ISIS terrorist dubbed "Jihadi John", who oversaw the brutal executions of American and Western hostages, was hit by a U.S. air strike Thursday night and is believed to have been killed, U.S. officials told ABC News.

One official said the jihadist, Mohammed Emwazi, was thought to be hit as he left a building in Raqqa, Syria, and entered a vehicle. The official called it a "flawless" and “clean hit” with no collateral damage and that Emwazi basically "evaporated." Pentagon Press Secretary Peter Cook said: "U.S. forces conducted an airstrike in Raqqa, Syria, on Nov. 12, 2015 targeting Mohamed Emwazi, also known as 'Jihadi John," "Emwazi, a British citizen, participated in the videos showing the murders of U.S. journalists Steven Sotloff and James Foley,


U.S. aid worker Abdul-Rahman Kassig, British aid workers David Haines and Alan Henning, Japanese journalist Kenji Goto, and a number of other hostages," Cook said. "We are assessing the results of tonight's operation and will provide additional information as and where appropriate."

Diane Foley, the mother of Emwazi's first victim James Foley, told ABC News Emwazi's potential death would be "really a small solace to us." "This huge effort to go after the this deranged man filled with hate when they can't make half that effort to save the hostages while these young Americans were still alive," said Foley, who was been critical of the U.S. government's hostage policy.

Richard Clarke, a former counter-terrorism advisor to the White House and current ABC News consultant, said, "Since ISIS has used propaganda and its 'winner' image to lure new adherents, when its propaganda figure is killed that makes it look more like a loser, more like the tide may be turning against it."

A senior US defence official told CNN that they knew it was Emwazi before they struck in a mission he described as involving 'persistent surveillance'. Emwazi, 27, carried out a number of beheadings of Western hostages in Syria and was top of the UK Govenrment's 'kill list' of up to a dozen British radicals whom ministers want taken out with targeted drone strikes. Russia had always made capturing the Kuwaiti-born man a priority.

A male student of the University of Professional Studies, Accra has reportedly stabbed his girlfriend to death late last night/in the early hours of the morning. The unidentified student allegedly stabbed the lady severally in the neck, chest and head after he suspected she was cheating on him. The body of the deceased has been sent to the Alfa Hospital at Madina. While the accused who attempted to commit suicide after the heinous crime is being treated in hospital.

According to Ghana's Starr News, the boy is in critical condition after his failed suicide attempt.

Nigerian gay activist Bisi Alimi has announced that he is engaged to his white boyfriend Anthony and they have scheduled their wedding for 2016.

It has been revealed that Manchester City star Yaya Toure who is married to Gineba has secretly fathered a love child with former girlfriend, Mariam Camara.

Now Mariam 31 is alleging that the footballer would not pay child support until she sends him sexy selfies and naked pictures of herself.

The married player, 32, is accused of cheating on his wife of 12 years, Gineba, during a four-month affair with Mariam, whom he first met when they were both teenagers in the Ivory Coast. Mariam claims he left her when she became pregnant and has now accused him of refusing to pay child support because she would not send him naked pictures.

Ivory Coast captain Toure, who is a practising Muslim and father-of-three, earns £230,000-a-week as a midfielder.

A Nigerian fugitive, Abdul Adewale Kekere-Ekun, who was arrested on February 12, 2015 by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFFC, for identity theft-related offences, has been sentenced to life imprisonment in the United Kingdom for the murder of 18-year-old Marcus Hall in 2001, following a brawl outside Luton’s Atmosphere Nightclub, where the popular music group, So Solid Crew, had performed.

Though 39-year-old Kekere-Ekun, who goes by several aliases like Adebayo Dalvin James Ekun, Adeba Yo Kekere-Ekun, Adeba Yo Muta Lito Kekere-Ekun, James Dalvin, James Adebayo, had initially pleaded guilty to the murder charge before the Luton Crown Court, he later fled to Nigeria.

He, was, however, arrested in Nigeria in February by EFCC. A statement by the EFCC said, during investigation, it was revealed that Kekere-Ekun, who was arrested for fraud, was on the wanted list of the United Kingdom Police. Consequently, an extradition notice signed by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Bello Adoke, was served on him by the EFCC.

He was finally extradited back to the United Kingdom, where he reportedly admitted to the killing. Before his conviction Monday, seven of the gang members had been convicted in 2002 and 2003 for their part in Hall’s murder, but two convictions were later quashed.

Revealing how he had been traced, the Bedfordshire Police said he was identified in CCTV footage of the attack, where he was wearing a distinctive checked coat.

Upon discovery of a flyer for the shop found by the Bedfordshire Police during a raid on his home, detectives went to a designer clothes store in London, where it was discovered that the jacket was one of only nine sold in the United Kingdom and the convict was listed as one of the buyers.

After the sentencing, Mr. Hall’s mother, Icelyn Wilson, in a statement issued through the Bedfordshire Police, was quoted to have said : ”My son’s death still hurts as if it had happened yesterday and I will never get over it. ”You did not just ruin one life, you left a ‘ripple effect’ which has impacted on everyone involved in my son, Marcus’ life.”

According to reports, twelve passengers have died in a road accident after a 16-seater inter-state transport company bus crashed into a truck in Benin today.

The accident occurred at about 1pm along Benin by pass. The driver of the bus with an inscription,
Young Shall Grow Motors with registration number EKY 733 XD also died.

According to an eye witnesses, the bus was coming from Lagos and was going to the Eastern part of the country when the incident happened. The driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to avoid oncoming SUV and in the process it crashed into a truck parked by the roadside.

Unfortunately, the driver and 11 other passengers died on the spot. Only four people survived. Those who survived are said to be in critical conditions and have been rushed to the hospital.

Imo West Senator, Hope Uzodimma, has stated that he won't reconcile with his former wife, Augusta, because their marriage has been legally dissolved by the Court and the Catholic Church about 17 years ago.
He said a Lagos High Court Ikeja presided over by Justice Bayo Manuwa and the Catholic Canon Tribunal of Orlu Diocese Catholic Church in Imo State where the marriage was initially consummated have dissolved the marriage after irreconcilable issues in 1998.

Uzodimma in a statement in Abuja said the dissolution by the Catholic Church has been granted by the Catholic Papal’s Dispensation. The Senator was reacting to the purported alarm raised by Augusta in which she called on the Catholic Church and all concerned not to recognize the his planned second marriage.


He wondered why the former wife would suddenly wake up from her slumber after 17 years to raise unnecessary alarm. According to him, the dissolution of the marriage having broken down irretrievably, followed all due processes (legal and Canon laws) "as we have a judgement Absolute from the High Court and also a judgement Absolute from the Catholic Tribunal".

He said because of the love for his children, he would not go into the details of what led to the dissolution and that as a responsible man,
“I have not abandoned Augusta whom I have continued to meet her needs, being the mother of my children”. Uzodimma accused his political detractors who having failed at all fronts to drag his name to the mud,have now resorted to conscript Augusta to champion their cause.” I see the handiwork of my political detractors in this”, he added.

The Senator called for calm and urged his friends and teeming supporters to disregard the action of Augusta as she is manipulated by political detractors.

Mrs Augusta Uzodinma, wife of Senator Hope Uzodinma from Imo State, has raised an alarm over her husband’s plan to get married to another woman in the Catholic Church and asked the Church and all concerned in the new marriage arrangement to indefinitely call off the plans , stressing that she is still legally married to the Senator.

She made this known to Leadership during her visit to the corporate Headquarters of the Group in Abuja yesterday, alleging that the ban of the marriage has been sent to the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Maitama, Abuja. According to her, she was legitimately married to Uzodimma (now a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria) and has consummated their union both in court and in the Catholic Church.

She said they “got married when Uzodinma had nothing, let alone people hearing about him as is the case today”, and have had five children together,
until 1996 when he asked her to go back to her parents that he was going to travel down to have some issues cleared with them.

She said, “At a certain point in time I discovered that my husband, began to behave strangely towards me, and I asked him severally in private why he became changed all of a sudden, he said he was still the person I used to know, that there was no problem. Then I learnt to keep my peace, only for my husband to accuse me of changing, saying the thought of seeing me around him was a threat to his life”.

“I was confused because I Knew I loved him with all my heart and could not have become a different person to him after several years of marriage that produced five kids. But he insisted that I left and, out of fear for my own life, I had to leave. I have been waiting all this while for him to come to my family so we can settle our differences for me to go back to my marital home but he never did, and we have not divorced. He has kept our five children and prevented them from seeing me all this while and told them I am late while I am alive. He is my only husband. I still love him till tomorrow in spite of my detention at one time by the police and all that I suffered at his instance over time. How can the same Catholic Church, which I know abhors polygamy to the latter, wed him and another woman when our marriage is still valid?”

Mrs Uzodinma said all she wants is to reunite with her family and appeals to the Church and all who care to empathise with her to ensure that the planned second wedding of her husband does not hold. When the marriage counsellor of Holy Trinity, Maitama was contacted he acknowledged receipt of the marriage ban letter from the parish in Sen. Uzodinma’s home town in Imo State and the objection raised by his wife.
He said they will play by the rule of the Church by sending back the same letter with a note that an objection has been raised for proper investigation to be carried out.

A relative of the boy whose picture appears above just got in touch with Toyin Aspire's Blog. According to him, his 14 year old cousin named Kehind Amori left for church in Ilorin, on the 19th of August but never returned.
He said the church got flooded that very day and his young cousin tried to save the tithe box, which the flood was carrying away.
That was the last they knew about him, as his body has not been found.
He said they are in search of the boy whether dead or alive, they will want to see him.

The Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, Nigeria’s government parastatal set up by law to ensure safety on the federal highways across the country, has purportedly been taken over by lesbians.

Dear Compatriots, I greet and felicitate with you all as we celebrate Christmas once again. I join our Christian compatriots and all other Nigerians in giving thanks to God Almighty whose Grace and Benevolence has helped our nation to overcome the many challenges it has had since we celebrated Christmas last year.
The annual commemoration of the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ is a most auspicious time for us, as individuals and as a nation, to rededicate ourselves to the virtues and ideals which the Messiah preached and exemplified during his earthly ministry.
Let us all therefore resolve this Christmas to make the ideals of peace, harmony, tolerance, love and goodwill to all even more manifest in our interactions with others.
It remains my sincere belief that no height of human accomplishment is beyond us as a nation, if we can overcome our differences, such as they are, and forge a binding national consensus to put the progress and well-being of the country above all other considerations.
My administration will do all within its powers and abilities to ensure that when representatives of our people assemble for the forthcoming national conference next year, they will have every opportunity and encouragement to make very significant contributions towards forging the required consensus for sustained national peace, unity and progress.

Her online picture centers less on her facial beauty, she focuses more on showing to the world her feminine possession and endowment: bosoms, hips, hot body etc.
Her profile pictures do not in anyway 'synergies' with the various locations as portrayed in the pictures: some of the pictures conspicuously show her in different room locations and arrangement (only those with critical pictural* analysis can spot this).
