Characteristics of the Cushites

Naamah was the last surviving child of Cain and she was black, like her father Cain.

The curse of Noah may be a rejection of the incestuous child that Ham had conceived with Naamah who apparently was black.

Canaan was Noah's grandson born to him through Ham as we can see from the opening passage above.

We are meant to believe that it was Ham that wronged his father by both seeing his father's unclothedness and mocking him among his brothers.

But is this the reason why Noah will curse his grandson leaving Ham?

The biblical narrative isn't as simple as Moses intended us to believe.

There are however three parallel reasons why Canaan was cursed and these are:

1. Ham sodomized Noah

2. Ham Castrated Noah

3. Ham slept with Noah's wife - Naamah (daughter of Cain)

Out of the three, I will only discuss on the third as it appears to be the only credible reason why Noah will curse Canaan.

Naamah was the last surviving child of Cain (uncle to Noah).

We know this because, Naamah went into the Ark with Noah.
