CodeTemplar:I get really what you are saying. But u see the way we are in nijja now, this is good news jare. The question is were they corrupt or not?? The court is never gonna sentence anyone unless approached. The judiciary is also not one person. So u should expect different judgments from diff judges. And if really u don't want corruption. You will know that u will reject even ur parents/siblings/friends if they are corrupt. Especially wen it had to do with public funds. Do u know how much these guy have impoverished n setback the northern minority Christians as a result of corruption n cluelessness. But |
CodeTemplar:Stop that! I said stop that!! Is Dariye n Nyame Christians?? Look how they've impoverished n setback their people riding on the corrupt wheels of nija version of religion. 3 gbosaaa for the courageous judge abeg |

A Federal Capital Territory High Court will on Tuesday deliver judgement in an alleged case of fraud brought against former Plateau State governor, Joshua Dariye. Dariye is accused of diverting N1.162 billion from the state’s treasury while he served as governor. He was first elected governor of the state in 1999 under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party. He was re-elected in 2003, but later impeached by the State’s house of assembly in November, 2006. Following judgements of the Appeal and Supreme Courts nullifying his impeachment however, Mr Dariye was ordered to complete his tenure in 2007. The prosecution, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, arraigned the defendant on a 21-count for the alleged offence shortly after the expiration of his tenure in May 2007 According to the anti-graft agency, Mr Dariye used his office to siphon money out of the country, through various accounts. Mr Dariye fought a seemingly endless battle to prevent his trial, from the lower court to the Supreme Court. Ahead of his arraignment in 2007, Mr Dariye challenged the competence of the charges against him, but failed at the trial court. Subsequently the ex-governor approached the Court of Appeal where he also failed in his attempt to stop the trial. Mr Dariye who had secured an order for the suspension of his trial at the lower court, also proceeded to the Supreme Court with his appeal. He was, however, made to continue the trial following an order of the apex court in 2015, after stalling the case for over seven years. The former governor controversially employed the services of a former Attorney General of the federation, Kanu Agabi, who headed the justice ministry when the charge against the defendant was first brought. He is currently a senator on the platform of Nigeria’s ruling party, APC, to which he decamped in 2016. He was elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic party. The judge, Olasumbo Banjoko, slated Tuesday for judgement after entertaining the final address of counsel. Mrs Banjoko is the same judge who sentenced another former Taraba governor, Jolly Nyame to 14 years imprisonment on May, 30. https://www.premiumtimesng.com

But who do us this kin thing for nijaa naa |
Guys u should pipe low on this GTBank Innosson judgement. Because it's not entirely correct. For now, it's only reported by only blog sites and not major news outlets or medias. Even if this is true y is Innosson now speaking for the the supreme Court.Already GTBank has come out to deny this report. In anyway they'll likely settle out of court |

Spot on madam!! Everything should not be about politics, religion and ethnicity in Nigeria abeg. The fact u actually supported the removal the previous regime, show palpably that u are not biased and is indeed a true leader. You a reason many we young nigerians still do have hope in this country. |

iambabaG:Hmmm!! Wait until this govt leaves power then u will be shocked the level of corruption in the executive cabinet and other parastatals under it. Well i don't tolerate corruption, infact it's because of politicians like saraki n others that our country is like this. But what the executive is doing now is never in anyway fighting corruption. They should stop playing politics with the lives of nigerians. Tell me how many politicians in Nigeria today. That do not have tugs n bodyguards including Amaechi, fashola,Ngige, tinubu etc. Infact who were the people killing coppers n innocent nigerians on streets of northern Nigeria in 2011 when PMB lost election n was crying on natl television. Well today is an opportunity given to PMB by God to right the so many wrongs in Nigeria. He will have my full support n that of all well meaning Nigerians when he thoroughly fights corruption, both within n in opposition camps. U can imagine that Falana was actually called to serve as attorney general n this administration only for nepotism it was given to some1else. Now they want to bamboozle us with this there alien n kurukere method of fighting corruption. Abegeee!!! |
