LinkedIn works too well...infact, it is where you can connect with professional people more. Most people around me use LinkedIn, personally i just have a profile and I have not really explored it yet. I actuallt got an invitation to send my CV for possible interview but didn't follow through. I know 3 people who got way good jobs on linkedin may-june this year and about 2 people who got contacted by third party HRs by just viewing their profile without even applying...it works, it really does. The key is to sell yourself on linkedin, connect to the right people and be very professional.

LinkedIn is mostly Advantaged to people who have years of Real work experience with reputable companies in their field.
If you are an upcoming professional without relevant work experience..... You will end up being just a spectator!

Most multinational firms have parent companies and the names quite differ from the local name you know them to be in your country. 7Up is not an independent company but a brand of a particular company. For Viju, well, I wouldn't advise you to think of applying let alone work for them. Viju is owned by some Chinese individuals and the job conditions are better defined as slavery.

Friesland recruit from time to time and they do it on their Global site. You might have been looking and stalking the wrong website ever since.

Cadbury is a local name. It's like wanting to see Nittol recruit whereas Henkel has been making calls for applications for several roles. It's nobody's fault you are ignorant of this.

Lool...it is not as bad as you make it sound. These companies are not sole proprietorship, they use third parties and sometimes even contact you directly without even applying for the job. At other times a vacancy might be a available and they may ask insiders who have worked for rival companies like theirs if they know someone in their former office that can fill the role...this helps them monitor and understand competitors.
I would like to ask: are you on linkedin? What is your proffesional profile like? What is your online presence and rep like? Work on your professional profile online and I am sure you will get singled out

Yes! I am on LinkedIn. If you try approaching their HRM or other top managers, They keep giving you the Ignoring attitude and NO vacancy talk... Even if what you are asking for is a NO PAYMENT INTERNSHIP just for the sake of experience.
Yet they tell us about "EQUAL OPPORTUNITY NONSENSE" on their career page!
Cadbury cannot give young graduates a platform to start their career, they want ALREADY MADE from NESTLE and Co. but then, you want people to buy your products!

I don't care if they use any third party. Why will such a BIG company like those be using Third party.
If Nestle, Nigeria Brewery, Coca Cola FMN etc can advertise on their website even though they will still use other companies like Dragnet to conduct exams, Why can't Cadbury, 7up etc.
They want me to keep buying Bournvita, etc, but they cannot give me an opportunity even IT nah war. I don't care about the quality of their product, I will just NEVER BUY them! I used to be a great fan of Viju and Bournvita, but after I saw what they really are, I have bought SENSE into my brains...

If you are JOBLESS and you still patronize products made by companies who doesn't do PUBLIC RECRUITMENTS or companies who wouldn't give you an opportunity to INTERN (Paid/Volunteer), then you are a FOOL.... use your brain!
As for me and all my classmates, we have decided not to patronize any food companies that does the above.

7up, Cadbury, Viju, Friesland.....you will never see them advertise any vacancy, yet they have placements for their relatives and friends.
If I see their retailers around my mom's shop, I chase them away like goats!
