BATified2023:
name 5 things Peter obi did better than Tinubu as governor?
1. Road Infrastructure..
Peter-Obi did far many more roads (than Tinubu), which was the most-needed infrastructure at that time, (and still is at the moment).
You can list all Tinubu’s Infrastructural Projects if you like, let's compare.

2. Health.. (the details are there in the open)
3. Education.. (the details are also out there in the open)
......
4. Citizens Participation in Government.
Citizens had several nopportunities to directly interact with Peter-Obi and tell him what to do and what not to do (through audience-participatory radio/tv direct audience-interview programs).
(Tinubu never gave such cherished opportunities to Lagosians.. He only listens to his cronies and allies)

5. Debts.. (Should I talk about this one too??) Anambra was the least indebted state.
6. Savings.. (Should I also talk about this one?)
His frugality was second to none.

7. Blockage of Financial Leakages.
He blocked off leakages both in the various offices of civil servants, and those of public servants, and even Government appointees..
There were no excesses, neither were there people spending above their means, or trying to intimidate people with untold wealth.

Can you say that about Tinubu?
He practically institutionalized poverty in Lagos State.
Both Civil Servants and Public Servants are either lazy, or are begging, or are toutish, or are looking for endless gratifications, some are even fraudulent, some others even bring in combinations of these vices.
(They call it being street-wise..)

8. Wealth-Creaton and wealth distribution and redistribution..
During the time of Peter-Obi, the GDP-PER-CAPITA of Anambra State Was higher than what The GDP-PER-CAPITA of Lagos was under Tinubu.. Ok. Even the Growth in the GDP-PER-CAPITA of both states when compared, The Anambra Growth was remarkable..
Tinubu taxed Lagosians to an almost bleeding-point.
Taxes and State IGR are not the true measures of the wealth and well-being of the people in any state..
IT IS THE GDP-PER-CAPITA OF THE STATE..
(If the statistics are well gathered, then, the MODAL GDP-PER-CAPITA is the best average, and not the MEAN GDP-PER-CAPITA)

NOW YOUR TURN.....

Name 5 THINGS which TINUBU did better than PETER-OBI as governor?

Tinubu is avoiding the topic of CORRUPTION like a plague..
(Same as Atiku)....

Does that mean that there is no more corruption in Nigeria??
Or that, he doesn't (or rather, they don't) have the moral justification to start saying anything about corruption, based on past antecedents, or some hidden future agenda.??

Peter Obi should never obsesse himself or deceive anyone of fighting any fucking corruption as is the dirty gimmick Buhari used but simply block any loophole avenues for corruption.
Buhari promised to chase after corrupt Officials.
That was exactly what he did.
But he left the leakages open, and thus corruption never stopped.
The dimensions and methods of the corruption even widened.

Peter Obi is promising to block the leakages.
(Just as you pointed out).
And that is exactly what he will do.
He had done it before when he was Governor in Anambra, so he can always do it again and again.

And no matter the new methods they bring, he will always block them off.

Upright Character happened to be the main reason Peter Obi is getting popular.
Then, he has capacity, capability, and competence..
Then also, he is compassionate and committed to the Nigerian struggle and dreams.
He is very credible.

Buhari got popular in 2015 because of his integrity and upright character.
But then, after character, what else.??
He has no capacity and competence, and then, he has no compassion and commitment to the true Nigerian struggle and dreams.

Bluntsisi:
MY OPEN LETTER TO MR. PETER OBI.

Dear Mr. Peter Obi.

We all know that the MAIN problem with Nigeria is corruption.

Corruption had crippled every sector in Nigeria, starting from Security, to Defence, to Justice, to Economy, to Education, to Health, to Commerce, to Infrastructure, to Social Development, even to having fun.
EVERYTHING.!!

So, Dear Peter...
Whenever again anybody asks you what you're going to do about any sector, just take your time to point out the exact corruption that is happening in that sector, and then, just say that you're going to block off all the possible leakages which are feeding such corrupt practices.

If they further ask you how you're going to stop the leakages, you can tell them that you would achieve such by the full implementation of the RULE OF LAW, and by adhering to the “international standard practices and methods” for doing things.
And it’s Really That Simple.

The Rule of Law is there guide our actions and inactions, and then, there are standard practices and methods for doing things.

Our main problem in Nigeria is that we do things our own ways, and we do things for personal benefits, and then nobody cares about doing things that are beneficial to everyone, but yet, we continue to expect good results.
And we are asking our Presidential Candidates what they would do differently...

The only thing any “Patriotic” President would do differently in Nigeria right now is to always do what is right, and then, find genuine ways to make every single citizen to also do what is right always.

Trust me Sir..
No other person amongst the other contestants can boldly have the courage to say such a thing.
IT'S ONLY YOU SIR.!!

So, Please Sir.,
Stop following them in beating about the bush while doing campaigns.
They are building upon fake promises, and fake hopes, and talking about fake plans on what to do about the security and the economy.

BUT THE ONLY RIGHT THING TO DO, IS TO STOP THE CORRUPTION.!!

You need to only campaign with the very fact that “You truly want to fix the foundation of our national existence by doing what is right as the President”, AND THEN, TO FIX THE NIGERIAN SYSTEM IN SUCH A WAY THAT THE SYSTEM NATURALLY CAUSES THE CITIZENS (AND RESIDENTS ALIKE) TO ALWAYS WANT TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT TOO, AND ALSO, WHAT IS BENEFICIAL TO EVERYONE.
Gratifications, Rewards, and Payments can come later, but let the right things be the most important factor in our daily dealings,, AND NOT “GETTING MONEY”.

In reality, if YOU really never wanted to fix all those bad things, you wouldn't have noticed them in the first place.
But since you had been noticing them, please keep it up.
It means that you really wanted to fix them.
Please keep noticing all those faults, and keep saying it very loud and clear -- “That you are going to fix them using the rule of law, and by making them to follow the standard methods and practices”.

Dear Mr. Peter-Obi..

You're really different.
And you're actually doing the right thing at the moment.

Please don't stop.
Don't be like them.
Don't join them in their low-character games.
They will beat you at such games.
Be Yourself Sir.
Do Your Best.
It is the voters that you need, and not political allies and their money.

Honestly, Soludo just used the contractor as a fall guy in his desperate attempts to rebuild his damaged reputation.

It's obvious that work is going on there so why terminate the contract and also publicize it in such manner

Soludo, you better work for Anambra state to save your ass and not this stunts grin grin

Is that how contracts are being terminated?
If that Contractor takes him (and the Government of Anambra State) to court for damaging his public image with that video,, the Government won't escape the judgement ooo

How can he just terminate the contract like that, just on phone call?

Politics / The Fraudulent Anambra State Commissioner For Works - Right Under Soludo’s Nose by Bluntsisi: 1:04am On Nov 22, 2022
IFEANYI OKOMA: THE FRAUDULENT ANAMBRA STATE COMMISSIONER FOR WORKS - INSIDE SOLUDO’S CURRENT CABINET.

An unprecedented fraud masterminded by Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma is currently going on in the Anambra State Ministry of Works. It is yet to be established whether he is executing the script of his principal, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, or whether he is acting alone, or for other persons.

Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma who has been working for Prof. Soludo since his days at the CBN as a Contractor and as a Consultant, is also a close associate of Soludo's in-law, Engr. Emeka Ezenwanne - who is currently in charge of the governor's kitchen cabinet.

Recall that Soludo campaigned vigorously with the urban renewal of Okpoko - a suburb of the Onitsha metropolis - which resulted in the 9 Roads that were awarded for reconstruction at Okpoko, being the very first contract of the present administration.
Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma designed the road by himself - using RB Consults as proxy.

Sadly, after several months of awarding the contract, it cannot take off because the design is a mess and cannot serve the purpose for which the project was awarded. He is running helter skelter to find a way around it so that Ndi Anambra does not run out of patience and start seeing the government bad light.

It was found out that he (or the proxy Consultant) never visited the roads in order to have on-the-spot assessment of the roads before designing.

This is also the case with all the roads that were awarded so far, as he uses Google Earth in the comfort of his office to churn out shoddy designs, then rip off the government millions of naira using proxy consulting firms.

These “faulty and shoddy designs” is the main reason why none of the projects that were flagged off so far has commenced in earnest, despite the 50% mobilization fees paid to contractors.

NIGERCAT equipments, for instance, are lying idle at a location at Abakaliki Street close to BON Hotel despite the fact that their project “UNIZIK Junction - Isuanaocha and Okpuno Roads” was flagged off nearly a month ago.
Same is the case with NBHH Construction Limited at Okpoko, after over two months of project flag off.
The same is also the case with GELD Construction Limited at the “Amansea – Awba Ofemmili” Project.
The Storm water control works at Old Enugu-Onitsha Road Ogbunike is currently in a messy situation, as the faulty design being executed is not fit for purpose.
The Mmiri John section of the Umuoji – Ojoto road remains unexecutable despite the expiration of the contract duration.

Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma has fraudulently packaged a pre-contract Consultancy design fee of over N900m (Nine hundred million naira) for less than half of the Roads awarded which Prof. Soludo has surprisingly approved.

More Consultancy fees will still be paid on same projects as Post Contract Consultancy fees.
The entire money goes to Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma and whoever he is acting his script, as he is the one who does the substandard designs himself using RB Consults and others as proxies.

The dry season has arrived, and none of the projects awarded has taken off in earnest.

Ndi Anambra deserve to know why.!!

“Amansea - Ebenebe - Awba Ofemili Road” which was initially proposed to last at least 30years has been reduced to 10years in an internal arrangement with the contractor, because of faulty designs, yet Ndi Anambra are made to believe that the road has a guaranteed life span of 30 years.
It is the case for all the projects awarded so far, as all the designs produced by the Commissioner using proxy Consultancy firms are all faulty, shoddy, and substandard.

There are also allegations that the commissioner strikes deals with the new contractors brought into the system, with an understanding that they part with a share from their payments.
Only such companies are selected to bid for major contracts, hence the reason you have TEC, NBHH, AG VISION, DATUM, NIGERCAT, GELD and TRICONSTRUCTION being the only companies awarded new huge jobs.
Any other company that were given jobs are only doing revalidated projects from previous administration, or rehabilitation of an existing infrastructure.

Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma owns JIL Engineering based at Enugu, which is currently the Contractor that is handling the Access Road to Green Valley Estate Awka for the Anambra State Housing Corporation whose MD/CEO is Prof. Soludo’s childhood friend Hon. Chike Anyaonu.

Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma is also the Consultant that is currently handling the construction of the International Convention Center (ICC) Awka, for which many structural failures have been exposed.

Thus, Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma is a Contractor, a Consultant, and the Commissioner for Works, all in the same Anambra State - which is inappropriate - as it amounts to conflict of interest.

All the projects awarded so far has no records in the Ministry of Works Archives, as the Commissioner does not want the Ministry of Works staff to know the secret deals which he is striking.

Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma uses the labourers in his firm at Enugu to usurp the responsibilities of the Ministry of Works engineers, and to write off huge amounts of money as their payments.

These unqualified labourers handled the rehabilitation of the Amansea section of the Enugu-Onitsha Old Road, which unsurprisingly failed a week after commissioning, after the government had spent millions of naira on the project.

The EFCC are currently investigating the contracts that were executed under the immediate past administration.
From what is currently going on at the Anambra State Ministry of Works, the EFCC will quickly jail the dubious Commissioner, Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma, if they investigate the Contracts that had been awarded so far since Soludo assumed office.

If Mr. Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo, is not an accomplice in this monumental fraud, then he is advised to ask Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma to immediately step aside while an independent investigation is conducted.

It is sad that in less than one year of Prof. Soludo’s administration, a lot of fraudulent activities are already going on in the Ministry of Works, and indeed, in most of the other government establishments - including the Bureau of Public Procurement, where contractors who are handling big projects are expected to part with at least N1m (One Million naira) in cash, in order to have their contract documents processed.
