Igbos did not go to war, rather it was Gowon that sent troops to attack and invade them July 6th,1967. The result was that they also defended themselves. Did anyone send Army Divisions and Airforce jets to attack and invade the SW during June 12th. Was there a military action to occupy the SW and remove all their Governors and officials? Am sure if Babangida did that it would also have resulted into a full scale war too. Let's be conversant with history and be guided accordingly. That they betrayed Abiola nearly 20 years ago does not mean that they are not repentant now nor does it mean that they are not democrats. That they opposed Abiola then means nothing. Every day they keep signing agreements and hosting investors, yet nothing practical is happening on the ground. The only pictures i see are those of pot bellied men laughing and shaking hands. Go and look at the Lekki port, pictures of on going construction there shows full scale mobilization and construction. Automatic3444:See your head. Are u the only one that pays tax? Your tax times 1000 is not even up to the tax the smallest member of that Polo Club pays to the government. Same way as you want investment with your tax is same way they too want investment with their tax as a way of encouragement. Incase you don't know, the richest 10% of any the society Contributes 90% of tax. Same in Churches, the richest 10% of the members contributes 90% of the tithe. |

I was about joining the Anti Buhari camp until OBJ and IBB beat me to it. Now am having second thoughts. Because I don't think OBJ who wasted the best chance of putting Nigeria on a solid path has any useful advice to offer. Mistake she made was shamefully advertising the pregnancy all over the press knowing fully well how immoral it is. Agreed, people do make mistakes, and If she was engaged and got pregnant by mistake or by design, the most honourable thing to do was to have hastened up the wedding and get married before shamelessly advertising the pregnancy. After all, her kid sister Laura also gave birth just a few months after her marriage meaning that she was pregnant during her own wedding. But it was handled with wisdom and today there's no scandal. This makes me suspect that either Linda is pregnant for a man whom she has no plans of marrying or that she lacks moral wisdom and wise counsel. 1 Like |

She was almost living a perfect life of financial success and moral uprightness until this incident. You see, the problem is not just that she got pregnant outside marriage which I can be forced to say maybe it was a mistake... But that she was flaunting it openly and shamelessly for the press to broadcast as if it's a trophy. And upon that she lies that she prayed to God and God gave it to her. Did I just hear something from Linda? That God told her to go ahead fornicating outside the marriage institution? Sorry Linda, which God are u talking of? The one we all worship on Sunday or another god? You see, we live in a morally corrupt society where financial success covers a multitude of wrong doings and immorality. ReinaFarine:Don't confuse a financially successful person with a role model. Trump is far richer than Obama, but when it comes to be a role model for decent living, pls don't compare the two. We all hail Davido, Wizkid and other baby dadies for now, why? Cos their present cash covers up a multitude of immoralities. But when they grow old and their children become adults then you will see the real family squabbles come into play. Till today, Abiolas family is divided to the core dues to different children from different women. Same as Ojukwu.. But these are successful and great men who made mistakes earlier in their lives. No matter what one talks about IBB, I respect the fact that he kept a woman to the end despite billions and ability to go on a marriage spree. Sometimes I wonder if there are two IBBs, IBB the model family man, and IBB the known Maradona. Banky W for now is a role model, I pray he keeps his family and career going well. Agreed Kemi talks a lot, but some of the things she said here needs further reflexion. However, my personal point is how can Linda, a role model of decency and hard work be flaunting pregnancy outside marriage. Shows either she's been so desperate or that the society have lost all moral values. What even baffles me the more is that she even dares to say she prayed for it n God blessed her with it.
