My friend gave my number to her cousin because he saw me with her and he told her he liked me. So we were talking on the phone and Facebook for awhile and he talked like a gentleman. So after a long time of chatting we decided to meet up at his uncle’s place on a weekend since it was his uncle’s birthday and my friend was also going to be there.

It was getting late and I wanted to leave but my friend convinced me to stayed and I agreed although I wasn’t comfortable, around midnight this guy texted me that he was outside so I went to meet him and from gist he started touching me weirdly, I asked him to stop and he refused he said he was my boyfriend and he has the right to have sex with me. I refused, the next thing heavy slap! I was still in shock he wanted to tear my clothes, I started begging he refused! The more I cried the more he hit me! I started bleeding from my mouth, the next thing he brought out this knife key holder and put it on my neck and said he will kill me and nobody will know.


As he said that I just started laughing, I was just laughing, I laughed! He was looking at me like a mad woman. I was just laughing and laughing and laughing and laughing maniacally. The guy just fear! I fell on my knees put my face in my palm and I was just laughing, I was in that position for awhile and when I raised my head up he was gone.

A gentleman called me today and asked why i haven't gotten a car yet since November last year...

So sir to answer ur question...

So i posted on nairaland on the 13th day of November 2019 about seeking for a driving job or a car to be used for E hailing...on the 17th day November 2019 i got a text (and) from a very nice gentleman that saw my post on this platform asking that we meet the next day to discuss.
Well, we met the next day, in summary of our discussion he wanted my service for a month to teach his wife how to drive cos he own a Honda EOD. Which we both concluded (agreed) was not good for ehailing but that inbetween the one month that I'll be teaching his wife to drive we'll both source for a tokunbo Honda civic that i will use for the e hailing. We negotiated a fee and i started that day, boss (my employer) even gave me an advance payment for my transport and all (cos i stay close to the airport while his house is at lugbe fha)

Mind you people here were calling me enquiring if i still needed a car and i was humbling declining all offers stating to them that i have gotten a car already.

Well to cut a long story short, after the exhaustion of the one month period, my current boss duly stated that the money he was expecting to get the car didn't turn up(like things didn't really turn out as expected) so he can't get a car for me to use for E hailing, but he went ahead and offer his EOD if i can use it for the main time which i accepted(went for Uber/bolt/ocar inspections got activated and was ready to commence work) but you see, there was a little hiccups cos he wanted me to be parking the car in his house whenever i close from work and come in the morning to drive madame to her shop before taking it to work, also am not to work on Sundays as he will be driving it to church every Sunday and he wants me to be remitting 25K every week. I couldn't take up the offer cos besides the fact that EOD is not a good car for E hailing i could see that my Oga wanted to eat his cake and have it.
So i just humbling decline his offer.

And that is why i came back searching for a partner.

I got married to my wife in 2018 and there's already an issue that is threatening our young marriage.

We dated briefly 10 years ago before she travelled to the US for schooling. She stayed there for a while and then got into a relationship over there with a guy i know (I wasn't close friends with the guy). I had to move on with my life and got into a relationship of my own here in Nigeria.
Back then, i use to have this silly habit of creating anonymous facebook accounts where i would add people i know and comment on their posts and pictures without them ever knowing i was the one. I dropped many comments back then and one such incident happened to be a time i commented on her close friend's picture, telling her (the friend) she was pretty and how i wanted her. This was almost 10 years ago and i swear i never meant any of those words. It was just a silly joke and i had completely forgotten all that.
My wife returned Nigeria in 2016 and somehow we reconnected and got married in 2018.

Just last week, she stumbled on those posts i made in 2010-2011 and got really heartbroken and upset. Right now, even after pleading with her, she says she wants to quit the marriage. She packed a few of her stuff and travelled home to Abia state from our base in Lagos. So far, what she told her family in the east is that she just came back to visit them for a little while because she couldn't come back during xmas.
Now she's threatening that i won't see my 1 year old son anytime soon cos she's already making plans of relocating abroad for good.


Please my question is this; Do you think this issue is enough to cause this kind of disharmony in our home?
What do you advice?

I think the higher purchase option is better because you will have the privileges of doing some late nite hustle unlike the rental, the owner could give you time to bring his/her car and take it the following day which might be stressful depending on your distance to the owner's place.
