do. we should all be like this user: Diamond1960 and so many others. some of the help we get here free of charge worth millions. go out der and see what agents re doing making billions because of this setbacks.
some ppl can commit suicide becos of little things we should all try to save life...by enoucrain.
if your visa was released does not mean u are well known, smart or favoured.

sa Embass used to be fast...no mata the nos of applications dey received daily etc...
They could be a problem and am praying for divine solution!

Ppl stop complaining, put this whole issues in prayers.

thank you!

This is sad to hear at this point, have you heard anything yet regarding your permit?

For where! my brother!

I'm Just thankful to JAH & to Bro Diamond1960 at least among all my worries i posted here that stressful day! my wife finally gave birth successfully to a baby boy!

But the separation is killing me. My 6 to 8 weeks ended December, but i decided to count it as working days wnch ended 2nd week of January.
I wouldn't advise anyone to come home and renew der permit non change any condition.

Finally, I was at the airport yesterday saw many travelers going to sa was wondering then i spoke with some of them whc embassy are they getting this visa from & was told what they did... This is not about technical issues. something is not right. People pray o0

I applied for study visa since January 17th and I have not gotten a response. Meanwhile, school has started. Is there any way I can contact the embassy? The numbers on the net are not connecting. Even their mail bounces back. Going forth to VFS is not helping issues. Please I'd appreciate any help.

You should have apply long ago. Long term visas processing time varies from 6 to 8 weeks.
Some who applied October 2018 are still waiting. Anyone who lied they got der study visa within a month lied, they are all agent looking for clients.

Try This:
01 4612067
01 4612981

source:
https://www.gov.za/about-government/contact-directory/representatives-rsa/representatives-rsa/nigeria-federal-republic

These info are for DHA HQ:
general enquiry: hacc@dha.gov.za
study visa responsible managers: nomvuzo.vilakazi@dha.gov.za
visitors visa: adziliwi.muravha@dha.gov.za
phone: 0800 60 11 90

They might not help but the more quarries they receive the more they question d embassies.

True talk! it's a great privilege & Thanks for that i wish some of us will think like you.
(but maybe 4 1st timers such as visitors etc i think not for those with investments, family, businesses and properties)

This man (qalifa) waited for 5-6 Months for study visa not a first time applctn and later got denied. Time is precious.

But at least release passport either a yes or no.

I had to send a mail to the SA Home affairs directly who I believe is attending to my case because they replied me and apologized for the inconveniences they caused me. Later they sent me another mail requesting for my visa application ref number. I forwarded all the documents and even attached a letter from my hod requesting them to expedite the process. So I believe they are already on it and hopefully it will be out soon.

I also wrote them last Year December and was told they cant use such foreign ref number to trace my application to see what is happening. Only those application done at vfs, SA with ref: TRC, TRA, TRR etc... not SAABJ / SALA etc... because they dont have system to track and trace international applicant.

I think it's a general issue perhaps from Home Affiars in ZA.
I've seen another thread where Zimbabweans are complaining.
Fortunately for them, they have been able to force their high commissioner to release all passports by Feb ending, with priority for scholarship n grant recipients.

Unfortunately no one is fighting for us ‍♂️

we do brother, I reported case to Ministry of Foreign Affairs Abuja last year was told no one has complained only me. If we are more than 5 and above they will act.

Hope everyone is fine. I applied for a South African study visa on the 14th November 2018. I am yet to get a response. The email and phone numbers on the South Africa High Commission website are not working. A visit to the High Commission office was also futile as I was refused entry and told to channel all visa issues to VFS. What can one do? I have also written the International Students Office of the university where I intense to pursue Phd Studies but that also has not yielded any result. Is there any channel available to speak to the consular office?

Hey simplymh,
Thank God it is a PhD! studies can comerence anytime.
