BusinessHow My Wife's Younger Brother Became A Millionaire... by Boade123(op): 1:35pm On Jan 12, 2021
Compliments friends.

My wife's younger brother is just 23years, he studies in The Polytechnic Ibadan, Saki Campus.
He was dead broke 1year ago and he is now a Millionaire.

The last time he visited me and her elder sister who happens to be my wife was 3years ago when he came to write the JAMB he used to gain admission into the Polytechnic.

Recently, he sent 20k to my wife's account as my son's birthday gift. This surprised my wife because she never expected his younger brother who is still in school to be able to afford that amount of money as a gift to her baby.

To shorten the story, early Dec, 2020, my wife received the news that his brother bought a new lexus car and took it home to show his dad and mum. Since that time, my wife' mum has been psychologically unstable because she believes her son has gone into yahoo stuff or rituals and my wife has stopped calling and receiving his calls.

I tried to interrogate the boy about the source of his wealth but he keeps telling me he is into bitcoin business. I was very skeptical about his response because, those profiting from bitcoin are those that have thousand or millions to invest, or those that bought bitcoin when it was cheap about 3 to 5years ago but this guy doesn't know anything about bitcoin 3years ago and he doesn't have millions to invest for him to have had such returns from bitcoin business.

I learnt this guys has invested in big properties and I'm sure he is worth 100M with some of his investment and properties I have idea of.

Friend, I'm very sure that this guy is only telling us lies that his wealth is from Bitcoin trading/business.

Please, what could be the possible source of his sudden wealth?

Thanks for your anticipated response.

Friends,

I promised to be sharing my testimony as I progress in my journey to becoming a mini importation guru with the help of Mr. Gideon, and here is the outcome of the first Facebook ads I did yesterday and the screenshot of my conversation with a customer.

This is just a proof that the strategy works and so as to appreciate the effort of Mr. Gideon on someone like me that knew nothing about mini importation business a week ago.

Here is the link to the Facebook Ads:

Glad to know you have made progress.

Any advice for someone about to start?
The advice is just that you should take the risk of starting.

There is no crime in trying.

I wish you success!

Piggery Business is a good one if you have passion for it.
It's less risky and you will have time to do other things. The ROI after 2years will be mind blowing.

You just need to set it up and get someone to manage for you.

I won't mind if you can also tell us about that lucrative business of yours so that we can learn as well.

Thanks in anticipation for your response sir.

Hello friends,

I'm researching another small scale businesses I can start with about #100,000 and a friend suggested Agent banking business.

I just want to ask from nairalanders that are already in the business, how profitable is the business and the challenges associated with it?

Thanks in anticipation for your reply.
Indeed, entrepreneurs are risk takers.
If you are not ready to take reasonable risk don't bother to go into business.

I created this tread when I was about starting my Banking Agency business but now I know better.

A friend gave me one of his POS machine to use in my new POS location so as to know the viability of the business and the result was fantastic.
I now have my own POS machine and I have returned my friend's.

I'm really glad I took the decision!
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Gap Teeth A Reason For Disqualification In Bank Interviews? by Boade123: 10:52am On May 28, 2020
Bro, your gap tooth is not the issue here.
It's just that you are not lucky to get the job.

My boss in the bank where I once worked had a very wide gap tooth up and down, and he is still the manager of the branch till today.

Don't you know the interviewers also have candidates for that same job you are being interviewed for?
Many interviews are just scam!

Bro, I would advise you to start a side business that you love and if at the end of the day you find a white collar job it is still good. The job will help you to raise enough capital or scale up your business.

Banking job is not always the best especially when it's a contract job like the service executive of a thing.

So, stop wasting your time searching for a job that would make you feel like resigning in your first month of resumption.

I wish you the best in live.

CareerRe: Access Bank To Cut Staff Salaries, Retrench 75% Of Workers by Boade123: 4:03pm On May 01, 2020
Bank retrenchment is not really the issue.

Though, it's not easy working as a contract staff and attending interviews while still working in bank. There won't be enough time for that because of the nature of banking jobs.

There is nothing wrong with retrenchment but the problem is your level of preparation.

When you are fortunate to get a contract job in a bank, give yourself a target, say maximum of 5years and work on your personal business or other job opportunities and don't relax that you have got a permanent job. With this mindset, retrenchment, sack, layoff or whatsoever can't shock you when it eventually happens.

I would not have had the opportunity to do the business I'm into currently had it been I was not sacked.

Thank God for my level of preparation at the time the retrenchment was done.
I was always of the opinion that the job was not my father's own and being a bank contract staff would end one day.

So, be prepared for this kind of a thing as a banker, especially when you are a contract staff.

Business opportunities abound.

DonMustafa:
It is better to cut staff salaries than to sack them. Even if the staffs will hunt for other jobs, at least something still comes in monthly to pay bills. Complete sack is terrible.
