Like there's no authentication for it, just capture and it will accept it once it's clear.

And for the thumb, it can capture any of the fingers so far it is clean.
So no provisions for the authentication of it

In the bvas, the thumbprint and face capture don't read have meaningful fuction to me.
Cos, one person can register for than 10 people using either the same fingers or different fingers same as face capture.

In my polling unit, we gave the chance to the 2 parties to vote just for 3 people max cos time is not on our side. And it's because they begged us well, that's why we gave them chance
Because they complained that their voters card didn't come out Buh their names appears on the list of registered voters.

So we use their vins.

To me, it's the party agents that can still prevent rigging abit.
Else, in a polling unit, a party can make use of all the registered voters as their accredited voters meanwhile in real life, maybe only half of them voted. While others were voted in a 'crook means'.

If the BVAS can read and accept the Thumbprint of someone else as the Thumbprint of another person,, then, that's a system error..

And it is INEC’s fault.

The BVAS is not that easy.
Anambra Election didn't use Manual Accreditation,, you know why??
Because Electronic Register was used.
And there was no where it was mandated in the Old Electoral Act 2010 (as amended) that Manual Register Must Be used.
The “Voter Register” was mentioned.
And this time, the Voter Register that was used was an Electronic Register...
And it allowed us to see the power of the BVAS

Oga i worked as INEC ad-hoc staff in the just concluded Osun election.

Forget about bvas Abeq. In a polling unit if they want all the registered voters to appear as accredited voters it's very possible.

Since the vIN alongside details is always posted.
To be able to vote, bvas requires you verify the person through VIN, or last name or Scan the bar code.

This one is called “Voter Identification”
i.e, confirming that the voter information is in the database, and supposed to be at the required Polling-Unit..
Technically,, anyone can do this for up-to 100 people sef,, so far he knows their names, or that he has their cards.

Then check the details, then the voters will thumbprint or you capture their face.

But you see this one here?? Only one person can do it at a time.
It is called “Voter Authentication” which means, Voter Verification..
Thus, they can identify 470 voters,, but only 230 were verified (i.e, authenticated).
Then,, only 230 people would vote...
And not the identified 470..

Oga, one person can register for 20 people so long he has their VIN

I am really just curious as to "why can't we just print more money and solve the poverty problem in the country?"

Terms like "inflation" and the "devaluing of the naira" are the usual buzz answers to that question. Also, people give the example that if we were to print more money and just give everyone N5,000,000 for example, then everyone would go out and buy things, thus making "THINGS" more scarce and in short supply and hence driving up the prices of things (simple demand/supply economics). But herein lies the catch for me... With TRUE unemployment rate somewhere around 33% in the country, if DEMAND for "THINGS" rose, then I would think that companies would WANT to hire more people and build more processing plants to keep up with demand and raise their profits. So, the influx of cash (printed money) would seem to solve the unemployment problem.

Again, we have agencies that regulates pricing in the economy: PPPRA, Price Control Board (Ministry of Commerce) etc, with those, can't the likely over pricing of commodities (THINGS) be controlled and gazetted to avoid the story of "too much money chasing fewer goods"?

In the final analysis, a robust and health competitive economy would have been created and underemployment issues largely solved.
