Nigermaurice: I find those among them who grab my attention beautiful and strong and a trait I particularly admire is they are very forward and can be quite frank when need arises,I don't see this trait very often among my beloved women which may come off as rude to some African guys. So yeah I think they're beautiful. Black African girls especially pure sub-saharans are always shortlisted in my preference book, but not being able to foresee the future and loving a person's heart more than race, I would marry one if I truly loved her without hesitation over a holy motherland born black African princess more sub saharan than me. Most African parents would be unsettled at first, but if the girl were hardworking and respectful and sincerely wanted to be a part of the culture then she may as well have been born African, with how thoroughly she would be accepted. I know my parents wouldn't mind and with the factor of already being black it'd be made much easier. I care about African Americans and would marry one of their kin, if they'd approve and I loved her, well, more if I loved her.

(Please note these are by and large just my opinions, though I'm a born and bred Nigerian and pure sub saharan African)

Well after hundreds of years of being concept 7, on block B.. the concept 7's have mixed and mingled with the captures and natives of block B so much so that, they no longer can be legitimately referred to as being exactly the same people as the concept 0's. Well that is part of your history. I mean, your ancestors are the ones who captured and sold your fellow Africans/tribal Negro to the Europeans to be placed into slavery here in the US and other western settlements. If you're going to go hard on being all "tribal" and promote the return to your "tribal" roots and such, then you cant pick and choose what parts to acknowledge. What? All women have nice hair, though some manage it properly and some done't. I know of currently and known in the past women of all races and creeds who wore/wear weave. Not only non-horner black women wear weave, or as white chicks like to refer to it as "hair extensions". Most women like to wear their hair in all different styles, from short styles to long haired styles. Yet natural hair is not meant to accommodate such continuous cutting and regrowth, perms, dying, curling and all other kinds of mess these women do to their hair, and so after a while the hair and scalp will become worn out and simply start to break down, a noticeable irregular growth pattern will start to take place, and they'll begin noticing that their hair starts to take longer to grow, or that it'll begin growing uneven, or will grow to a certain short length and just stop growing after that.

So to counter this issue, many women get hair extensions or weave, wigs and so on, to make the jump from a short haired style to a long haired style. It's common among all women, yet it's most talked about with black women for the simple fact of that black women often use hair in which is not their natural grade/type in their extension process.

Do nothing. Once you get in to your early 30's, your metabolism will naturally slow down and you will begin to rapidly pick up weight over time from that point. You will then need to begin monitoring your weight gain so that you don't become obese.

I have an observation though; how come we don't have "black Americans" returning home or identifying with Nigeria as they do in other African countries :-/

Nigeria is unstable and not as welcoming. Plus the nation and people have a really bad rep. for being tricky and thieving; things in which most tourist don't want to be bothered with while trying to enjoy themselves on vacation. The other nations you've mentioned have actually taken the time and care to promote and build coalitions with the AA community in order to strike interest in us to come and spend time there.
