Donfamous: One of the oldest wasys of grinding pepper,Still used it this morning, nothing cool about it o..its rather stressful but comes in handy when PHCN decides to do their worst. |
Amusaopeyemi: When we walk in the lordI love this hymn... |
The powdered beans is rubbish as it doesn't rise and its not fluffy like normal akara, you can only manage it if you soak the powder with warm water some minutes before frying. If your husband loves Akara so much he might like the one made from powdered beans. Just give it a trial. |
I see everybody talking about infidelity here of which it might be something else. Op. I think you need to do something fast so as to be sure your husband has not fallen into wrong hands, I mean a diabolic church where they use jazz on there members. Try finding out the name and address of the church and do an underground findings on the church. May God keep your home, commit all to God in prayers and do your part. |

Sleeksylvia: Life serving in d town is more expensive cos u may end up renting an apartment by urself while ur mates in Bodinga, Yabo or Shagari have corpers lodges and can come to town weneva dey want cos its abt 20 n 30 mins away and 100 to 200 naira (as at then sha). Cost of living is low and dere r benefits frm d host communities (I can vouch 4 where I served). Don't forget God, Don't trust pple u don't know even if dey r fellow corpers, be alert n security conscious. Always travel wit ur crested vest and cap(wen u get dem) 4 easy identification not forgettin ur I'd card. Don't go wit laptop cos u may not be allowd 2 use it in d camp and so it won't be stolenYou think so? I served in town and life is still very cheap, was given acomodation in my PPA too. You have given a wonderfull advice. |
Rdduite: Which other major Transport company other than the young shall grow ply south or east? please adviceI don't know cos I either go from Lagos or go from Kwara. Can't say much about there light now but light in Sokoto is not bad. Wishing you a fruitful stay all through. |
Egundare:Sokoto to Lagos is between 16 and 18 hours if you follow the young transport. |
Rdduite: Sis, i do've some couple of questions!Hmmmm. plenty questions o. I served last year and I didn't camp in wammako, I camped in farfaru but they have moved to wammako the permanent camp. The camp is very OK but don't know about the security situation. There is no type of food you want that they don't sell on camp as long as you have the money, there food is always #200 per plate and very OK. Sokoto is very developed o. a uni, polytechnic, nursing school, coll. of edu. and so on in the state capital. When you get there you will be surprised that the place is OK and very low cost of living. Just pray you are posted to the state capital. 7da8ad25. Note, am not in sokoto but I might be able to help. |
I'll say serving in Sokoto remains my best experience, please you don't have to relocate cos the place is very OK except for the distance and weather. But you guys are fortunate cos it neither harmattan or heat season so enjoy your stay in sokoto. A land flowing with milk and honey. |

Divepen. please update 'the reluctant bride' I beg u, I could not read it before the tsunami. |
Happy birthday to you ma, more of his glory. |
Reliable God I give you all the glory. You deserve my all, your name be praised. |
@Mynd44 I don't understand what you have been told but I don't carry that inferior mentality you mentioned in your post. It doesn't make any difference to me who is more successful as long as the home is running on perfectly well and we are both doing well. Just my take. |
Divepen. can you please post the rest of the reluctant bride? Thanks. |
Mynd44: Well I might be a wizard naEven if you are, you are seeing doubles. |
It seems some men feel threatened when their wives earn more than them, don't know why its like that but I'll definitely want my hubby to earn more than i do. |
Mynd44: I like your profile picture. Hot and sexy......you are awesomely beautifulAre you sure? There is no picture on my profile. |
@ Ihedinobi. I'll say its the sole responsibility of a man to provide and take care of his home but a woman can always assist. Thats why we are helpmeet. By the way, I like this thread. |
