It's 50k monthly. I feel it's a good deal considering the fact that from other sources, it's 30k weekly.

He should jump on the offer.

I guess it's not about the pay (100k up north is equivalent to 200k down south)

I'm sure it's very much about earning and being with family.

My suggestion is for him to bargain for 30k weekly on the car. And please insure and add tracker to car budget.

I'm in a dilemma that need serious genuine help.

There are situations one never foresee and it comes leaving you with no choice but to ask even strangers just to ease the burden of immediate family.

I got married late last year and all was good until December 17th night I got a call my dad got STROKE. I had to travel leaving my pregnant wife to go take care of him. I ended up spending almost 3months in time and over 150k in cash during the period. I had 200k left which I was looking for a car on hire purchase for taxi since my income was nothing compared to the issue at hand. My Elder brother locked up his store since I had to return to my salary job.

currently, with my income, it's possible for me to meet up my dad and brother's need over there, my pregnant wife and my needs down here. My elder brother wants to return to his store and wants me back to taking care of my dad.

I can't leave because my wife is almost due to deliver and much has not been done.

So I had to use my 200k savings ( since I couldn't get a car) to rent an apartment and requested my dad joins me. He'll becoming anything from this weekend.

I've not been paid over a month.

I am in Benin and basically I need help.

I'm looking to raise 500k to get a decent car for cab. I'll payback on a weekly basis. I just want to make sure we all can eat while hoping for something better in the future.

I am in need of advice and reference as how best to go about my dad's issue.

My dad happened to be a federal staff working in Abuja until 2002 when everything came crashing.

He was a level 10 officer working with the then FEDERAL MINISTRY OF WORKS AND HOUSING and was transferred to Nasarawa state. He left us (his family) in the staff quarters then in Abuja and do visit by weekends.

(The main issue)

He stood surety for someone and the person absconded. On his visit on one of the weekends, he was arrested and in police custody for about 3 months (2001- 2002). During the period in custody, he wasn't able to contact his office even through the police (sent several letters through the police but never knew if it was delivered).

This was the period FEDERAL MINISTRY OF WORKS AND HOUSING was split into MINISTRY OF WORKS and MINISTRY OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT.

The surety case was charged to court and my dad was granted bail and on getting to his office, he got the new development but was posted to neither ministry. This was the beginning of my dad's frustration- he lost everything. Even the little savings he had was used on tracing and sorting of documents all to no avail. It was during the predicament that ministries started selling staff quarters to occupants and since he was unable to purchase, he was ejected and moved to the village where he is currently (2012 till date).

His health has gone worst and he is completely helpless
(partial stroke)...

Now, he said someone wants to help him with his case at work for his gratuity and pension to be restored (there was no letter of termination of appointment) but would need funds to sort out documents ( over 18years).

Please!... Is this possible?

Any advice on how to go about this issue?

Note, he was suppose to retire 2013.
