He's even married to Igala woman,

Business / MTN May Sell Its 40% Stake In African Online Retailer, Jumia by bobnatlo(m): 10:20pm On Aug 25, 2018
MTN may sell its 40% stake in African online retailer, Jumia

MTN Group is said to be considering a sale of its shares in online retailer, Jumia, either through an IPO or through a private sale of shares to new investors, according to Bloomberg sources.

The telco, which is the biggest shareholder in Jumia with a 40 percent stake may be planning an initial public offering for the online retailer on the Nasdaq or New York Stock Exchange, with sources saying that other investors like Germany-based Rocket Internet are also open to selling stock.
Jumia, with e-commerce operations in 14 African countries, is said to be currently valued at about $1 billion with sales growth of between 70 percent and 90 percent annually since its inception in 2012.

Bloomberg notes that a successful listing could help MTN reduce debt, which increased to 69.8 billion rand ($4.8 billion) as of the end of June, compared with 57.1 billion rand six months earlier.

While an MTN spokeswoman was quoted as saying that the telco “currently has no plans to dispose of its investment in Jumia in the short term,” in an email, Jumia and Rocket declined to comment on the story.

It is uncertain whether or not Jumia’s other shareholders, Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Millicom International Cellular SA and Orange SA would be selling their stock on the online retailer.

It does, Ghana did and seems all of a sudden Ghana has a stronger currency while we wallow in our worthless currency.
Ghana is one of the fastest growing economy in Africa n beyond for some yrs now.

They achieved millennium development goals recently n have moved into a medium income earning country.

They have achieved stable power to some extent, esp for industries. Because of that, most industries (Dunlop, Michelin, nascow, Unilever etc) in Nigeria before now have moved their production base to Ghana. While exploiting ECOWAS treaty of free movement of goods n humans to still import same goods to sell in Nigeria.

So in economic growth n sound political leadership, Ghana is not our mateoo

According to IMF data about 4 or 3 african countries are among the fastest growing economies in d world. And Ghana is d fastest in west Africa.

While we are still practising nomadic husbandry, killing people for meat, and producing greatest number of poor people in d world.

My dr the poverty in Nigeria is not God made abeg!
It's definitely man made.

How many president's has Katsina n sokoto states produced in Nigeria. Yet katsina has over 75% abject poverty rate, while sokoto has over 80%. But all members n descendants of such families live in luxury.

Do u know that Nigerians were actually richer in 1960 when we were ruled by White's than today with these political leaders, emir's, kings, imams, pastors etc

While leaders in India, China, Singapore, UAE, Brazil, Ethiopia, Ghana SA etc are busy moving chunks of their population in millions, out of poverty. These leaders here are busy telling their subjects to marry many n birth scores, send them out to fend for themselves just to get political advantage.

Tell me, what brand is your present car? I sure say e no go pass kia rio or elantra or any of those useless japanese bicycles. Dem no born you well make you discard your present car for IVM if na Bmw, Benz or Audi you dey drive.

The only way I can use my money to buy IVM is if the company will dash me €3Million along with the useless car. I'm sorry, but it's called "choice" bro!
Guy most Nigerians that use BMW, Benz n Audi are mostly second hand and keep dates with mechanic.
How many Nigerians can afford new Benz.
Just went with a senior friend to obtain a tokumbo RX350 benze 012 for about 5m. He's already keeping dates with mechanics.
And I'm sure his brand new Kia will eventually serve him better for normal city runs without maintenance trips
If IVM is better than Kia n Hyundai that's a big plus plus for them jare

Only in Nigeria that you weep up sentiments like this. Have you not seen disable that are very rich. Being disable doesn't mean you should not do things in a legal way. Let Ayefele go and sought out his problem with the authorities.

N360k might be for services rendered. What kind of human being would pay another $1000=N360k for disturbing his sleep from 11pm to 4am....that’s 5hours!

Governor no dey sleep? Knees no dey pain the woman?.

If u were a disabled n very rich at that then u have d grounds to affirm these thoughts. It's easy for u to say.

What is it about the gospel Fuji that ayefele sings that's really unique. Most times he just recycles popular songs. But people all over just love him because as a disabled huzling n making it for himself n others is rear n should be encouraged in all moral courts. Go ask his fans before u argue with this. So for this he's a best seller, celebrated n a global , unlike us typing in NL.

Infact anything associated with Ayefele will sell in Southwest period even pure water. Do u know how many stations in Ibadan before Fresh FM started?? Today they are among the first n best.

Not forgetting what a kind of society we'll have without press freedom. Do u even know that Nigerian Constitution entails the media to hold our leaders to account explicitly

Every reason given so far by Oyo govt, is still trivials n boils down to differences of opinion.

Few yrs back I was resident in NE, Gombe in particular. An Fg road (sabonline) was to be constructed (dualisation, expansion). That was d major rd in Gombe then n passes through d middle of d town. Part of d money was coming from state n fed. To do that the road was to pass through the tallest building in d town built by S.N. Ukachukwu an Igbo business man.

Normally in Gombe then whether u have CofO or not, the state pays compensation, but may not be up to the actual property value (mine was compensated then).
So the state gov, Ibrahim Goje then simply said, what's the essence of d road construction if not to bring development n employment?? The construction company should should adjuste the design to dodge the house. Besically he wants d road n d house. Which also meant that the house of d Igbo man was preserved n that of hausa neighbors were eventually demolished.

In all these all I'm saying is that if music house must be demolished, it Should never be confrontational. There is a better way to do that than this. If a very good site was given to him n proper compensation (probably a little from security vote of ajimobi) we'll never have these controversy n noise. Just a little wisdom would have made lots of difference. U can say others in akobo was without compensation. But in leadership perception is reality. How many houses were demolished in Ibadan with that kind of angry crowd of people that ain't direct owners of such houses
Would Ajimobi try this in his first tenure
So what our leaders do must be analysed n judged in courts of the people. Even Buhari n APC state supporters were angrily destroying APC billboards that same day.

And you-all accusing her of more I say assumption is lowest form of intelligence.
So use ur head more. If it's that hideous, he'll be saying it on air abi, mtcheeew.

And if u don't Know how nijja politicians roll at night just forget. If u need see a state executive in nija, I repeat those are d times. And coming to beg? U gonna see them anytime it's convenient n mostly at night
