ecolime:Even in this moment of grief, you still display your tribal and ethnic bigotry. Peter Obi is not the reason you turned out to be a catastrophe. |
The great Tinubulation |

Any presidential candidate the Igbos don't vote overwhelmingly for turns out to become a catastrophe Buhari and Tinubu are typical examples |
Ezewuzie01:Tinubu is a catastrophe It doesn't have anything to do with super eagles winning the Afcon trophy |
Enjoy Your Regrets In leadership, the number one source of authority is legitimacy, and the first ingredient of legitimacy is integrity. Read that again. A leader without authority is a clown in office. A leader without legitimacy that is product of integrity cannot exercise authority. Civilized societies in the world understand this simple yet fundamental principle of leadership. That is why they will scrutinize to the smallest details anyone who aspire to lead. That is why anyone in leadership position discovered to have integrity deficit will have to go. They understand that a leader without integrity is liability to society. They understand this basic principle of leadership. But not in Nigeria. Never! You that is reading this, there's something you will put on the internet about the president or his deputy, about the security agency, or about the intelligence agencies, they will smoke you out in less than 24 hours. Wherever you are located within the territory of Nigeria, trust me, they will fish you out in less than 24 hours. They have the resources and what it takes. But, kidnappers and other criminal elements are running around free, unhindered in the perpetration of their enterprise. Citizens are at the mercy of criminals. If the president summons those in charge of security and intelligence agencies and gives them the marching orders to fish out the criminals in two weeks or lose their jobs, something will change. But, listen up, he won't do that. He dare not do that. He won't because he can't. He can't because he dare not. You know why? Legitimacy issues. A leader without legitimacy because of integrity deficit cannot issue ultimatum. How? To who? When you rob your way to power, you have legitimate issues. There are those who have a dossier on you, those who have information of your shenanigans. There are things you dare not attempt. This is where I have issues with the idiots who rejoiced as the road that leads to the highest office in the land was blatantly desecrated, because their preferred candidate was "winning." They were too myopic and stupid to understand that everyone is a loser when a man robs his way to power. Completely unable to see the larger picture. There's a video on the internet of a woman addressing the governor of Ekiti state when he visited communities overran by bandits. The woman told the governor who is on the platform of APC: "Your Excellency, we are endangered... they kill us like fowls... this was where the man sat (pointing at a spot) and was instructing everyone to vote APC (the man she was referring to was one of the traditional rulers abducted and murdered in Ekiti state by yet to be apprehended criminals)... Your Excellency, since they abduct and kill our leaders, what is the fate of we ordinary people..." From the woman's lamentations, one of the traditional rulers abducted and murdered desecrated his throne by conducting himself as agent of APC. APC is ruling at the federal level and in his state, yet he was abducted and murdered. His killers are still running around free. Those who should protect the traditional rulers and citizens have integrity issues, there are instructions they cannot give. If you are among the morons who rejoiced as the road to the highest office in the land was desecrated because it favoured your candidate, keep your frustrations to yourself. You or your loved ones are not safe from the calamity that has engulfed the land. But, do us one favour... Enjoy your regrets quietly. #iConicCommunication ©Simon Oladapo. |

Vice-President Kashim Shettima who witnessed Super Eagles victory over Bafana Bafana of South Africa is returning to Ivory Coast for the finals of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON). Nigeria’s number two citizen was among the dignitaries who watched the Semi-finals of AFCON live at Stade de la Paix in Bouake when the Super Eagles defeated their South African counterparts 4-2 on penalties. Nigeria will take on the host nation in the finals which will take place at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire capital, on Sunday. At a media briefing on Friday, President of CAF, Patrice Motsepe, had said President Bola Tinubu would be in Ivory Coast for the finals. Avoid 1984 final defeat in Ivory Coast, ex-Nigerian player charges Super Eagles Hardship: Dangote storms Kano, pledges assistance When asked if an African country would bid to host the FIFA World Cup again after South Africa, Motsepe had said, “Nigeria must put in a bid. The Nigerian President (Bola Tinubu) is coming to watch the final on Sunday. I will have a conversation with him about it.” But in a statement issued on Saturday, spokesperson of the Vice-President, Stanley Nkwocha, said Tinubu had directed Shettima to lead a presidential delegation to Ivory Coast. “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has directed Vice President Kashim Shettima to lead a presidential team to the finals of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Côte d’Ivoire.” “The Vice President had also represented the President at the semi-finals when the Super Eagles defeated South Africa in a pulsating encounter. The Nigerian national team is set to face host, Côte d’Ivoire, in a thrilling rematch at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan on Sunday, February 11. “The match will rekindle the memories of Nigeria’s 1-0 victory in the group stage secured through Captain William Troost-Ekong’s penalty. “Recognizing the unifying power of football and the immense role the Super Eagles play in fostering national pride and unity, the President, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, believes that Vice President Shettima’s presence at the finals alongside the delegation is a testament to the government’s unwavering support for the team and its dedication to their success.” https://dailytrust.com/afcon-shettima-returning-to-ivory-coast-as-tinubu-stays-back-in-aso-rock/#google_vignette |

RepoMan007:Tinubu and Cardoso created this problem. No one else did. You need to read the below submissions of Farooq as regards Cardoso to realize that he lacks what it takes to handle such an office. "On Friday, I watched Cardoso’s meeting with the senate where he couldn’t answer questions from senators without reading from a prepared script. "I object to this!” a senator yelled in response to Cardoso’s lifeless regurgitation of a prepared speech he obviously didn’t understand. “Let him go back and answer the question!" Anyone who can’t respond to a question without reading a prepared text obviously has no understanding of what he is talking about. Albert Einstein famously said, “if you can't explain it simply then you don't understand it well enough." Cardoso’s case is even worse. He can’t explain it at all. It explains why the economy is in a mess and the naira is in a worse shape than it has ever been. Cardoso’s most important qualification for the job appears to be that he was Economic Planning and Budget commissioner in Lagos when Tinubu was governor, but the job seems to be above his intellectual and experiential paygrade. I know of no CBN governor in my lifetime (until Cardoso) who couldn’t articulate economic policies effortlessly. Even Godwin Emefiele had no difficulty defending his policies. You may question his competence or disagree with his policies, but he could at least clearly formulate thoughts about what he was doing. Cardoso gives me the jitters. Nigeria is in way worse trouble than it realizes with an airhead like that as CBN governor." |
Racoon:Tinubu brought an individual with a patch patch CV to head the Central Bank of Nigeria |
They blame everyone but themselves. |
But he got the power to thoughtlessly remove subsidies and plunge the entire nation into unmitigated hardship. |
These are signs of the great tinubulation. People are now frustrated. |
