Kudos to ymodulu,s let me just say this, the only way to make it in life is by solving problems, you are a solution to some people problems likewise you are a problem to some people solutions. Sit down and think about problems people are facing in your environment, think on how you can solve the problems by selling a product, come up with ideas and make research. Let me sight an example, as a student in my school, I know very well the main problem of most students is electricity, what does that implies to you? A market for powerbank, battery mini iron, solar lamp e.t.c There are so many problems around you, think and start solving them today. |

ekolina:I only asked a simple question, please respond to the question first. |
zurine:Please can you show us pictures of those universities, most of those new universities are in a sorry state due to lack of facilities and buildings yet they claim to be releasing huge funds to develop those universities. |

bossmini84:Boss am sure you went to school. Akwa-ibom Igr will surpass that in a year and if it doesn't, it is their government problem for relying on federal allocation. You have to divide the total money by the population of each state. Akwa-ibom has about 5 million people compare to 20 million people in lagos, it a simple economics I learnt in my ss1 days sir. |

bossmini84:What is akwa ibom allocation compared to lagos. What is the population of lagos compared to akwa ibom. Do you know akwa ibom is richer than lagos. |
manutdadex:No comparing, the rule is simple tell us the projects in akwa ibom and it will be great if you can help with pictures. |

I have been in politics section for a while, and have seen how people criticize governors from other states when they can not even mention their own state talkless of criticizing their governors. They even went as far as digging the allocation for the different states and the IGR, yet they never care about what their state governor is using their money for. Before you criticize what other governors are doing with their state funds, why don't you tell us what your own governor is doing, some will say fashola is an overhyped achiever, It only natural for us to praise the good projects we can see at the same time use constructive criticism in criticizing the governments when they are lagging behind. Instead of complaining that one governor is over praised, show us the projects of your state governor and let praise him together if he merit it. Thank you. My own state is kwara state and I can say my state governor has not done well. The only area I can give him a pass mark is the health sector, where he rehabilitated and equipped all the general hospitals in the state . In all other sectors, he is a failure. |
[/color] nigerianvenom:word of mouth is not convincing enough, show us his projects in akwa ibom and I will show you fashola projects. Come to think of it, if fashola and akpabio should contest for president , who do you think will win? biafranqueen:What if the projects are still standing firm after three years and more, will you come back to apologize here? |
Why not ask your president why he is feeding with over 1 billion naira. Whether you like it or not fashola is the best governor at present, If only gej can work as fashola is working with all the available resources my country will be a better place to live in. |
Instead of all this tongue lashing, who is ready to challenge me on a picture contest of developments work going on in the two states. |
chukwudi44:You talk like an illiterate but it not entirely your fault that you pass through a failed educational system. |
jonuel1:during obj tenure the niger delta militants was also destabilizing the government , do you know how much the government spent on amnesty during yaradua regime, where militants were earning close to #60000 monthly without working |
Nigeria’s Federal Government will spend N63.28 billion on Niger Delta former militants in 2014, figures in the new budget reveal. Out of the amount, stipends and allowance for an estimated 30,000 militants will gulp N23.6 billion, about half of the N48billion spent on the militants in 2012. This year, a programme for the re-integration of the militants will also cost the Nigerian treasury N35billion. Two years ago, the programme of re-integration cost N924million. Operational cost for the running of the programme called Presidential Amnesty Programme is estimated at N3.7 billion, far less than the N12.8billion spent in 2012. Niger Delta Ex-Militants: amnesty Programme to cost N63b There is an additional charge of N546million this year, meant for what is called ‘reinsertion, transition safety allowances for 3,642 former militants who fall under a third phase of the amnesty programme. Statistically, Nigeria will spend an estimated N2million on every militant captured by the programme this year. Last year, the amnesty programme gulped N66.28 billion. It gulped N66.17 billion in 2012. In contrast, the Federal Government proposes to spend just N2billion on a pilot initiative to ameliorate the poverty in Nigeria’s Northeast, where a five year insurgency by Boko Haram militants has cost thousands of lives, and created a climate of insecurity. The Federal Government special allocation to the three states of Borno, Adamawa and Yobe, represents just a part of what the programme will cost as the states in the region are also expected to make contributions. Foreign and local analysts have blamed the raging insurgency in the region to poverty and have called on the government to do something about it. The Federal response to these calls, which President Jonathan hinted at a programme in Gombe recently is the N2billion allocation. While the amnesty programme for the Niger Delta militants takes 6.8 per cent of the ‘consolidated revenue fund charges’ estimated at N925.1 billion, Nigeria proposes to spend just about N8billion on job creation scheme, an acute national crisis and another N1billion on ‘Quick Win’, an empowerment programme in which Nigerian youths compete for Federal assistance to start their own enterprises.
