The contradictions indicate that Mr Nnaji could not have received his bachelor’s degree from the UNN or got mobilised for the NYSC scheme at the time he claimed. Fresh evidence has emerged confirming that the academic credentials with which the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji, secured his appointment in 2023 could not have been genuine. A PREMIUM TIMES investigative report published on Saturday revealed that while Mr Nnaji gained admission into UNN in 1981 to study microbiology/biochemistry, he dropped out without completing his studies. Despite this, Mr Nnaji emerged on the political scene in the past years claiming to have graduated from the institution with a second-class honour, lower division, in July 1985. Documents seen by PREMIUM TIMES now show that at the time Mr Nnaji claimed to have graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) and purportedly proceeded to participate in the mandatory national youth service, he was still exchanging correspondences with the institution on how he could re-sit a failed terminal course examination. The records show that Mr Nnaji failed a virology course — MCB 431AB — and subsequently made two unsuccessful attempts to re-sit the examination. The university’s registrar, through a letter dated 8 November 1985, informed him that he failed the course in the round of September 1985 supplementary examinations, and advised him on the steps he needed to take to have a re-sit. This letter was sent to him about four months after he claimed to have completed his studies and graduated from the university. The copy of a letter addressed to Mr Nnaji to re-sit a failed course “I regret to inform you that the result of the 1984/85 September Supplementary examination results show that you have not made the required grade in the 1985 September supplementary examination in the following course — MCB 431 A -Virology,” the registrar’s letter read. “If you wish to take the June 1986 examination as is provided by the university of Nigeria academic regulations, you are required to notify the registrar through your head of department with a proof of payment of examination fee of N4 (four naira).” Responding through a 3 January 1986 letter, Mr Nnaji formally notified the registrar of his intention to retake the course, stating that he had paid the required N4 fee. Yet, he failed to appear for the rescheduled exam. Mr Nnaji's reply to the registrar's letter Mr Nnaji’s reply to the registrar’s letter So, in another letter dated 19 May 1986 and addressed to the registrar, he attributed his absence from the examination to ill health and requested another re-sit opportunity during the September 1986 supplementary examinations. A copy of the letter seen by PREMIUM TIMES indicated that his medical report was attached to support his claim. Mr Nnaji’s second letter to the UNN registrar appealing for a re-sit “Due to ill health, I was unable to take the outstanding terminal course MCB 431 AB-virology which took place on the 21st of April 1986,” he wrote at the time. “I, therefore, pray that you grant me, Sir, the opportunity to do so during the supplementary examinations.” These correspondences punctured Mr Nnaji’s claim that he graduated from UNN in July 1985. More than 10 months after he claimed to have graduated, as of May 1986, he was still scrambling to re-sit an outstanding crucial course examination. A 2 October 2025 letter from the university’s vice-chancellor, Simon Ortuanya, in response to PREMIUM TIMES’ freedom of information request, showed that Mr Nnaji did not return to complete the outstanding course. Other discrepancies PREMIUM TIMES’ two-year investigation, published Saturday, already raised fundamental inconsistencies in Mr Nnaji’s academic and service records. For example, the notification of result he tendered claims he graduated in July 1985 with a second class (lower division), while his purported National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge certificate indicates he commenced service in April 1985 — months before he purportedly completed his studies. Notification of result certificate, submitted to the Nigerian authorities during the screening process Both documents stand in stark contrast to the correspondences he exchanged with UNN’s registrar between 1985 and 1986, showing he had yet to pass the outstanding terminal virology course crucial to his graduation from the university. The NYSC certificate, submitted alongside other credentials during his screening The contradictions indicate that Mr Nnaji could not have received his bachelor’s degree from the UNN or got mobilised for the NYSC scheme at the time he claimed. The revelations raise questions over how he secured clearance from the State Security Service (SSS) and the Senate to be appointed minister in 2023 in the face of glaring discrepancies in his credentials. The investigation Allegations of certificate forgery have dogged Mr Nnaji since July 2023, when President Bola Tinubu named him among the first batch of 28 ministerial nominees from 25 states forwarded to the Senate as part of the president’s initial cabinet list, two months after taking office on 29 May 2023. Critics have long insisted that Mr Nnaji did not complete his university education and that both the bachelor’s degree and National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate he presented to President Tinubu, as well as to the offices of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, the State Security Service, and the Senate, were forged. A painstaking two-year investigation published by PREMIUM TIMES on Saturday indeed showed that Mr Nnaji forged the credentials. This newspaper reported on Sunday that the minister has admitted that the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) never issued him a degree certificate. Many Nigerians have expressed outrage over the minister’s forged certificate scandal. On Monday, Mr Nnaji was absent from a press conference his office called to address the matter https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/826268-certificate-forgery-minister-nnajis-own-letters-counter-his-graduation-claim.html

The lives of the people of Kwara are being used for political games. Instead of saving lives, The APC government in Kwara state is more interested in responding to whatever Peter Obi says. The truth is, Nigeria currently does not have a government |

mascot87:Future impossible tense"? My brother, the only thing more impossible than that grammar is expecting good governance from this administration. You talk about ‘taking advantage’ of government policies which ones exactly? The ones that have tripled food prices and fuel prices, collapsed the naira, and left millions in idps owing to insecurities ravage the entire country and in darkness while the President globe-trots and remain aloft This country is bleeding, and no amount of motivational delusion can change the fact that Tinubu’s government has so far been a masterclass in failure. Nigerians don’t owe the government gratitude for surviving the government owes them results for the mandate it was given or claimed to have snatch, grab and run away with. |
madridguy:The way you folks try to rationalize anything no matter how undemocratic or outrageous by dragging in unrelated analogies is honestly mind-blowing. Comparing a football club job to a democratic political process? Really? This isn’t Real Madrid vs Barcelona. We’re talking about a Lagos State Chairman of a supposedly neutral transport union threatening members. That’s not loyalty that’s coercion. And in any real democracy, it’s unacceptable. You can’t claim to support democracy while applauding political thuggery and voter intimidation. Some of you wear your ignorance like a badge of honor, loud and proud and it shows |

He has long been declared a persona non grata; NUPENG merely reestablished that fact. |
madridguy:You’re really struggling to defend this probably because you're one of the agberos he's talking about. First, you claimed he was talking to members. I asked you whether that gives him the right to terrorize them, and now you're trying to twist what was said like it's some motivational speech. You’re literally out here justifying threats because according to you “APC is giving them food”? That’s your defense? And what exactly did Omo Barca do that warranted a thinly veiled threat? You’re here doing mental gymnastics to excuse a so called union leader using his position to intimidate people for political loyalty in broad daylight. If you can’t see the problem with that, then maybe you’re not just defending thuggery you’re living it. Sometimes, truly, silence would do you more good than exposing your lack of se.nse |
madridguy:So let me get this straight, you're saying Alhaji Tafa Sego threatening to kîll his own members is okay because "the message was for his members only"? Wow. So the Lagos NURTW chairman now has a license to kîll, maim, or terrorize anyone under his union if they don’t vote APC in 2027? Sometimes, it’s honestly better to stay silent and be assumed a f… than to open your mouth and confirm it for the whole world. |
The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) was created to protect the rights of road transport workers, drivers, conductors, and others who form the backbone of Nigeria’s urban mobility. But in Lagos, the union has become something else entirely: a politically weaponized gang, more loyal to the ruling elite than the workers it claims to represent. Recent events have confirmed what many Nigerians have long suspected. A viral video showed the Lagos NURTW Chairman, Adekunle Mustapha (a.k.a. Sego), openly threatening to kill anyone who votes against the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 elections. He didn't stutter. He wasn’t hiding. He said it with the confidence of someone who knows there will be no consequences. This isn’t new. During the 2023 general elections, then- Lagos NURTW chairman MC Oluomo made similar threats, warning non-Yoruba voters to stay away from polling units. Again, there was video evidence. Again, nothing happened. What makes this situation dangerous is not just the threats themselves, but the deafening silence of Nigeria’s security agencies. The police, DSS, and INEC have consistently looked the other way as these men acting under the guise of a union have repeatedly used intimidation and violence to influence electoral outcomes in Lagos. Their silence is not just troubling; it's complicit. It raises a serious question: Can Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who claims to be a democrat, truly distance himself from the violent machinery that has helped secure his political dominance in Lagos? For decades, the Lagos chapter of the NURTW has acted as a private militia silencing dissent, intimidating voters, and ensuring electoral victories through fear rather than free choice. These aren't isolated cases or rogue elements; this is a system, well-oiled and deeply entrenched. And it is deeply undemocratic. The continued use of thugs, agberos, hoodlums and union officials as political enforcers corrodes public trust in democracy and sets a dangerous precedent for future elections not just in Lagos, but nationwide. The NURTW should be a vehicle for labour rights, not a weapon of electoral violence. If we remain silent, if security agencies continue to ignore these open threats, we risk normalizing a system where political power is won not at the ballot box, but with the machete and guns. This is a warning to Nigerians: democracy cannot survive where violence is rewarded, where threats go unpunished, and where thuggery is treated as strategy. The Lagos NURTW has strayed far from its purpose and unless it is held accountable, it will remain a danger not just to transport workers, but to every Nigerian voter who still believes their voice should matter. |

EXCLUSIVE: Bandits Overrun, Seize Six Machine Guns, 30,000 Rounds Of Ammunition From Nigerian Army In Kwara As Air Force Declines Support According to security sources, the heavily armed gang that carried out the attack is the same group now terrorising parts of Kogi State, where dozens of residents have been killed in recent days. At least six General Purpose Machine Guns (GPMGs) and more than 30,000 rounds of ammunition were seized from a Nigerian Army joint task force by bandits in Obanla, Kwara State, last month, SaharaReporters has learned. According to security sources, the heavily armed gang that carried out the attack is the same group now terrorising parts of Kogi State, where dozens of residents have been killed in recent days. The bandits reportedly ambush military units after receiving intelligence about their impending operations against them. “Last month, six General Purpose Machine Guns (GPMGs) and over 30,000 rounds of ammunition were seized from the Nigerian Army in Obanla, Kwara State,” a senior military officer told SaharaReporters “It was seized by bandits from the Nigerian Army's joint task force. They're the ones that have now reached Kogi and are wreaking havoc. “They killed 27 people in Kogi yesterday, but it was not reported.” “Their modus operandi is to get intelligence of impending military response and ambush them,” one security operative familiar with the situation said. Sources disclosed that while the Nigerian Air Force initially tracked the movement of the armed group, it later declined requests for sustained aerial support during the firefight. The failure of the NAF to provide aerial support allowed the bandits to overpower the troops and cart away their weapons. “The operation once again exposed the deep lack of synergy between Nigeria’s security agencies,” a senior military officer told SaharaReporters. “The Army and the Police could not coordinate effectively, and even when the Air Force was invited to provide crucial aerial support, they simply refused to respond.” According to sources, in the aftermath of the incident, the Kwara State Government was handed an old video clip of an aerial bombardment to circulate as evidence of a “successful operation.” The footage was later found to be fake. “The state governor was then given an old video of an aerial bombardment to circulate; this was later exposed to be fake,” one of the sources said. “This is why insecurity persists, not because Nigeria lacks firepower, but because those entrusted with securing the nation are locked in rivalry, inefficiency, and institutional arrogance.” SaharaReporters earlier reported that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s media aide circulated old photographs of NAF airstrikes in Borno State, falsely presenting them as recent military operations in Kwara. The images were shared after bandit attacks in Oke-Ode and nearby villages in Ifelodun Local Government Area left more than a dozen people dead and displaced several residents. Kwara Governor AbdulRazaq's Administration Circulates Old Borno Airstrike Photos As Military Response In Oke-Ode Community Under growing public pressure, the governor’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Olayinka Fafoluyi (popularly known as Solace), posted the photographs on Facebook, claiming they showed NAF air raids against terrorists in Kwara South. However, a SaharaReporters fact-check confirmed that the images were from an air force operation under Operation HADIN KAI in Bula Marwa, Borno State, conducted in October 2024. The photographs, originally published by PRNigeria, had no connection to the recent violence in Kwara. Recent Attacks On Yagba West SaharaReporters earlier reported on Sunday that no fewer than 27 people were killed on Saturday when armed bandits launched a brutal attack on several communities in Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State. A military source confirmed the incident to SaharaReporters, describing the attackers as heavily armed and in possession of sophisticated weapons. “Bandits killed 27 people in Yagba West, Kogi State, just yesterday, and it was not reported. They invaded the area with heavy weapons,” the source said. Yagba West, the home local government of Senator Sunday Karimi, who represents Kogi West Senatorial District and chairs the Senate Committee on Services, has recently come under a series of deadly bandit attacks. For instance, on Friday, SaharaReporters reported that bandits struck early in the morning in Bareke, Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of the state. SaharaReporters learnt that the assailants targeted a residential home around 2 a.m., abducting a woman and her two children. The woman’s husband narrowly escaped with injuries during the raid, which occurred near the residence of Senator Karimi in Egbe. The attack followed a similar incident in Ejiba, on Thursday, another community in Yagba West, where a commercial bus was attacked and all passengers were kidnapped. During that incident, SaharaReporters learnt that a motorcyclist identified by serial number 256 was reportedly killed. These recent incidents highlight a growing wave of insecurity in Kogi’s Yagba West area, raising concerns among residents about the safety of their lives and property. In a related incident, SaharaReporters reported on Thursday that bandits stormed Bethel Farm in Ejiba, Yagba West LGA, on the night of Wednesday, October 1, kidnapping three individuals. Community sources told SaharaReporters that earlier on Wednesday morning, along the route between Ejiba and Odo-Eri, the gang attacked a bread distributor, shooting one of the staff members during the assault. Photographs obtained by SaharaReporters show a burnt motorcycle believed to belong to vigilante officers who confronted the bandits during the night attack. On Friday, September 26, 2025, SaharaReporters released a video showing Okunran, a community in Yagba West LGA, completely deserted after residents fled following recent deadly attacks by armed bandits. The footage showed abandoned homes and empty streets, highlighting the scale of the exodus. Sources said the mass flight was prompted by repeated assaults on the community, forcing locals to seek safety elsewhere. https://saharareporters.com/2025/10/05/exclusive-bandits-overrun-seize-six-machine-guns-30000-rounds-ammunition-nigerian-army |

Commentor:It's obvious you're not well-informed, so let me break it down to your level. When the minimum wage was N18,000 during Jonathan’s administration, that amount could buy at least two 50kg bags of rice with some change left for other essentials. Fast forward to today, N70,000 minimum wage can’t even buy one 50kg bag of rice. That’s the difference. This is exactly what we mean when we say Tinubu’s policies have wrecked the value of the naira and plunged the economy into chaos. In fact, Tinubu didn’t just mismanage the economy, he literally set it on fire. Tinubu committed economic arson |
Kemetian:Which Nigerians are you referring to, please? Is it the same Nigerians suffering under Tinubu's calamitous economic policies masquerading as reforms policies that have only succeeded in inflicting untold hardship, hunger, and strife? And now, Tinubu is telling Nigerians to continue enduring the pain, as if his sole purpose as president is to inflict pains and make life unbearable. |
The judge adjourned the matter until October 23 for a hearing. The Abuja Division of the Federal High Court, on Friday, refused to hear an application filed by Dumebi Kachiku against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the David Mark-led leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Mr Kachikwu, the 2023 presidential candidate of ADC, is seeking an order compelling INEC to forthwith withdraw the unlawful publication of Mr Mark and Rauf Aregbesola’s names as national chairman and secretary of the party pending the determination of the suit. Justice James Omotosho, however, declined to hear the motion, marked FHC/ABJ/CS/1331/2025, which was brought by Dayo Akinlaja (SAN), on Mr Kachikwu’s behalf. “This court is not inclined to nullify anything at this stage, whether done before or now. This is a political case,” Mr Omotosho said. “I am not taking any interlocutory matter.” Instead, Mr Omotosho held that all the processes filed by the parties, including the preliminary objections of the defence, would be taken together with the substantive suit. All efforts by Mr Akinlaja to have his application heard were rebuffed by the judge. INEC had recently recognised Mr Mark, a former Senate president, and Mr Aregbesola, ex-governor of Osun, as ADC’s national chairman and national secretary. Mr Kachikwu and others had, on July 7, filed the originating summons to challenge the purported appointment and declaration of Messrs Mark and Aregbesola as national chairman and secretary of the party. Others in the suit include Adikwu Elias, Etimbuk Umoh, Muhammed Khala, and Alaku Godwin William as the second to fifth plaintiffs. They named INEC, ADC, Ralph Nwosu, and Messrs Mark and Aregbesola as the first to the fifth defendants, respectively. When the case was called on Friday, Mr Akinlaja informed the court that the matter was adjourned for hearing. The lawyer, however, told the court that a motion was filed on September 19 by the plaintiff. He said the motion was hinged on the fact that despite the pendency of the suit in court, INEC chose to recognise the leadership of Messrs Mark and Aregbesola. In the motion, the plaintiffs sought an order setting aside the purported recognition and publication of Messrs Mark and Aregbesola’s names as chairman and secretary of ADC. They argued that the action had been done during the pendency of the suit and in violation of the doctrine of lis pendens. They also sought an order of injunction restraining Messrs Nwosu, Mark, and Aregbesola from continuing to deal or relate with INEC in the capacity of national officers of the party. Mr Akinlaja, therefore, pleaded with the judge to have the motion taken, but to no avail. Shaibu Aruwa (SAN), who appeared for ADC, and other lawyers for the defence opposed the application. Mr Omotosho, who granted an application for joinder filed by Nkemakolam Ukandu, the deputy national secretary of ADC, made a consequential order for amendment of the suit to accommodate Mr Ukandu’s name as a defendant. The judge gave the plaintiffs 48 working hours to file their consequential amendment and seven days to the defence to respond. He adjourned the matter until October 23 for a hearing https://gazettengr.com/court-refuses-kachikwus-motion-against-inec-adc-leadership/ |

For over two years, Nigerians have been told to 'endure the pain' of reforms. From 'temporary hardship' to 'painful surgery, President Tinubu has used every metaphor in the book. But when will the pain end? When does the progress begin? We were told that the removal of fuel subsidy and floating the naira would hurt briefly, but bring long-term relief. Instead, food prices have tripled. Fuel pump price is high and have remain so leading to exorbitant transport cost and increase in food prices . Businesses are shutting down. Salaries can't keep up. Still, we’re told: 'Be patient.' Eight times Tinubu told Nigerians to endure pain publicly, on record: On October 1, 2023 Independence Day: he said and I quote “Reform may be painful, but it is what greatness requires.” And on July 28, 2023 during a Meeting with APC Youth Leaders; he said “I understand your pain… be patient.” On August 18, 2023 during Edwin Clark’s Autobiography Event, he said “Bear the pain of subsidy removal. Tomorrow will be better.” On August 7, 2024 in his Post-subsidy Public address: he said “Look beyond the present temporary pains.” On July 26, 2024 during a meeting with Governors, he said “No childbirth without pain… be a little patient.” On December 2024 at the OAU Convocation, he said “Endure this unintentional hardship.” On 26 September 2025 at the Coronation of the Olubadan, he said “This is painful surgery. Recovery is coming.” And lastly, on October 1, 2025 65th Independence Day speech, he said “Yesterday’s pains are giving way to relief…” The message is always the same: Endure, Wait, Hope, Be patient But Nigerians are still waiting. No plan. No timeline. No sign of real relief. Just more pain. When will President Tinubu stop telling Nigerians to bear the pain and start telling us how we’ll enjoy the results? Pain is not policy. Endurance is not a strategy. Suffering shouldn’t be the only thing we can afford. Nigerians deserve more than promises. Nigerians deserve a roadmap out of hardship, Measurable results, Real economic relief, and accountability Not just speeches and sympathy. To Tinubu and his co travelers, Nigerians have heard enough about pain. What’s the plan? When does it start? When will Nigerians feel the progress? You can’t keep asking a nation to endure without ever delivering the promised change. |

ABUJA – The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has warned that millions of citizens are still grappling with hunger, insecurity, and joblessness despite ongoing reforms, stressing that true progress must go beyond economic statistics to tangible relief in households across the country. In a statement signed by Archbishop Daniel Okoh, President of CAN, to mark Nigeria’s 65th independence anniversary, the apex Christian body congratulated the nation on its milestone but urged leaders to prioritise policies that deliver food security, protection of lives, and opportunities for young people. “True progress must be measured not only by statistics but by the food on every table, the security of every community, and the opportunities available to every child,” Archbishop Okoh said. CAN acknowledged that Nigeria has recorded notable growth in education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, and telecommunications since independence. It recalled that from a handful of schools and institutions in 1960, the country now boasts thousands, producing generations of young men and women shaping the nation’s future. However, the association stressed that the ‘unfinished’ business of nation-building is being undermined by rising costs of living, food insecurity, unemployment, and inflation. “We pray that God will grant our leaders the wisdom, courage, and strength to drive the reforms to a point where Nigerians will rejoice, and may He protect them from sycophants who do not mean well for our nation,” Archbishop Okoh added. On security, CAN lamented that terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and communal conflicts have inflicted deep pain on citizens and displaced families across the country. “While strides have been made in restoring safety, more still needs to be done to guarantee the protection of lives and property,” CAN said, urging sustained collaboration between security agencies, communities, and faith-based organisations to consolidate peace. Turning to the role of young people, CAN described them as Nigeria’s greatest asset but warned against the persistent brain drain that robs the country of its brightest minds. “Nigeria must create the enabling environment that encourages its citizens, especially the youth, to stay, thrive, and contribute meaningfully to national development,” the association said, calling for sustained investment in education, innovation, and youth empowerment. The body also appealed to leaders and citizens to rise above ethnic, religious, and political divides, insisting that national challenges can be overcome through collective sacrifice, patriotism, and trust in God. “On this anniversary, let us renew our commitment to justice, equity, and good governance. Let us embrace hard work, pay our taxes faithfully, support local production, and show love to one another as one people under God,” Archbishop Okoh said. CAN expressed optimism that with God’s help and the determination of citizens, the country can achieve unity and prosperity. “The dawn of a new Nigeria is possible. With God’s help and our shared determination, we shall build a nation where peace, prosperity, and unity flourish for generations to come,” Archbishop Okoh added https://www.vanguardngr.com/2025/10/nigeria-at-65-nigerians-hungry-for-food-not-just-statistics-can/ |

.....Nigeria Only Changed Colonial Masters Citing the plight of pensioners, restrictions on free speech, and political repression, Sowore compared present-day governance to colonial rule. Human rights activist and convener of #RevolutionNow Movement, Omoyele Sowore has reiterated his position that Nigeria is yet to attain true independence, saying that Nigerian leaders have replicated the colonial-era oppression. Sowore made the remarks on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, during a peaceful protest organised by the #RevolutionNow movement in Abuja as Nigeria marks its 65th Independence Day anniversary. The former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) argued that despite six and a half decades since Britain formally handed over power in 1960, Nigerians remain trapped under systems that deny them basic freedoms and dignity. “Nigeria’s independence is what we are pursuing. The one they are celebrating is the one of the colonial masters. Our own independence has not arrived yet. That is why annually we protest on Independence Day,” Sowore said. He added that the oppression faced by ordinary Nigerians had merely shifted from foreign rulers to indigenous elites who continue to exploit the masses. “We are still looking for independence. We want to be free from neocolonial masters and slave masters in our country. We are still living in apartheid,” he declared. Citing the plight of pensioners, restrictions on free speech, and political repression, Sowore compared present-day governance to colonial rule. “Any country where people work and they cannot get pension is not an independent country. Any country where people speak and they get clamped down into prison or detention is not independent. “That is what the colonial masters used to do to us. The colonial masters used to call what they call cybercrime now sedition law - if you speak against authorities, you go to jail. So, we are still looking for independence.” Nigeria gained independence from Britain on October 1, 1960, and became a republic three years later. However, its post-independence history has been marred by military coups, civil war, widespread corruption, and recurring economic crises. Sowore, who has long been a critic of successive governments, founded the #RevolutionNow movement in 2019 to demand systemic change, good governance, and respect for human rights. His activism has frequently brought him into confrontation with state authorities, including arrests and prolonged detentions. The activist’s remarks resonate with growing frustrations among Nigerians grappling with inflation, unemployment, insecurity, and alleged crackdowns on dissent. His comparison of present governance to apartheid reflects a deepening sentiment that political independence has not translated into social and economic liberation for the majority of citizens. https://saharareporters.com/2025/10/01/we-are-still-looking-independence-nigeria-only-changed-colonial-masters-sowore |
