Incandescent: None at the Ministry of Foreign affairs. But since you are a permanent residence in SA u need to certify your PR.... I was in Nigeria when I applied for my child's relative permit, so I had to go down to the SA embassy to certify. But my husband certified his in SA cos he was there during the period of application. |

Incandescent: You need to authenticate your child's birth certificate at the Ministry of Foreign affairs in Abuja. Take photocopies as well as the original of the birth certificate along. Both can be authenticated, remember you will be submitting photocopy for the application. Yes, you need to authenticate the marriage certificate too. All the best. 1 Like |

Teefab: Your child's birth certificate must be certified at the Ministry of foreign affairs in Abuja. My daughter's visa was denied in January for the same reason of her birth certificate lacking credibility. Had to authenticate it first at the Ministry of Foreign affairs before resubmitting it. Relative Visa it was tho. |

[quote author=Quiver post=79502622] Nothing yet, since 18th of March. It's worrisome but the option of withdrawal is not an option. Just keep hope alive. [/quote Yes I will say just keep hope alive. My daughter submitted since January 23( relative visa tho) , we got the visa June 10... That's like 6 month. Just keep hoping for the best soon. Thanks. |
