Congratulations mama, may your joy know no bounds. I shock for this weekly scans from 7 to 38 weeks o, I'm 20 weeks and I've done 4 scans yet people around me are asking why I'm doing scan but I just love to hear that my baby is doing fine.

I've always wondered what cappo and waddling means tho

Cappo is the shortened form of captain while waddling is used for someone moving like a duck, you know walking is quiet difficult for heavily pregnant people.

Mamas come to my aid o, my tummy has been hardening up kind of, is it possible to have Braxton hicks at 18 weeks?

Its worrying kind of because it just becomes suddenly hard and eases off after sometime.

How I wish I did
I was advised to do it but as I was waiting for money to do it, I had membrane rupture of the lead twin(T1)'s
sac at 16wks+ so I started having liquor drainage/leakage, an Arabian pessary (alternative to cerclage) was inserted, the drainage/leakage stopped for 12hrs and started again as am typing this I'm in the hospital because I have been placed on bed rest with raised foot of the bed. More like hanging my legs but the liquor is still draining especially after any body movement including pee and poo even though the leakage is not much.

My problem now is that I have to be in hospital (bed rest) for as long as it will take the liquor to stop draining.
Experience Mamas and doctors in the house pls is there any thing I can do to stop this drainage? Pls I need ideas and
Suggestions.

I'm so sorry about this, I dont know what else can be done at this stage but be great assured that God is in control and you wont loose the second baby. Try to remain on the bed as much as possible.

It is well with you and as your name implies it is settled by Gods grace.

Cervical cerclage means tieing of the cervix to prevent premature delivery usually done between 14 to 18 weeks for people diagnosed with incompetent cervix.

I delivered at 37 weeks 2 days.
You may not need it, please dont self medicate.

No during pregnancy it calms the uterus and reduces cramps either from stretching or otherwise.. to reduce chances of miscarriage when the uterus is irritated/contracting

You are right, I took salbutamol tablet all through my twin pregnancy to reduce premature delivery.

Morning sickness is gone replaced with tiredness and body pain. I have a very obvious bump, my apron colleagues are asking when I'll go for mat leave I'm just telling them they never see anything yet.

Four different scans since week 20, it's either baby crosses legs or turns back. My last scan at 32 weeks, I just gave up. I will know when she/he comes.

I tried to know yesterday, went to a reputable diagnostic centre and even paid double just so we could check the sex but all I got is baby is doing fine with legs closed together. I'm 17 weeks though.

I experienced it with my 2 preggies and was told it was as a result of the ligaments expanding to accommodate the growing baby

Is it cramps? If it's just pain like you've overworked a muscle, it's just normal round ligament pain, or the pressure of your womb on your pelvis.

I also just experienced it with this pregnancy but it reduced seriously a few weeks after. If it's accompanied by back pain and cramps, please don't hesitate to go to the hospital.

No back pain at all just pains and cramps kind of, it's not reducing been experiencing for some weeks now thats why I'm worried. Next appointment is in e weeks.

Same here, I went through your posts and I'm 100% sure we are colleagues but not in same branch because I'm like the only pregnant person in my branch presently. I'm sure we will meet one of these days. Congratulations my teamie.

I'm 16 weeks plus and I'm having this terrible pain in my lower abdomen that radiates to my legs and pubic bones, it's kind of bearable but very painful and worrisome.
Can't remember experiencing this in my last pregnancy, anybody experiencing this please? I'm team october.

Been trying to do some googling and I see them talking round ligament pain

I'm seriously feeling pains in my lower abdomen and pelvic area even considering going for a scan.
