Webmasters8 Ways To Drive Traffic To Your New Blog Post by Blogtrovert(op):
A good amount of traffic comes to a blog post within
the first day, after it gets published. You can get lots of traffic to a blog post not withstanding when the post got published, but often, a good amount of traffic comes to a newly published post if you promote rightly... Thus, it's important to promote your blog posts and increase traffic their immediately after you publish. This is particularly important for posts whose relevance dwindles overtime but this practice should apply to all your blog posts.

Below are 15 ways you can promote your blog posts immediately after they get publishled so as to increase traffic to them quickly.

1. Share Your new posts to twitter

Twitter is a very popular social media platform, thus it is a perfect place to share a link to your blog posts as soon as they get published. There so are many tools that enable you to automatically publish a link to your latest blog post on your twitter account but you can also share them manually.

So always share a link to your blog post on your Facebook Profile and Page (You should have a Facebook page for your blog).

3. Share the Post on Pinterest

Pinterest is a social bookmarking site. If you include images in your blog posts, then Pinterest will surely be a great place to promote them. You can do this automatically or manually...

4. Share the Post on Google

Google is an extremely cool platform to share your new blog posts to as it is a powerful tool for blog post promotion, and it shouldn't be overlooked.

5. Share the Post to Your LinkedIn Followers

Do you write blog posts about businesses, careers, or professional topics, if yes, then LinkedIn is one of the most important places to promote your blog posts.

6. Share Posts to Relevant Forums You are a member of

If you are a member of any online forums related to your blog's topic, you should not hesitate to share your posts them because forums are great places to promote your blog posts. Just be sure to offer some useful information and comments than self promotional links in your posts, else you appear to care more about self-promotion than the members' conversations.

7. Comment on Relevant Blogs and Include the Link to Your Post

When you comment on blogs that blog about similar topics as yours, its readers are likely to be part of your target audience. Commenting on such blogs is a great way to promote your blog posts. Search for high quality blogs, so your link building efforts don't hurt your blog's search rankings and search traffic.

WebmastersSome Blogging Misconceptions Individuals Have by Blogtrovert(op): 10:36am On Jan 04, 2017
Everyday is a good day to learn new hacks and learning more about blogging is something I wish to keep doing. I hope you'd want to learn also...

I once had some of these blogging misconceptions and I may not be wrong to say I'm not alone on this one...

1. You Have to Post Every Day

This actually isn't true. You don't grab a user’s attention just by merely throwing contents at them, you should know that quality is way better than quantit. So, just a few posts a week that are unique, solid, interesting and informative is enough to grab the readers you wish to grab and much better than so much posts that are short, uninteresting, pointless, scrappy and useless.

2. Good Content Gets Found

I always thought this way until I realized it was a farce... Most times bloggers get wrongly informed tha when you make your posts extremely good and satisfying, visitors will come, But truth is, creating a great blog post doesn't mean it’s going to get thousands of clicks, shares and tweets... you obviously have to work for it and make it stand out from the crowd. And brilliant posts don't just get to the top of a search, it takes more time.

3. You can just start a free blog and start making money.

Someone asked me to create a download site for him because he felt once his visitors download the videos uploaded, he makes some cash... Well! Obviously some crazy idea he had about owning a site... If you’re thinking about delving into blogging so you could start raking in the money, you might want to reconsider your decision because it doesn't work that way.

4. Blogging is Easy

Well, most of us had this misconception and trust me, we end up getting damned, by experience. Most times just searching for the right title takes more time than writing the post. I spend more than an hour in crafting just one post and In addition to writing the posts, each posts have to formatted, proof-read, and edited and you still need to search for images or photographs to be edited by you. So how easy has blogging been for.

5. Everything have been blogged thus nothing to blog about.

There is nothing that have been blogged about that can not be re-blogged, what matters is your uniqueness. There are tons of blog posts pointing to the same direction but in different tones.

So what blogging misconception do or did you have?

Webmasters10 Blogging Mistakes You've Probably Made. by Blogtrovert(op):
Most smart blogger you've seen online and maybe wished to be like probably had that one time in their blogging career where they made mistakes. Mistakes aren't just there for fun of it but because most times we learn from them.

Blogging can be complicated, so you want to

make sure you’re doing things right and below are 10 blogging mistakes you've made or you are still making;

1. Blogging without direction
Have you ever read your blog posts wonder if you are blogging or just blogging?  So many bloggers go into blogging without having an insight of what blogging really is and why they are into blogging. Do you just blog because you've heard of the money others made or you probably just want to show your writing skills? The first blogging mistake you should avoid is blogging without a purpose. Know what you will excel in, know why you blog and define your target audience.

2. copying contents from other blogs
This is probably an act performed by many bloggers. There is no harm in being different... Be wary of comparism and plagiarism. More than 80% of bloggers do copy and paste, well, you can be part the 20% that are real. If you want to go far or build a brand, then don't start your blogging journey with plagiarism. There are tools which can help you do your plagiarism check before publishing your article. Make reference if ever your post has an excerpt from another site or blog….

3. Your writing doesn't intrigue your audience
When you write, don't write like your were forced to do so. New bloggers often have issues with the way they write, thus its adviced that you write like you are making speech to a physical audience... Feel free while writing, be personal and also write the way you talk.

4. You Don't reply comments
As new bloggers, we desire comments and not just views, and the only way to encourage more comments is to Show your readers that you really care about them byresponding to the comments placed on your blog as soon as possible. Your reply can convert them to loyal visitors and intrigue others to comment. As much as possible try to answer their questions and give suggestions. Your comment section becomes interactive by doing this.

5. Your articles have no central message
When your articles are meaningless and without a message, you tend to lose readers who might be willing to revisit your blog. Try to focus on problem solving. Most times, blogging is all about impact and problem solving. Make your article clear and readable. Don't forget to pick a problem and work on providing the best solution

6. Ignoring social presence
As a new blogger, socisl sites are the first places to get traffic, thus you should be interested in Increasing your social presence in such sites like Facebook, twitter, Pinterest, google fan page and other social platforms. You should promote your blog posts on them.

7. Overlooking SEO
Neglecting search engine Optimization is a big blogging mistake. Webmaster sites help Optimize your articles to rank very high on Google and other search engines so as to get strong organic traffic to your blog.

8. Using Horrible titles
Don't mislead your blog visitors with titles that do not correlate with your post because you want more page views. Let your title agree with your content. Using misleading titles may be your worst blogging mistake.

9. Following the crowd
This is probably one great mistake many bloggers make... Don't blog on a particular niche because you saw others blogging on such niche or because the other bloggers makes a whole lot from such niche... Know what you are in good in and blog about them... You tend to lose interest when you create a specific blog about a thing because others have such blog.

10. Using the wrong Domain
This may not be a problem but it actually is a problem... Before tiu start your blog, be sure of what domain you are going for... Don't buy domains that do not correlate with your niche... I just checked your site. Please try and remove that post you talked about "how Google Adsense detects invalid clicks". Do not even write about Google or any of their products until you have gotten approval. If you take time to read their program policy and webmaster guidelines you will see such warning.

Just move the post to draft, then after approval you publish. I did the same during my period of application.
alright, tnx

6. Goes out with high – heeled shoe comes back with slippers We know that a lady must keep up, if she still wants to be in the game, but try as much as possible to pick shoes that the build won’t cause you unwanted pain barely 10 minutes of wearing it – this is the sole reason why a lady will go out with a beautiful and classy high – heeled shoe only to come back with a slipper. To catwalk no be by force na
