Nobody is coming for anybody. I believe people will do whatever they like with their money. If an investment idea proposed does not sit well with them and they choose to go with what they understand it shouldn't be a bother to anyone.
Okay Sir. Just having a discussion with the Op Sir Thanks |

lionlee216: Dating African(Nigerians to be precise) is like an headache over here.. when I first got here, the first Nigerian lady I met, our conversation ended within minutes.
Girl : how long have you been here? Me : less than a year Girl : Do you have green card Me : No Girls stop responding
In the grocery store/Mall Me: Hi, You look beautiful. Whats your name ? AA : Thank you, that's wonderful sweet. My name is Tisha Me: Can I have your number and call you sometime? AA : Sure. There you go OR I'm sorry but I have a boyfriend.
The AAs are very straightforward in their conversation. They wont come to you with bills and other bullshit. They got their shit together.
Me : Whats up, whsts your plan for the tomorrow/weekend Nigerian Girl: I dont have free time. I'm always busy. Me : Oh, I'm thinking if we can hangout for a bit Girl : Why? Me : Nevermind
One thing is AA makes is very easy for Nigerian guys to ask them out. They are always friendly. Its either they like you or they don't.
Dating Nigerian girls will be like Lionlee, I told u about my bills, how much do u want to be helping me with monthly
The moment they get laid, they automatically assume you are in relationship.
Nigerian Girl : where are you? Look at the time. Do you know the last time you called me last? You just chatting me since 4hrs ago?
AA : What's up babe, i haven't heard from you and I guess you are busy. Carry on with your day. Text me when you can. Miss you.
The list is so unending.. The sweetest thing that can ever happen to you is to date an AA woman that is educated(At least Bachelor degree).
If i grew up here, i for sure know I will never get married. Me getting here opened my eye to marriage. Why get married when you can always get everything in a marriage with your partner without getting married?
I really feel for Single/Unmarried Nigerian girls here. I really do.
The one i met last was 37yrs. You clearly put on your dating app you are looking for something serious. You gave me your number. Response always slow, add me to whatsapp, You no gree! Send me some of your pictures, Na wahala saying she doesn't take pictures. Ask AA girls for pictures, you will see a mature response. After sending pictures they will tell you when the pics were taken and location.
Advice for my Nigerian girls? Have a white friend and AA as friend and learn from them

JBiden: "Show me your friends and I'll tell you who you are"
"If you want to be rich, find rich friends"
"Na condition make crayfish bend"
Most Nigerians mingle with people who see opening shawarma spots as "solid" investments, what then do you expect from people like that?
People who have lived abroad where financial literacy is what will keep you in a 25,000sq.f mansion or living on the street will definitely absorb some of that investing intelligence to apply to their own lives.
However, even investing in some Nigerian companies is not worth it, mismanagement is our middle name. And the companies that manage to turn a profit are very few. Gbam. Overall, financial intelligence seems to be the core of the issue 4 Likes |

dasparrow:
With what visa are you trying to enter a foreign country with precisely? Because to "hustle" legally you will need a work permit or permanent residency for the country you intend going to. To get a work permit for a western country is not easy at all talkless of permanent residency which can take years. It does not even matter how much money you currently have because that money will run out quick once you have to start paying rent, utility bills and groceries in your new country of residence.
Too many Nigerians I have noticed have enough money for airline ticket but do not have sufficient money to live relatively comfortable in the western world long enough until they can obtain either a work permit or permanent residency.
In addition, Nigerians are not aware that immigration policies are getting tougher and tougher each year. Even countries that are considered developing countries are making it extremely difficult for immigrants and potential immigrants how much more advanced countries.
I am not trying to discourage you. I am not saying you shouldn't migrate but what I am saying is be realistic. I see too many Nigerians stuck here abroad suffering. They couldn't get their papers (work permit, permanent residency permit, naturalized citizenship) as they had hoped for. They have no money to survive and before you know it, they start engaging in crime just to survive thereby soiling the already damaged reputation of Nigeria further. There is a reason why foreign missions in Nigeria make it so difficult for Nigerians to obtain a visa.
Many of you think that we are picking money on the streets here abroad but that's a fallacy. If you are able to get at least a work permit that will enable you to legally pick up employment in the country you are planning to migrate to, then by all means make the move. However, if you are thinking of coming on a tourist visa with the hope of overstaying, you will be making a big mistake.
Many of these Western countries are voting in leaders lately who are leaning towards conservative, right wing, anti-immigrant ideologies and don't want people from so-called "shithole" countries coming to their countries in search of the proverbial greener pastures except if you are perhaps a professional with skills being highly sought after in these advanced nations, example medical professionals for instance.
So think about all I have said considering that you are already married with a child. If you get stuck abroad for years on end, don't complain when another man starts taking care of your wife's sexual needs. After all, body no be firewood. Your child also needs you the father. Just saying.
- From a concerned foreign-born Nigerian residing legally in the diaspora You've spoken like a sage. Well done Sir |
