milemimi93:Guy no, u have to follow the story thoroughly to separate facts n sentiments. Assam was asked by Channels host, y Udom abandoned the Eket Rd leading to Akpabios town for 3yrs. Meanwhile doin other projects. After Akpabio had installed Udom as gov. This was one of Akpabios major allegations n greviance against Udom. Take note that Assam is not in Udoms govt. But a former AG to Akpabio, so is presumably neutral So he clarified that the Rd was awarded to JB on 13/02/012 to be completed in 12mnths. Assam went ahead to ask channel's hosts y couldn't Akpabio finish the same Rd after 3yrs. When they couldn't answer as a result of lack of investigative journalism on their part. Assam now clarify that Akpabio handed over a debt profile of 500b. 85b ( not 58b as reported hear) was owed JB alone. So they mortgaged and stalled all their projects in d state, also locking of stadium so they can be paid. So how can Udom complete same Eket Rd if not by gradually/ monthly paying of JB old debts first. So JB can mobilize back to site when the debt has been paid to a certain extent. Infact I have in good authority that work has commenced on same Rd for some time now. Infact Akpabio's man Prof Chris Ekong in d Channel's show was stuttering and babbling like an illiterate when he was asked pointedly to clarify/defend his principal this morning. This is not about taking sides, but stating the facts. I get this is politics! So nothing personal, it's all about personal interest. I really don't blame him. He's interest is best protected by APC at d moment. They'll step down his case with EFCC He'll easily get re-elected in his senatorial zone even in APC He'll become Senate president from SS, which is also good for APC next term for bal of power. Today PMB is paddying with Tinubu in APC to much of his own dislike, because that's where his political interest is best protected. If he remained in Anpp or CPC he would still have remained a regional leader in d north. Today he's in APC and he's d President. So good luck to Akpabio |
Op adjust and correct ur write, Chief Assam said JB was owed 85b and not 58b I watched it this morning life on channel's sunrise show |
deebsman1:Pls kindly look for a healthy way to diffuse this bottled hate n anger. It'll only make u older. Peace and good luck |
deebsman1:Like we are expecting amazing results from PMB without waec abi |
The Emir of Daura, Dr. Umar Faruq Umar has declared that the people from the hometown of President Muhammadu Buhari are hungry and not getting enough from the Federal Government. Umar stated this when he received the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr. Audu Ogbeh at his Daura palace, on Monday. He said, “Buhari by his nature will not influence the siting of any projects in Daura. But his Ministers who benefitted from his appointment should reciprocate by bringing developmental projects to Daura, his birthplace. “It is a call to duty for the Ministers to make provision in their Ministry’s budget of ensuring that Daura benefitted immensely from Buhari administration. “If the Ministers failed to site any projects to Daura, they have betrayed the President and people of Daura. http://dailypost.ng/2018/08/07/people-daura-buharis-hometown-dying-hunger-emir-cries/amp/

bedspread:Adeboye is never that I believe. But he's one of those that put us in this mess with his endorsement of Buhari in 2014 I'm sure he and Osibade will be wondering what hit us by now. Do u know how many Christians n redeemed members killed as a result of the laccadesical and careless way this govt has handled security challenges. At least PDP govt used to declare state of emergency in some states n local govts. Put in military, restore order n safeguard lives n properties. Pls kindly tell me y a SOE has not been declared in Zamfara, mangu, agatu n d rest. Abeg forget our leaders (spiritual n political) have not been Fair to us. |

Well I hate dishonesty, whether from within or without. It doesn't matter if others are getting away with it in d society. If he does not have d required qualifications, he should say so n excuse himself. Enough of this nonsense n impunity in public places. |

President Muhammadu Buhari’s appointee, Modibbo Kawu, the Director-General of National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) is enmeshed in what has been termed hate speech against Senate President Bukola Saraki. Kawu, in a WhatsApp group of northern editors and intellectuals after the defections, lambasted the former Kwara governor. The NBC chief in the chat seen by Premium Times, said: “It is not the “natural” human condition to continuously vote for a kleptocratic hegemony such as Saraki has imposed on our dear Kwara State”. “Bukola Saraki’s hegemony has been responsible for a systematic underdevelopment of Kwara; the entrenchment of a pattern of cult killings and blood letting that’s unique. “And over a three year period, 2010, 2011, and 2013, tens of people were killed in stampede in front of the offices and residence of the Saraki. Even the Offa “robbery” where 33 people died was far more like their pattern of ritual killings than robbery! “How much money do they have in Offa banks that 33 people had to be killed? These are questions people ask in Kwara. Hopefully the incredibly arrogant Bukola Saraki, whose family has no Asali whatsoever, has finally arrived at a denouement! Nothing lasts forever; not a kleptocratic hegemony; not an oppressive domination of a state by a family, which really isn’t even from our state!” Kawu said. He further declared that Saraki is not from Kwara State. “That’s why he doesn’t share the values of our community; looks down at our people and carries himself with so much contempt!’ Mr Kawu said. ‘Even his names tell anyone who knows Ilorin that this is an “alien” individual. His full names are OLUBUKOLA OLABOWALE ADEBISI (sic).” “These are not names an Ilorin person would normally be called. And he didn’t have a Muslim name until he wanted to run for governor in 2002-2003! They first named him Muktar after his grandfather and that was then dropped for Abubakar, the name his father was also “borrowed” in Ilorin. These are the facts!” Kawu said. abescom:Sorry!! U don't know kwarra politics. Let Lai try deliver his local govt first for APC APC is just a one party man and the party is all for one man. Imagine a party using the presidents body language to fight corruption n fix the economy, lol So they shouldn't be surprised with defections now. Common sense should've told APC that as they administer medicine to opposition. They should be ready to take in same medicine ok. Quoting Dele Momodu in his beautiful piece/letter to PMB 'My dr President let my people go' "This cat and mouse game of using State apparatus to witch-hunt deserters is becoming predictable, boring and nauseating. Those who have decamped from APC have only exercised their fundamental rights. Whether they are morally right is neither here nor there and is ultimately a verdict for the electorate to ponder and unravel when elections, which loom large, finally arrive. Similarly, whether they are legally justified in their defection is a matter which your party may seek to take up in the courts, and I am certain that the Courts will do justice to the case as they have been doing despite terrorisation, bullying and coercion from some over-exuberant agencies of your government. I pause to observe that some of these guys were hailed by us when they joined our side the last time. At that time, we justified their defection to us as being part of the democratic process. If they have now decided to go because they believe they are not wanted by some influential gladiators in the ruling party, my dear President, please let them go. Your party’s point that they have done so for less than altruistic reasons will be considered and digested by our people who are quite politically savvy and discerning. They will make up their minds as to the rights and wrongs of it all." |

FOLYKAZE:Yes agreed! But take the ranch to Sambisa, there's enough land there. Moreover no security challenges there as Boko Haram has been defeated technically abi ![]() We say NO to taking people's lands or using public funds for private business. At least OBJ declared state of emergency to restore order n safeguard lives n properties. What has this govt done for the same problems. If not from blaming foreign invaders, militants from Libya and eccowass treaties, meanwhile doing nothing about our borders. Or reviewing the said treaties. To blaming anti grazing laws in two states. Yet more people have been killed before the advent of this law in same states. And more people are being killed in other states without anti-grazing law at the same period. Or recently blaming politicians in opposition to curry political favor. When there are no credible links the govt can produce to back their spurious claims. Nigerian politicians will always be corrupt n will desperately do anything for power. But that's y we elected a govt. Get credible evidence and nail them in court. How can a govt avoid court orders for dasuki that stole/shared billions. Only to be laccadesica n careless about those sponsoring violence. Or how can u be moaning n complaining about your responsibilities. If it's too much for u to handle get out period. Guy nothing, I repeat nothing have battered d image of this present govt like their clueless handling of this Fulani headsman crises. We never had it this bad from any govt before. Nigerians n especially this govt should cover their face in shame. That innocent bloods of her citizens are shed for meat. It's this same middle belt that voted for PMB that is dying carelessly under his watch for private business of meat. How can a govt be protecting normadic husbandry in 21century. Something that even lower African countries abandoned decades ago. Look the govt should be the melting point of ideas from every culture, religion, tribe etc of the society. But when a govt decides to choose all heads of security outfits from a section of the country, how can there not be an implosion in ideas n functions. PMB was in Benue to claim he didn't know that IG disobeyed his orders to relocate to Benue. What was a common knowledge everywhere then. Okay, after the visit, has there been any thing/explanation from the presidency to the grieving people of Benue state. Even if it's IG answer to d president's query. Isn't it better than nothing ![]() With the number of lives lost in Zamfara state, why has d president not declared a SOE there? At least putting milliary there would definitely restore order n save lots of life's before now. The governor has even come out to declare that he has absolutely no control on security of the state already. Today it's obvious that our unitary security architecture is disfunctional n inefficient. So even if we pump billions into it, will still fail. So the clamour for state police. But state police is one major cardinal promise of this present APC govt in 2015. Today it's the same very corrupt natl lawmakers that are pushing for it, while d govt is even denying that it's in their manifesto. Or claiming that party manifesto is diff from PMB's promises. My conclusion: PDP mismanaged governance n were careless n corrupt. But APC is completely a bounced cheque QED |
Speechless! This govt is evil!! |
