Is it proper for a wife to always respond to everything her husband says whenever there are conflicts between them? i make no apologies for travelling without a visa, ve got my nigerian passport so no bribe in future, i was not crying in public, the whole thing lasted for less than half an hour, i had no time to apply for an emergency visa, my boss would not allow me to take a day offer to go to the embassy either, i would advise any1 to get a visa, CASE CLOSED,

i'm not exactly sure of howto go about getting a visa from nigeria, though i've read a lot of accounts of people going thruough agents and all of that. A good way however will be to go to emirates airlines and make enquiries.

look for the closest UAE embassy or consulate around you they should be able to help.
What nationality are you? some nationals do not need visas to travel to the UAE although, there is a stipulated time for them to leave. A UAE visa is pretty easy to get and quite cheap also. There are a lot of topics on here telling folks how to get one.

I think its pretty unfair to compare people that do not live in the same location. If what you're saying should be taken into consideration, then where does that place black women that were born in 'white' societies?
You seem to be mixing the issue of races with skin colour. They are two clearly distinct things. Moreso the upbringing and standards you talk about are dependent on the individual and not the skin color. That we have a couple of loose canons doesnt mean anyone with white skin is loose OR that a white person raised in a 'white' society is loose. It all boils down to each individual's upbringing and values as a human being. Granted, some societies are less tolerant of certain behaviors than others, doesnt necessarily mean every member of the said societies act/believe in those things.
