I've got a question for you, which I already know the answer to, but would like to see how well or poorly your knowledge on the subject is. My question is, why were so many African kingdoms so willing to sell off fellow African into slavery to the Europeans, and due you think Africa's history of total failure.. post slavery is due to being cursed for it's actions during the slave trade? Many are of the opinion that the continent is eternally cursed via wishes of a mass of slaves who places curses and spells on the continent and remaining people as they were being shipped away across the ocean to the Americas. I actually believe this to be true. |
KingMichael777: Hey guys. Can any of you guys recommend me any? Films similar to the Congolese movie Riva Viva. High quality films would be nice.Tarzan. |
1 Batallian? That's it? LOL, that aint ish; that's only like 300 to 1200 new solders to at to the nations minuscule 75,000 total military personal. |
Piddo: It is not yet Uhuru for Nigerians. At face value, this appears a laudable project but has anyone bothered to think how the investors will make their money back? You and I will pay for it for over many decades to come. Upon completion, the FG will ban importation of petroleum products and Nigerians will have to pay the rate dictated by the "investors" for their product. If only the FG was honest about fighting corruption, fixing the nations 4 refineries would have been best for Nigerians but now we have invited people in with billions of dollars and surely, its no charity!! Nigerians will pay dearly for it in the end.No you wont, it'll be we Americans whom will be paying fort.. in that the refineries in which they'll be building over there will replace the many in which they've closed here over the last 2 years. There was a big stink made about it over here in the US recently, because all up and down the east coast refineries were being closed and or downsized due to complaints of the owners insinuating that the operational costs where too much, primarily because of labor expenses. Many of the companies stated that it'll be more cost effective for them to refine the oil over seas and imported the finished products to the US than to refine it here in the US. This was just a year and half to 2 years ago, and it's obvious that this Nigerian investment is a result of that. |
Hero: You're an obvious ignoramus, not worth wasting time on--- though today a have a bit of time to burn, so I'll bless you with an answer.Genius. See how well this dude cut and diced that dude up so effortlessly, without even once badmouthing Nigerians or Africans as a whole, he didn't put the blame on whitey or attack the one who was clearly trying to instigate a negative response. Hero was a very knowledgeable man, and classy too. I love reading his stuff. |
ug k.o.n.y:All of what I wrote there is the truth. |
MandingoII: Thanks!, I could add 500 pages to this, This dude was hilarious. |
Billyonaire: No one is complaining, we are saying....why cast a bleak future about our country, and tell the entire world and your citizen its not safe to live here but they are expanding their consular presence ? Its gets us thinking and reasoning.Actions speak better than words. It was never stated that Americans should not go to Nigeria, but rather that they should do so with extreme caution while if they planned on traveling in the North and or South East. |
This is a big investment into the Nigerian economy by the US gov. It'll give a lot of jobs to Nigerian construction workers. Why you'all complaining for? By the way, embassy grounds are considered sovereign territory of the nation it represents; and they can put pretty much whatever they want on it. So if the US wants to put a marine base, CDC, Defense Department or even a damn nuclear launch site on that piece of land it can do so. |
MsDarkSkin: @jenifa "d proper african" um NO.Obviously you didn't understand the context of her comment. She was refering to those slave in which were brought to the US. The Igbo were by far the single largest group in number to be brought the US, and that is obvious and certain fact. |
MsDarkSkin: @darapture,, you fried chicken with extra hot sauce eating oloshiProof? Ha, I laugh in Patios. No it's your azz in which you have out there, and far from the truth. Aint it just like a half breed, such as yourself to continuously bad mouth one side of themselves in their attempt to make themselves seem more accepted in their favored side. I've been observing you and see clearly that you have classic mixed up Mulatto syndrome, in cultural form as apposed to racial. You're about as Jamaican as the macaroni and cheese, collard greens and corn bread served at the Jamaican Buffet down the way from my house. You're little more than a confused one of the thousands of AA half breeds lost in limbo, looking for an identity to latch on to.You want to feel special and different, so you try your hardest to latch on to some Jamo gibberish, and make every attempt at badmouthing who you REALLY are, an AA plain and simple.. and talking up that in which you're clearly not, JAMO.. in a foul attempt to fit in where you clearly don't belong!! Spewing out a bunch of Jamo catch phrases, listening to Jamo music, while falsifying historical facts of your AA history in a foul attempt to prove your worthyness to Jamo's isn't going to make you anymore Jamo than you clearly already aren't, AKATA girl. STOP the shenanigans, because it aint cute or clever; now that's the truth being put out their for that azz, and not those lies you were yapping about. Now take that and go blow it out your Spiffy. |
MsDarkSkin: OBVIOUSLY i cut some of the reply out...i read it all and it is VERY interesting....Of course it's true, all of it's the absolute truth. I'm... I mean, Hero, is obviously a very intelligent person. |
